I start working with Pariis and Dewane @ golden touch Fitness after I saw there amazing reviews on thumbtack , so far i lost over 26 lb in 4 month , Monday and Wednesday i do strength training with and Friday kickboxing with pariis , Dewayne also design a workout program for me and my fiancé to do on the weekends, I highly recommend golden touch fitness trainers Dewayne and Pariis to anyone who is looking for a trainer

I have seen a fair share of personal trainers, and they all made me feel awkward and not willing to come back, except for Rhonda! Working with her was an amazing experience. Her workouts are challenging and fun, she is always punctual and upbeat, and she is very attentive to any problem areas you might have, adjusting the routines accordingly. For the longest time I have been an avid runner and managed to keep my weight down without a gym or trainer. After experiencing shin pain and neglecting my upper body I sought out a trainer. After a 'functional movement assessment' I was prescribed exercises to correct imbalances from chronic running and it has helped me alleviate my shin splints and increase my upper body strength which even relieved my carpal tunnel pains. BONUS: boxing workouts & yoga!!
Serge has been training me following the birth of my son, and my body has bounced back in HUGE part to him. I have done many workouts in NYC and worked with many trainers-- these past experiences can be good initially but frequently lead to stale workouts and a plateau of results. Serge always keeps if fun, new, fresh, and my body is always changing. I have seen great physical results, but also improvements in my overall athleticism, endurance, and strength which is essential when caring for an infant. He gives great pointers on nutrition, hydration, and overall ways of caring for your health and physical well-being. Even more importantly, Serge has a great personality and strikes the appropriate balance between being supportive but firm in pushing for more out of his clients to get the results they ultimately want.
Katie is an amazing fitness trainer, and even on my first session with her, I felt a huge difference in my body and felt like I could really achieve my fitness goals. Katie is patient but assertive when you need that extra kick, and she really has a good intuition for what your body needs. I would never hesitate in recommending her to anyone who needs a great workout and the best fitness results!
Carlos is the secret, the real deal. At first I was hesitant about paying for a trainer. I thought I knew it all about exercise being fairly athletic. I also thought that only celebrities had personal trainers and paid dearly for them until I met Carlos. I didnt just get a fitness trainer I have an accessible counselor that guides me in exercise, nutrition, and everyday conditioning. When I travel he sends me exercise regimes for the hotel gym and constantly advises me on dieting and working out. As far as results: Ive lost 52 lbs. and have great energy. Carlos is the real deal. If you dont believe it, just ask me.

