I haven't had to call a drain specialist before (I thought I would need a plumber, but our regular plumber said these jobs are best handled by drain cleaning companies like Zoom Drain). Despite the nature of their work, the crew showed up clean, in uniform, and on time. We had a nuisance clog that we had been ignoring.. up until the rest of the drains on our second floor also clogged and began overflowing on the bathroom floors. With 3 school age kids and 2 working adults, we needed help fast and the Zoom guys came out by lunchtime to fix the problem.. and even got the mess off our floors! Not only that, we paid less than we usually pay our plumber and handyman."See more

Great job by Eden. I hired Eden to install 4 bathroom faucets in my home and quickly learned that the previous numbskull plumber had given me poor advice on why he couldn't install them. Eden came on time and looked at one of the bath sinks and quickly told me changing out underlying plumbing was not necessary, and thats the kind of plumber one needs. Eden installed and tested all faucets and when he was done asked me to do the same Now that's professionalism!!! Great job Eden!

I hired Bicknell plumbing to install a new faucet in my kitchen sink. He told me it would be $200. After he finished the job he said it would be $280 because he had to remove the pipe from the garbage disposal. He did not mention this to me while doing the job. Since he installed the faucet I’ve had nothing but problems with it dripping and leaking. He came back and had an aggressive attitude about it. I don’t think he realizes how poor his bedside manner is. He claims in his profile it’s one of his strong suits. After having him in my house twice and read in other peoples reviews I disagree. My family and I wouldn’t want him in our house ever again. He is sloppy with his work and leaves messes and water everywhere. He sprayed water all over my counters and seemed offended when I offered him towels. All of our electronics and papers on the counters got wet. He left wet and dirty/rusty paper towels on the floor. A day after he was trying to figure out what went wrong with his install I realized he stripped the cold water valve under my sink and I had to have that repaired which cost me more money. Initially I had some sympathy for him because he seems to physically have limitations which makes it difficult for him to get up and down of the ground but it isn’t an excuse for his bad attitude and sloppy work. I’m not sure why thumbtack continues to give him business with all his negative reviews. One more thing. He assured me he was going to go to Lowe’s and get a new cartridge to stop the water leak. He has since disappeared. Either way I don’t want him touching another thing in my house because everything he touches just gets worse.
