A lot went wrong with Sam, he’s very incompetent. He couldn’t install the nest thermostat properly. He could not fix the thermostat without it breaking after 25 mins, even when he put the old one on. HE TRIED TO STEAL MY ORIGINAL THERMOSTAT BY PUTTING IT IN HIS BAG THINKING I WOULDN’T NOTICE, UNTIL I HAD TO VERBALLY ASK HIM FOR MY THERMOSTAT BACK. He showed up late every time he came to my place. He always responded 12+ hours later to my text messages after my original payment/ installation when I texted him about my problems with the heat, it always felt like I was bothering him when messaging him. I always felt like an after thought. One time he told me that it was my nest thermostat which was the issue and instead of him coming to fix it, I should try putting the old thermostat that he tried to STEAL, back on myself. I said to myself, are you serious, then what’s the point of paying you all this money if I have to YouTube how to wire and install a thermostat. The electricians who came after him laughed and said they could fix the issue easily and put the nest thermostat back on, and this guy Sam simply doesn’t know what he’s doing or saying. I would avoid him, and hire a real professional. If you see negative reviews, I’d carefully pay attention to them. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review, but I had to do it due to how bad the experience was.
