Mr. Alfaro recommended, very knowledgeably, computers, router,
wireless printer and cell phone communication equipment as well as
iPads for my law office. He asked us a lot of questions to really
understand our needs and to keep our costs down and within budget.
A big part of the work included the setup of a secure wireless
network. He configured the wireless (WiFi) security for all laptops,
iPads and iPhones as well as other miscellaneous devices. He added
the ability to print with the laptops, the iPads and iPhones to the HP
MultiFunction device (Printer and scanner) via the wireless network as
well as scan with the wireless network (no cables). We can even print
while we are not in the office! He also trained the staff on how to
maintain the equipment in good working order.
He installed office software, updated Windows (the operating system in
the laptops) and the Mac Laptop as well as the iOS devices. He
recommended anti-virus software which he also configured in the
Windows laptops. Over the past few years we had to call him for
service because some employees either installed software incorrectly
or installed the wrong software which made the computer really slow.
In most cases it was a configuration issue and others he suggested
getting different software to address the need at hand.
After the first week of our getting used to our new setup, the
equipment has worked flawlessly.
The time was reasonable. About 3 days to get all the equipment
delivered (because one computer could not be delivered earlier) after
a few hours of consultations. He was able to set up everything within
a few hours of delivery. His prices were reasonable. I had spoken to
other individuals regarding the matter and I believed it would be an
expensive process. As I mentioned before, Mr. Alfaro helped us keep
our costs within our budget.
I am not a technically advanced person but Mr. Alfaro explained
everything he was going to do in a clear manner. I am very satisfied
my equipment is working reliably.
