I have been taking lessons with Michele, learning to play using the Simply Music method, for 3 months. From day 1, Michele's command of the instrument and the method was obvious. She's been very patient, helps by speeding up (or slowing down) based on my learning pace and displays a genuine interest in my progress. Also provides schedule flexibility - I would recommend to anyone with an interest in learning to play - and the method taught is making it easier than I thought.
After having self taught myself for over a decade on and off, I began lessons with Zach and learned many new things within the first lesson. Zach does a great job in getting to know what your goals are, and teaches in an easy to understand way. He's a pretty awesome dude too. :)
I took bass lessons from Cameron through a college class. In just one semester (one lesson a week) I learned a years worth of music theory. Cameron explained it in a way that made sense. I learned a lot in the time taking lessons. Also became more confident in my playing because I learned about scales and many other aspects that help with playing around on the frets. Cameron is a great teacher and I would recommend to anyone!
I have been taking piano lessons from Julie Guile (Noteworthy Music) for about two years now. I love her teaching style; she covers a more broad perspective of music besides just reading notes on a page. Our lessons are truly an artistic experience which have challenged me to learn genre' that I have never tried before. We also cover a balanced amount of both theory and application. Julie schedules recitals and field trips each quarter. We played Christmas Carols at Regency Mall in December; traveled to South Dakota to tour the National Music Museum in the Spring; and perform recitals in her home, where we get the chance to meet fellow students and their families. I also want to mention that during the first month of lessons, I performed in downtown Omaha for the general public during a "music around town initiative" - Various pianos were placed around the city for all to enjoy. Julie has amazing credentials. The fees are reasonable. Her grand piano is a joy to play. She's truly the best teacher in Omaha.
Dave is my daughter's piano teacher. He is patient. He explains things. He is on time for lessons. He is willing to spend extra time to help her understand the lesson and is willing to answer questions when she has them. Thanks Dave for all you do!
George is a very patient teacher who teaches at the pace of the student. One of the great things about his teaching style is that he has been open to helping my son with the outside material my son brings to his lessons. It is nice that George allows for the student to be part of his or her own learning. He is also open to answering any questions the student might have. I sit in on my son's lessons and have been very pleased with them and would recommend George for anyone who wants to learn the guitar.
Ms Jensin is a great piano teacher. I was impressed. My 5 year old son attended piano lessons at her studio for about 4 months. He really loves playing piano with Ms Jensin. I really like Ms. Jensin's teaching style. She definitely knows how to encourage kids to practice piano. If we didn't have to move to Seattle, we would love to have many more lessons with Ms. Jensin. I already recommended her outstanding service to all of my friends.
Amy is an excellent teacher. My 14 year old son has been taking lessons from her and she is very patient, knowledgeable, and has a relaxed teaching style. She had him reading music in just a couple of weeks and he is inspired to practice as well as go to his lessons. Amy gets 5 stars because there aren't 6. John Lupo Omaha, NE
Lisa was a caring and qualified teacher for my girls. She was thorough and professional in her teaching, but flexible with schedules and family needs. Her experience in music therapy bled into her regular lessons as she exhibited patience and skill with my children's individual needs. I felt more than comfortable having my children in her home each week for lessons. We were sad to see her go when her family moved out of the area.
We are excited to start piano lessons with her.
My step-daughter really likes her. She is excited for Rachel to come back. She is very professional and was right on time. She made payment very easy and affordable.
We signed up for 7 year old son for piano lesson's with Kayla. He had no knowledge or experience with piano coming in and Kayla has done a great job keeping his weekly lesson engaging and fun. Our son looks forward to his lesson weekly because of Kayla's fun and exciting teaching approach. Our daughter is already excited about starting when she's old enough.

I've recently finished my third-fall semester of college in which I am majoring in vocal music performance. I'm also fluent in reading music and playing piano and organ. Currently, I'm willing to teach voice, piano and organ (Hammond B3) for those interested. I also know how to play the tuba and the clarinet and would be willing to give those lessons a shot.
I teach guitar, bass, singing, songwriting and real-world theory in the most precise way to what you or someone you know wants to learn, while giving the student a taste of all other styles. I've had 100% success rate of satisfied students. Teaching is never what I wanted to do, but a new way of teaching occurred to me from real-world experience that made me rewrite how it's done. Music can be the most fun but yet deeply personal thing to express what's most important in life, and anyone who wants to can be great at it. Let's get started if your serious!
I am EXTREMELY flexible and will orient my lesson plan around my student's wants as well as making sure they learn the necessary components to play the instrument. Fun is a huge part of my lesson plan and I am just as fun as I am a good teacher! Just give me a shot and you will see.
Over 15 years of teaching experience with students ages 6-84, including children with special needs. (Autism, Turner's Syndrome, ADHD). Traditional lessons (1/2 hour every week) or just learn the song you've always wanted to be able to play.
I am a working student and my goal is to help teach younger musicians, passing on a piece of the legacy of music, and gain experience in this field of work. I enjoy working with students who are eager to learn. It also helps me out financially with my goals for college and my future.
I am a professional "entertainer" who is classically trained and experienced in all genres of music (except hip hop). I can boom chuck with the best of them and then play a Mozart Sonata- having respect for both. I teach technique in everything because that's what gives you wings to fly in any style. I am spontaneous in using metaphor and everyday life examples and apply them to your learning. It's fun.
