Working with Katia was an a great experience. I haven't worked with a personal trainer in over a decade and even back then it was short-lived. Katia was knowledgeable, and amicable with a great disposition. She asks you all the right questions and takes the time to get to know you as a person and also allows you to get to know her. Most importantly she carefully measures your abilities as you first get started so she can really work out a plan that best suits you. That said, she works you hard but she works you smart. Highly recommend!
Ian is a true professional! Always working with me to train around my busy schedule. He is very structured and dedicated to people's time. His follow up skills and care to your plan is what we all look for in personal trainers. During my sessions he is motivational and committed to my goals. Gil is excellent and although willing to adapt the workout to what you want, it is always an intense workout, which I love. I didn't like the previous gym he was at but stayed only because of his personal training. I just joined the new gym that he works at and am glad he changed because he picked a gym that I really. But I joined mainly to be able to continue training with Gil. He recently introduced his partner Trini to the programme and she is also a very versatile trainer who knows her stuff and gives intense workouts. I highly recommend both of them and together they are a powerhouse team. I also appreciate that they both go beyond the exercise classes to take a personal interest in nutrition and give advise.
Brian is an excellent personal trainer and massage therapist. He is very knowledgeable and truly cares about your well being. He designs your program according to your needs and goals. I highly recommend him, he will be a great asset to your health.
Initial consult went wonderfully well, had a chance to watch her work with someone else and then we discussed my needs and I was very satified with the plan going forward. She's very personable and easy talk to and I found that to be a major plus. Will start actual personal training in a few weeks.
I wanted a Personal Trainer that I could click with and someone who would push me at the same time. Chris is everything I was looking for he keeps me motivation going and always has something in his bag if I am having issues with an exercise due to my injuries. You ever gone to a commercial gym and seen some personal trainers who look like they haven't worked out a day in their lives? Do you really want someone like that training you? Well, Izzy is not only in excellent shape himself, but he also has a no-nonsense approach to fitness that he passes onto his clients. I've had the most success gaining strength with the compound exercises that he prescribes. Very energy-intensive, but they also yield the best results! Izzy is very patient and motivating and I can tell that he wants me to succeed, even if I'm not having the best day. I'd like to thank him for reforming my entire workout routine for the better!
Wes is a GREAT trainer...and I’ve had a few, so I know. He’s friendly, punctual, responsive and really knows how to train and motivate you. He watches you throughout your sessions and adjusts as needed. He talks to you throughout, both about your workout, but also creates a fun atmosphere with good conversation so you’re not bored. He’s just an overall nice guy who is worth his weight in gold. Thank you, Wes, for a quality experience.
Three months ago, I contacted the local personal trainer community via Thumbtack with a loosely formed goal of achieving ... vanity. I am your usual customer wishing to "tone down". What I achieved in my three months with Mike is much more measurable. One exercise I was never able to achieve was running. While I had the interest, my endurance failed me. Since joining h.o.w., I can easily run over 2+ miles, which may not sound like much, but starting from zero to an easy 2 mile sprint is an achievement. I am now training toward a one leg squat. Try it, I dare you!

There are trainers and there are TRAINERS. Stefan at Discipline Training Studio is a true TRAINER. I don't know of another trainer that takes such a personal interest in determining the right program for each client. The ability of each person is different, so maximizing their performance is Stefan specialty. When I started with his program, Stefan told me he was going to give me back my youth, now 8 years later and 70 years old, no truer words were ever spoken. It's never to late to start.
Bonnie has been my personal trainer for more than a year. Her strength is in her ability to tailor a workout to any level of fitness. I have a mild disability that affects my balance and range of motion. Bonnie has me do exercises spefically geared toward my goals of improving balance, strength and range of motion. I look forward to continuing to work with her.
Tim Johnson is an excellent trainer! I started training with him one month ago and have already lost 7 pounds and 4 inches. His exercises are made to target every part of the body with very noticeable results. Workout sessions are powerful, but without the physical torture one imagines is needed to achieve a fit/toned body. Not only is Tim an excellent personal trainer, but a very kind and respectful person. He is flexible with hours, which is great if you have a busy lifestyle, and is willing to come to you for sessions.
