Justice Gladys is a one woman army. If you want you wedding day to be special look no more. When we requested her to offciate our wedding she helped us with the venue and the food, She even sat with us for to customize the ceremony according to our story. We are from India and she was so creative that she very subtly did a fusion of Hindu and Christian marriage which each and every guest applauded as well. Jennifer was our day of coordinator for our May 30th, 2015 wedding. In the month leading up to the wedding she helped me stay focused and on task. She kept all the vendors in the loop and went above and beyond to make sure I was prepared for the most amazing day of my life. I do not know how I could have done it without her and Shannon. Planning a destination wedding in Newport, RI in 6 months while living hundreds of miles away, working full time, moving once cross-country, finding a new job, starting a new job, etc, etc, is no easy task, even with a wedding planner! With everything going on in my life, plus the short timeframe (the wedding date we selected was 6 months out from the day we secured the venue), and the fact that I am a perfectionist, I knew I was going to need help. I was lucky enough to come across SYB Event Planning while on Thumbtack. I interviewed a few companies and ended up selecting SYB because Soraya, the owner, and I really clicked while talking on the phone. While I wasn't necessarily looking for a cultural wedding, I knew she would understand some of the nuances with our families because my husband and I come from different cultural backgrounds. Soraya specializes in taking the time to understand different cultures and she goes out of her way to embed as much or as little as you want of you or your partner's culture into your wedding. I'm so glad I had Soraya for the entire wedding planning process and for the day of the wedding. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and totally exceeded my expectations (this is a perfectionist speaking...just for some perspective). I don't think that could have been possible without having Soraya helping along the way. She challenged me to think about things I would have never thought of and took care of all the details. She went above and beyond to make sure the wedding was as successful as it could be. She even drove over 90 miles each way to get us a cute favor that we really wanted for our guests...without hesitating! I didn't even ask her, but when she heard me talking about what I would like to do if the place was closer, she just jumped in and said she would take care of it. I'm so thankful for everything Soraya did to make our special day a success and would highly recommend her to anyone trying to plan a wedding.

From the moment we had contact with one another until the day of my wedding reception, Seas the Moment went above and beyond. The decor was beautiful. Her responses to my emails were immediate and her attention to detail was flawless. I feel like I have gained a friend. She listened to all of my requests and she also accommodated any last minute changes I made. I would give her a 10 out of 10 all day, everyday. Beth is an amazingly talented wedding planner and a true professional. We hired her as our day-of coordinator for a very much DIY wedding. We were in touch constantly during the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was always so responsive and on top of things - including creating a very detailed timeline and staying in touch with our many vendors. The day was just flawless, thanks to Beth. Kelly did the day of coordination for my wedding, and all the pre-work to prepare for the day. She helped find additional staff, suggest vendors, and essentially anything I asked of her. Kelly was truly amazing and saved my wedding in so many ways! From the moment I hired Kelly, she gave me peace of mind and assurance that everything will be perfect. There is a lot of effort and coordination that goes into making a wedding, Kelly was right there with me along the way. As somebody who has orchestrated many events, she gave thoughtful suggestions to ensure my event was planned perfectly. She was always in contact, answered all my emails promptly, and calmed every worry and question I had prior to my wedding. She went over my plan and wishes in great detail to ensure she knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted everything. The day of she was a wedding saver. I got everything I planned executed as requested and the event ran without any issues (at least none I was award of), Kelly did that great of a job. I spent my wedding day dancing, enjoying the wedding I dreamed of, and visiting my family and friends, while Kelly worked extremely hard to ensure everything went as planned. She did an outstanding job and my wedding day was beyond my expectations. Gathered Table catered a wedding in my home of 30 adults and some kids. Mary was wonderful to work with - they accommodated a very short timeline and she was wonderful about the menu and allowing me plenty of time for modifications and changes. She was laid back and relaxed, which helped ease my anxiety. The group was half Brazilian and half American, so they also made both Brazilian and American specialties. The food was awesome! They were extremely reliable and showed up with the right number of staff members to service the crowd well. The only negative was that we asked for leftover food to be left with us since we paid for it, but my guests saw them leaving with a lot of the food they brought in. Perhaps we ate most of the food and didn't really have leftovers, however this was not communicated with me or with my sister, who was communicating directly with them when I was not able to. My only suggestion would be to clarify this upfront. Late night when there were only 10 of us left having fun, we would have loved to dig in for more food!
My fiancee and I had one simple request to keep our wedding planning and wedding day stress free. Amanda has more than exceeded our expectations. She saved us a lot of money, providing props, design recommendations, averted so many foreseeable crises months before the wedding started. She was flexible with my family's needs, and collaborated with my in-laws in wedding preparations. She ended every call with "Let me know if you can think of anything else you need..." She missed our rehearsal dinner after our rather awful florist messed up our flowers last minute. Amanda was almost like a part of our family, honoring both my needs and my family's, finding peaceful solutions where she could. The wedding turned was like a fairytale. For someone as laidback and almost absent in my wedding planning, Amanda stepped up and turned what I thought was going to be a beautiful day into an extraordinary experience for me and my now husband! To whom this may concern, I recently had the pleasure of having the assistance of "Julia's Having A Party" plan a special event for an member of my family. As we all know there are many different parts that come along with planning an event. "Julia's Having A party" made every aspect of planning simple and very easy. The staff was wonderfully accommodating, the recommendations of decorations could not have been more appropriate. Apart from that, The food was delicious. We had a variety of choices to pick from. All of which had the presentation of a fine dining Resturant. Lastly, As this event was in my home, I was skeptical of the idea of a "party planner" but pleasantly surprised. I got to spend time enjoying my guest worry free. Over all "Julia's Having A party" created not just a wonderful evening but a memorable experience.
I hired MDB Hospitality to provide bartending services for my holiday party. They did a very good job mixing drinks, and bringing positivity, enthusiasm, and humor to the party. I would (and will) absolutely hire them again in the future.

We just had a beautiful and fabulous event and all credits go to Rohini from marigold. We couldn't have done it without the guidance and planning of Marigold. It was a well put together event and and completely stress free for us. We were able to enjoy our event because Rohini planned/designed it well and took care of everything thing for us. Marigold worked very well with us and kept everything we wanted in mind while executing the event. Maigold made sure that all my ideas were made reality and gave me a beautifully coordinated event. One thing what I really liked is that, first and foremost Rohini designed the whole event and created a plan right after our first meeting. And there after everything was done in a planned and timely fashion. Rohini has great ideas and is very creative. I wouldn't have thought of these ideas in a million years. Marigold took care of budgeting, planning, designing, decorations, flowers, shopping, program, entertainment, timing, and all the other arrangements. We got better and good prices from all the vendors she had linked us with. Another thing that I really liked about Rohini was that she was calm and happy at all times and kept a positive energy all the time. We had time constraints and very busy schedules, so having Marigold on board was a great decision and big relief. Marigold worked very hard for my event and I am truly thankful and highly recommend Marigold. I am so glad I hired Marigold.
