Iryna has taught me piano for ten years. I really enjoyed piano lessons with Iryna because her lessons are fun, and interesting. Iryna is a professional piano teacher who is passionate about piano and her students. She cares about her students' success and piano progress.
Private Piano Lessons: Friendly, knowledgeable and nurturing. Kristen Ledson makes learning enjoyable and satisfying. I would recommend her strongly.
Jeff Kazukiewicz has been teaching my son and two daughters piano and violin for about 4 years. One could not ask for a better music teacher. Jeff has a great passion for making music and attention-to-detail - other string teachers have commented on my daughter's form which she learned from Jeff. My son's classical piano has gone through the roof where he is now playing full-length sonatas and other concert-level pieces with excellent musicianship for his age. Not only has he inspired them, he also treats them with the utmost dignity and respect - he knows them, and can sense how hard to push without pushing them over the edge. My kids love practising and having their lessons with Jeff and he is a major contributor to their success, and his prices are very reasonable.
From the moment I met Bethany, I knew it was a match made in heaven. I had never sung for anyone outside my immediate family and friends, so I was very nervous. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and before I knew it, I was knee deep in my first voice lesson and loving it. I had so much fun and learned a lot that I didn't know in just one half-hour lesson. I look forward to many more voice lessons with Bethany and signed up for the next month already. She has great communication, honesty and a wonderful spirit. So happy I chose to take lessons with her!
My 10 year old daughter just completed a year of piano lessons with Hannah. I was extremely pleased with her progress over the past year. Hannah was also great accomodating our schedules when we needed to change days. I would definitely recommend her!!
Michael Joseph was a piano instructor at my university. I took lessons with him because he was recommended by one of my friends. In two semesters, I went from barely knowing where keys were, to playing one of my favorite songs. Prof. Joseph helped me be more patient with myself, and tackled those areas I needed to improve. He is very passionate about what he does, and very knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend Michael as an instructor.
just what we'd hoped to find. Josh is professional and flexible, passionate about his work and he passes that love of music on in his lessons.
Our son started piano lessons with Robin at 5.5 years old. When choosing a teacher my main concern was finding a teacher who could provide a positive and encouraging method to motivate a young learner, not baby him, and not be so strict that he was scared or turned off from music. After 6 months of weekly practice, I have discovered that Robin not only met the goals, but has far exceeded them. The lessons are strict, which is necessary, with a little guy, but in a very positive light. Robin is joyful in her methods. You can tell she really enjoys teaching. And it shows with our sons new ability. He is already playing songs that include sharps, multiple hand movements, and songs with eighth notes, all while singing in pitch. (Added bonus). I was thinking he'd be at twinkle twinkle little star. Instead he is the little star. Our son has said, thank you for bringing me to piano lessons Daddy. I really like Mrs Robin as teacher. The best part of this process is the community Robin has built in her home and out. There is no better method for learning a musical instrument, than to perform. There are regular performances and twice a year recitals. This positive interaction with other students and families I don't think is very common with piano teachers. Even though I am not taking lessons, Robin has even given me some direct help in preparation for my own piano performances. I would recommend Robins Music Studio to anyone committed to learn. Thanks Thumbtack for helping me find a gem.
Yvonne is a wonderful and patient piano teacher who taught piano to my daughters through high school graduation. They looked forward to going to piano lessons each week. Even though I heard them practice often, I was always amazed at how much they progressed at each recital. I highly recommend Yvonne as a Piano teacher!
Jacque is the best. End. Of. Story. She knows the anatomy of singing. I can recall being impressed from the first phone call when i placed my first lesson. She was confident and i could tell she knew her trade. I was right. She has been dead-on-accurate with predicting how soon I'd progress and what i could expect. I lived an hour from her when we started lessons. The drive was worth it! If you want to get better at singing and understanding yourself, go with Jacque. You won't regret it. Oh and I've made huge gains. I'm still with her because one never stops growing. It's been 10 years. I've never regretted one lesson. Ok maybe the one i couldn't make when i was sick but that's it!
Tom is hands down the best piano teacher I've ever had. He's passionate, patient and works at the pace that I'm comfortable with. He pushes me to be better while ensuring that I'm learning at the pace that I've dictated, so I don't feel overwhelmed or lose my desire to learn. I highly recommend him!
I teach beginning piano and musicianship to students ten and up. I have been an adjunct professor at UMass Lowell for three years, where I currently teach musicianship and analysis. I have also taught undergraduate courses in intro to keyboard, music theory, and aural skills; as well as high-school band-camp intro to piano. I approach my students' unique desires and capabilities with great care, and model my expectations on theirs. As a composer (PhD University of Oregon, 2009), I frequently write original piano solos for all levels, often based on a particular student's needs. I also use scale/exercise/method books. If you're within a 15-minute walk from the Tsongas Center, I can come to your home. Otherwise, I teach in my apartment. Parents are more than welcome to sit in on lessons. My schedule is flexible, and includes some mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. My competitive rates are $35 per hour, $20 for a half hour or less. Check Craigslist for my ad also.
I give 30-minute lessons for beginners and intermediate students at my home, for youth and adults. I have been teaching for 15 years now.
I am willing to work with children 16 and under in helping them explore a love for music. I will teach them the basic scale/notes, chord structure/progression, and playing with both hands.
I provide private piano lessons for ages eight to adult. I also do weddings, private parties, and funerals. I also offer audition preparation and digital rehearsal recordings. I don't teach guitar!
I really listen to my students so each lesson is customized for the individual student. It's important to understand what their goals are for practicing and learning. My goal is also to teach how to practice efficiently at each lesson to ensure noticeable progress. I make it a priority to ensure their success and encourage them enjoy the process of learning. I am also considerate of your need to be able to reschedule for personal reasons.

I provide individual classes in Russian methodology. I have experience of playing violin and piano for more than 45 years.
I want my students to enjoy music, and explore their interests and strengths. I am not rigid or stuck to a particular method book, because each person is different and unique. I also travel to my students' homes, which makes your life that much easier!
