What do you love about your job?
I love seeing people believe in themselves, maybe for the very first time, because I have been 100 pounds overweight, lost it, and kept it off. My clients can see the possibilities. And I can better relate to the struggle. It is not easy to lose weight and keep it off. It's not easy to get to the gym when you don't want to. It's not easy to pass up the extra piece of dessert. But it is possible to do all those things anyway. I love showing people how.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I lost weight, I knew I wanted to help other people do it, too. It was my friend, Danno, who pushed me out of my comfort zone and kept after me to get it done. Eight years later, we have had a level of success and helped more people than I ever could have dreamed possible.
