There was a bit of a delay in the process due to the Hurricane that came through NC. On November 18th two new doors and 6 windows were installed. Ended up charging more than double to do the project for just installation than other providers, told us to get wrong product than what was actually needed despite coming out and assessing project - overall not a great experience. Update as the company has responded: **Note: I set the appointment, but was not there for the installation. I was on business traveling, but have talked with my wife and this is how things went down. 1. We were charged $150 a door and then assessed an extra $50 fee for putting on locks because they were "difficult" despite being part of the door assembly (total of $350) , not $125/door as was suggested. My wife is a music teacher and has to give lessons - she was not informed there would be a charge for leaving. When she left, providers weren't finished (they hadn't even begun the second door which would take about 45 minutes, so there's no way they were waiting a whole hour as described by the provider). Also, my wife told them she had to leave at an appointed time before they began work. Of course... this whole issue would have been avoided if they instructed us to purchase the correct doors to begin with (see point 2). 2. As we stated in our original review, the company told us to purchase the wrong product upon initial inspection - left hand doors when what was actually needed was right hand doors. When they came out to look, we confirmed what we needed 3 different times with the provider so there was no dispute that what they told my wife and I to purchase was left hand doors. We worked very hard getting these home and staged so that we would be ready when the providers came, but since they were wrong and needed to be exchanged clearly, this delayed the project and was definitely the fault of the provider. 3. The quality and workmanship certainly are not perfect: -there are gaps on the bottom of each door (having had doors installed like this before, I feel a pro should have something to put under it - if you're a pro at storm door installations, you don't leave holes) -the handles don't work 100% properly staying engaged when opened vs. returning to their normal state -Strips installed around on the door to cover screws and such came off hours after installation 4. The board that was straightened was described that it would be "no problem" at any point in the process and told us we wouldn't be charged. It is still not really fixed and should have just been replaced which we offered to pay for and I asked at the initial inspection.
