Unlike the other companies, they did not come out for an in-home estimate, which made me hesitate at first. However, their initial message was actually very clear and detailed. They explained that water softener installations start at $425, which includes flex lines, rebuilding the water softener loop as needed to make the connection, and also comes with a 1-year workmanship warranty. Everything was clearly stated upfront, which I appreciated more after comparing it with other companies. The other three companies did come to my home, but most of their visits felt more like sales presentations for their own water softener systems rather than focusing on the installation itself. Their quotes ranged from around $600 to nearly $1,000 for a fairly straightforward job, and I didn’t feel fully confident in any of them. I decided to contact Smith’s again after reading many positive reviews, and I’m very glad I did. Nick Smith was extremely honest, professional, and easy to communicate with. He clearly explained the installation process and pricing, without any pressure or upselling. The installation itself was excellent. Nick carefully checked the laundry room drain and bathroom water flow to ensure everything was working properly. The job was done efficiently, and the entire work area was left spotless, with all packaging and debris completely removed. He also took the time to give helpful advice on how to maintain the water softener, including what type of salt to use, which was very useful as a first-time user. The quality of the work was outstanding, and the entire experience felt trustworthy and professional from start to finish. After a past experience where an estimate almost doubled, I especially value honesty and transparency—and Nick and Smith’s Plumbing Services absolutely delivered that. Mark C. says, "These guys went above and beyond to diagnose my water leak . I assumed it was my main waterline which would’ve been costly repair itself but would not have fixed my problem. It was a slab leak and these guys found it. They did not charge for my diagnosis even though it took about an hr. I have not decided how to proceed yet but definitely consider calling them back to do the repair . I will update further if they do. Highly recommend."See more

This company came by same day, still install and haul away for 3k. I’ve learned as a real estate investor a lot of these companies are over charging because they think people do not know any better. Go with a trusted company who has your best interest and not their bottom line interests"See more
