  • À Deux Music Lessons North Carolina

    (18 reviews)

À Deux (or A2 Lessons) is a service that is devoted to bringing aspiring students together with qualified educators in their community. The teachers who work with us are generally independent instructors who use our service for the purpose of web marketing as well as for a form of security verification for students. The teachers who work with A2 are all background screened and go through a process similar to a job application as a quality check, ensuring that they are well qualified and able to meet the students' needs. The vast majority of the cost of lessons goes directly to the teacher and stays in your community! We enjoy bringing quality education to students, and we are confident that you'll enjoy the lessons with our qualified teachers. À Deux was founded by a small group of independent educators with some web marketing skills to help students find the best teachers in their community right away online with minimal effort searching around. We've since swelled our ranks with other teachers, joining as independent members/contractors. We benefit teachers who join us by helping them find students in their communities. We do so by granting teachers access to our centralized organization and marketing strategies. By pooling resources, teachers have more advertising leverage that will give them the exposure they need to make a decent living, doing what they love without wasting valuable time and money trying to figure out how to find students on their own. What we truly love is spreading knowledge, so the more new teachers, students, and communities we can get involved, the better it is for all of us. It is a goal of ours to benefit our teachers, students, and their communities by ensuring that lessons are affordable, that fair rates are paid, and that small businesses can thrive within their communities. Making this happen is what we truly enjoy.

I perform solo guitar works by celebrated composers from all over the world spanning 500 years. From bossa-nova to Bach, the versatile range of the guitar's repertoire can create the perfect ambience for the most memorable occasions. Whether performing as background music, as a featured artist, or anything in between, I'm happy to accommodate each client uniquely. Recent events include weddings, wine tastings, "cultural arts" events, dinner parties, receptions, featured concerts, and more. I also offer private lessons.

  • The Hernandez Conservatory of Music

    (4 reviews)

The Hernandez Conservatory of Music was founded in 2012 in order to provide high-quality musical instruction to students of all ages and backgrounds. One of the main focuses of The Conservatory was to be able to provide this instruction to the community at an affordable rate. We are the only studio that offers payment by lesson, instead of month or semester. Another goal for HCM was to bring instruction to the Hispanic Community. Many of our faculty members are bilingual and speak Spanish. They are able to easily communicate not only with students, but with parents as well. All of our Faculty hold degrees in the instrument that they teach and stay active within the musical community. Our 1,400 square foot office contains six teaching studios, a five foot grand piano, one spinet piano, one digital piano, a drum set, xylophone, concert snare, and two waiting areas. All of our instructors enjoy sharing their knowledge with their students as well as helping them grow musically!

  • On The Edge LLC

I have spent the last 40 years as a professional musician touring around the world with various artists. I have spent a lot of time learning to play, as well as the music theory that goes with it. As I have been teaching for some years now, I take the time to give each student the direction and instruction he/she may need to accomplish the goal they wish to achieve.

I am a 3rd year music student at UNCG, and I am looking for beginner-intermediate, high school or college prep students for flute. These lessons will be considerably cheaper than those offered by music stores and most teachers. The rates are $20 for an hour lesson, and $15 for a half-hour lesson. I have studied flute professionally for 10 years, and I play professionally for churches and various ensembles. I do have a required set of books that I will provide to you at our first lesson, and will cost about $15 at the student's expense. I will expect all students to participate in various music events such as all-county bands, all-district bands, young artists programs, etc. Music used for these events will be provided to the student at his or her expense, when necessary. Lessons are great for young students who are looking for a hobby; for high school students who are hoping to pursue music; or for music majors or college students who are looking for a little extra help with flute. If you are at all interested in learning more about my service, please do not hesitate to email me right away, as slots are filling up quickly. I am looking forward to working with anyone who is up to the challenge.