Andre Tosado has helped me alot. I came to him looking for personal training. He is alway helpful, very kind, but at the same time will push you to do your best and push past your limits. Incredible, the only word that comes to mind. Been working with Brandon for almost 4 months now & it's the longest that I have worked out in over 30 years! I was reluctant in the beginning partly because of my age, 57 & the other part thinking I could do it on my own. Mistake on both counts. in our initial meeting Brandon explained that he tailors the work-out to the individual. he's worked with clients much older than me and in worse shape although not many in that department. I was afraid of being too sore, too tired, to embarrassed and countless other excuses. I,m glad my wife gave me the nudge I needed to get started. after interviewing several trainers on Thumbtack I decided to go with Brandon's free no obligation evaluation. He came over and we did a couple of exercises to see how pitiful I really was. but it was mostly talking. It was then that I made the decision to hire him to be my personal trainer. i have been training with Brenda for 9 months now and she is great! Before Brenda, I did have a very good trainer in another city but then I moved to NYC, so I knew what the standard was for someone who would push you but also understand your personal needs and tailor the workout to make sure you are satisfied. I used Thumbtack to find a trainer and read positive reviews about Brenda and decided to give it a try--she has lived up to all expectations. Her schedule is flexible so she can meet you when and where is best for you (some trainers' schedules are too packed and if you're 5 minutes late, they take 5 min off the end of your session, or do not let you reschedule a session without giving you a hard time). She tailors the workouts so if you want to do something on a particular day or are feeling a bit sore in one area, she will work around that but still make sure you are getting an intense workout. Brenda is friendly and personable to talk to and will advise you on anything from nutrition to specific workout regimens to improve a muscle group. It's important to find a trainer who you really get along with and feel comfortable around, and I have found it very easy to work with Brenda. I'm 100% satisfied--highly recommended!
These people are amazing. Great trainers. I wanted a workout that would really kick my butt. Wake me up and show me something new. We did this routine that had me guessing and engaged the whole time. Never once did I feel bored. And boy did it burn. Sharma is great and very knowledgeable in fitness and more importantly with the diet. He gave me many recommendations to tweak my diet so I can finally lean up and get the 6 pack. I would highly recommend him
Kevin is truly a ' best in world' trainer. I can't say enough about Kevin but please read this and hopefully you'll have a better idea of how he has changed my life on a very personal level. I have severe health issues and take lots of medicine. My doctors told me i need to work out with someone who can handle the complexities of my case to build bone density and I was lucky enough to find Kevin. He is like a personal trainer, chiro, physical therapist and friend all wrapped up on one. He is so committed to helping me have the best quality of life and so well versed on many things I trust him implicitly and consider him part of the core team working to make me better. I've had the oppty to work with trainers in many states who were all supposedly the best and can say that Kevin is in a league of his own. He is so creative and comes up with a different ways to challenge me, make it fun, change it up, incorporate things to help build core and posture overall and bring things into the mix like boxing that he knows I really like. I truly look forward to our sessions and always feel better afterwards, it's been great to see the progress and my doctors are thrilled that I was so lucky to find him- he has blown away any expectations. Whether you have health challenges or are training for the army or wanna look good for your wedding or the summer bathing suit season Kevin will not only help you achieve your goals but will quickly become part of your way of life. I can't say enough about Kevin and his dedication, expertise, continual desire to learn more ways to help and just being a cool guy and easy to laugh with-if you are lucky enough like me to work with Kevin you should jump at the oppty! Ed is the man! What else can I say? My wife and I were looking for a trainer who could address our personal fitness goals leading up to our wedding. With a 3-month window, Ed was able to evaluate each of our individual needs effectively and construct workout programs that he trained us on, simultaneously. We are extremely pleased with our results. Ed's program not only helped us reach our goal, but has really set us up for long term success with our physical fitness. We'll be continuing our training with him for a while I think.
I would highly recommend Chris as a trainer. Around a year ago I decided to get a trainer to work on strength and improve my workouts. I've been training with him since then. He keeps the workouts interesting and challenging, pushing me to get outside of my comfort zone, within reason. Chris gives me feedback on form and technique, and does it in a constructive way. Great to have him as my trainer!
Carmen was a fantastic trainer and gym mentor. I was the type of gym member that had my three machines that I stuck to because of convenience, not knowing what to use for my body, and I was simply intimidated. Carmen not only educated me on how to get fit and the machines to use but she built my confidence at the gym. I am very grateful for her giving me the right tools and that extra push. If you want a trainer that is more than just a coach ... she is your girl!

Kirsten has a high energy level that really helped me complete the workouts and my personal goals. She is one of the few trainers I know who actually lives what she teaches. Kirsten's knowledge of numerous styles of physical training and yoga keeps her sessions anything but routine.
Carl Replied immediately to my request for a trainer on Thumbtack. Within minutes we were communicating about his background and experience. He asked me what I was looking to get out of one on one training. 10 minutes later, an appointment was scheduled for several days later and we have been training together ever since.
The workouts are well designed and customized to each ones ability . He will push you as long you are willing to break the barrier . things he will teach you in the workouts - importance of negatives in doing weight training and importance of core strength and bringing in stability of the body . Most importantly loosening of the tissues and muscles which many trainers tend to ignore. Definetely he is an 9.25 out of 10.
