We worked out a menu with Chef Tyler that sounded great with an emphasis on Italian. It was delicious as were the beautifully presented hors d’oeuvres. The Chef took extra time to make Grilled Figs with Proscuitto and Fried Squash Blossoms. A delight for my Dad. Just the sort of extra effort that made things special. Expectations exceeded. To make a Birthday Celebration unique and special I asked Chef Tyler to design a menu of small plates and to allow the guests, all family members, to hang around and watch. WOW – what a fun time we had. The food was amazing, each dish surpassing the previous one, and Chef Tyler was fully engaged in helping us follow what he was doing. Little tips like different marinades for different dishes, how to peel a mango, special high temperature oil for searing, and the list went on. He created several Chef’s Surprises like a demitasse cup of delicious broth and a special Italian anise cookie to accompany the home-made Spumoni that won us over. Hired Chef Jamarr for a dinner party for 11 for my wife’s birthday. Chef was responsive and really easy to coordinate with. He gave me a wide range of awesome menu options and we selected some great items including lamb, pork ravioli and lobster empanadas. He arrived on time, prepared, cooked and plated all the courses in our kitchen, served them and explained each one to the guests. Cleaned the kitchen and even washed a lot of the dinner dishes! To surprise my boyfriend on his 30th birthday I asked Chef Tyler for a really fun menu. High end ingredients, but prepared with special attention to detail. That’s what we got, as each dish was clearly specially prepared. Appetizers were unique and oh so yummy – we ate everything the team presented: Caramelized bacon, cold watermelon shooters, grilled okra, and grilled figs wrapped in prosciutto to name some. Then we retired to the beach for what was the most amazing main course. Tuscan style rib steak, prepared sous vide, and served over arugula with gorgonzola sauce. We felt like we were in Florence, Italy. So delicious, So elegant. Just what we had envisioned. Highly recommend Chef Tyler for any event!

I am SO glad I chose to hire Joya to be the private chef at my event. She cooked 5 meals for us + snacks all vegan. Not everyone at the event was vegan but everyone found ALL the meals delicious which was amazing.
