I took a course called the Art of Fitness at NYU and Maik Wiedenbach was my teacher. I took this course because I had had too many mediocre trainers in NY and I felt so bombarded by trendy diets and training fads that the fitness industry left me feeling lost and confused. Maik's course was so enlightening, he thought me so much about fitness and nutrition. I was really impressed by his knowledge and his ease and ability to teach it to the students. I was so glad to learn he was also a personal trainer and taking new clients. I've been training with Maik and his team for 4 months and I've been even more impressed. Despite all the knowledge and experience that alone would set him above all the rest, he also possesses the most important attribute that makes him a great trainer: he truly cares to see you succeed. If you're ready to do your part and put in the work, whatever shape you are in when you first meet with him, he can guide you to achieve your goals. And for those who don't like the gym, good news! He also makes it fun and the session is over before you know it!

Evis Bejko was my trainer for a little over a year. With him I would do Warrior Fitness and a little Muay Thai. His methods are very effective and just after 6 months my body was all altered. I had better stamina, and my muscles were much better defined. Also I had no more joint pain. Also, he would come up with new techniques and exercises quite often. I would recommend anyone to work with Evis.
I have been a member of a gym for over 20 years, hard to believe! In all the years of working with weights Mackens was the first trainer to come over and give me advice on correcting my form. I never thought of working with a trainer until then and decided to purchase a session or 2 so he could show me how to use the machines and weights correctly. I have now been a client of his for 6 months! The results I have achieved with Mackens are largely due to his training methods, challenging exercise programs, and achievable goal setting. His professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiastic commitment to his work provide the perfect scenario for success! He has a sunny attitude, passion for what he does, as well as a treasure trove of nutritional and fitness knowledge. In my opinion, he is the standard by which all trainers should be measured. He motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results. He is serious about his work but, at the same time, personable and kind hearted. He has no shortage of acronyms that he likes to throw out at you such as, this isnt your first rodeo, piece of cake, or suck it up buttercup. I now have incredible energy, my balance and flexibility have improved, and I've got great new muscles! Training at NBI fitness with Gilbert has been a remarkable experience. He listens to your goal settings & customizes a specific workout criteria based on your goals, abilities and timing. I have been training with him for only 3 weeks and we had a very aggressive plan based on an upcoming event I have in a couple of months. I have dropped 15lbs already thru diet, discipline and exercise in less than a month. I couldn't have done it without his training. If you are looking for results , I would highly recommend. Beth
My husband and I have been training with Rob for the past few months. My husband who was very skeptical of having a personal trainer at first now loves our training sessions with Rob. He does an amazing job working with us both in our sessions, and teaching us workouts we can also do on our own time. I know that we would never have achieved the level of fitness and wellness without his personal attention given in our training sessions. Rob is always very encouraging and has a vast knowledge of his profession. I would recommend Rob in a heartbeat if you are looking for great personal trainer. I aim to continue to train and maintain a good level of fitness with his help for a long time to come.
My experience with Jordan was definitely a positive one! He is both a wonderful personal trainer and a very decent human being. Instead of just pushing his own agenda he actually paid attention to my needs as a client. He was able to meet me at the level that I was at, each session, and adjust accordingly. This provided me with the motivation to continue to show up and work toward my fitness and health goals.
I initially trained with Chris when I was getting back into training. As an Exercise Science graduate, I stubbornly assumed I knew enough to put myself through a personalized program. I did have substantial exercise knowledge, but I had absolutely no motivation. So I appreciated Chris for his constant efforts to keep me engaged and motivated. What he prescribed for me was realistic and reachable. Never was there a bad work out, in fact they were quite therapeutic. Chris understands this is a lifestyle change that you take on slowly but confidently. Knowing each week you'll see progress in all areas of your fitness. I'd recommend him to anyone.
Mr. Jerris is a qualified, responsible, and outstanding trainer. He is thorough in ensuring that the training sessions are a combination of fitness, mechanics, and flexibility. He is always on time. He is always positive and has a well planned routine. The sessions always go by rapidly. He even is available by Skype when I need to travel. You cannot get a better service provider.
I have done private yoga sessions with Erica Straub, and love them. I've always been active and an athlete (and recently done a lot of dance). I find it hard to find teachers that impress me for any activity -- not intentional, but I am a tough critic. That said, Erica is amazing. My yoga sessions with her were some of my favorites ever. I loved her focus on the hips (even more so than other yoga classes), the athleticism required throughout, and her approach. (Not to mention, good music selection too!). She started with poses that weren't traditional lead-ins for a yoga session, and it helped open my body up literally and figuratively. Each time I did a session with her, I felt 100% better than when I started and had lasting benefits on my flexible, strength and state of mind. I highly recommend her!
Kelly is amazing. I am overweight and the thought of working with a trainer was pretty intimidating but Kelly is so encouraging and good at what she does. She pushes me harder than I would ever push myself, which is what I pay her for, right?! It's never boring with Kelly, she is knowledgeable and changes it up frequently. She has a passion for health and fitness and it shows in her work. I have learned if she is asking me to do something, I am capable of doing it even if I don't believe I can.
I am not only happy to call Elizabeth my trainer, but I am also happy to call her my friend. She has brought me back to health from a serious neck surgery that I had in 2012. She brings motivation and fun into each workout. She is always encouraging and compassionate when I am being too hard on myself. I consider it a privilege to be able to work with someone that is one of the most knowledgeable people in her field. I would highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone looking for a healthy life change!!!!

Will is a phenomenal trainer and I can't say enough good things. I'm a few months in now and the whole experience has been great. At the beginning we set forth no-nonsense goals and expectations. Then he set up sessions and the workouts are no joke. He keeps you motivated and won't let you slack off. The diet advice and communication with him between workouts keep you honest. I have a very busy schedule and he's always flexible and reliable. The results in health, fitness, and weight loss are noticeable quickly. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get into better shape, but needs some guidance and motivation in moving forward.
MIKE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. He is literally the best trainer I have ever had in my life. He has helped me gain so much confidence in fitness ability. He has taught me how to defend myself and become a stronger and more fit individual. Mike has help me grown so much as a person because he honestly helps me out with every aspect of my life.
