I've been out of school for a couple years and needed to prepare again to take GMAT. Couldn't be happier when I found Arbor Tutors. Superb support with excellent tutors. I can't recommend them enough!

When we started preparing for the TACHS and the high school admissions process, we really were directionless about where to apply, what to look for in a school, what the TACHS was all about, or how to even go about preparing for it. Jeremy walked us through the process, worked patiently with our son, directed us to resources to reinforce the material, and gave him the confidence and he needed to be able to walk out of the test feeling like he aced it. Furthermore, Jeremy was professional, easy to work with, and his enthusiasm for helping kids achieve their maximum potential makes the difference between a good tutor and a great tutor.

Our daughter worked with James directly for several months prior to taking the June ACT and as a result of the lessons including one-on-one sessions and follow-up work, her score jumped 10 points! I highly recommend James and his team!!!!

My son is an honor student whose sights are on college. We took an extended trip out of the country last term that was a once in a lifetime opportunity we couldn’t pass up. All grades re-bounded but the Math grade got hit hard. With VERY little time to raise his now failing grade back to his A, we found Aron. We’re so happy we did! He was EXTREMELY willing to work with my son’s busy extra curricular schedule, and made himself available for extended lessons; as there was so much to go over in a short amount of time. Thanks to Aron, my son was able to recover an A-. That’s pretty remarkable! He’s knowledgeable, flexible, professional, and the best tutor we’ve found to date! We’d highly recommend him! Couldn’t be happier.

My 4-year-old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Dillon for several months. He is devoted to making sure that my daughter is engaged in her lessons and learns both technique and theory. Even before working with us, Dillon recommended the right type of keyboard and piano workbook to purchase. He is very patient and dedicates a great amount of effort to instructing our daughter (and two of her 4-year-old friends). He is firm and keeps her focused (but not too firm that he intimidates her). Finally this week, my daughter went to her room and practiced by herself and is now able to play "Old MacDonald". Yay for Dillon!

One of the best tutors my daughter ever had. She struggled with the sat for a year until we found him. He made lessons around her needs and that helped her do well. She was able to get into the college she wanted.

Robert teaches Italian lessons. I am a terrible student frequently confusing my High School French with what Robert patiently teaches me. He is good humored, well prepared and pushes me along just enough. I am never frustrated but always encouraged. Robert always is smiling and I never feel silly with my pronunciation. Robert really is a great teacher. I wish I had met him years ago before my first trip to Italy. I look forward to my lessons all week. Bravo Robert!!!!

Student Information: • Current senior in high school. • Received tutoring in Calculus (currently taking AP Calculus BC). Tutor was very thorough. He made sure I had a strong pre-calc/calc foundation established before he moved onto more difficult topics. He continually reinforced previous lessons and connected them to new lessons. He not only taught lessons but also gave problem-solving strategies for problems in past AP tests. In my opinion, Mr. Siegerman is a very experienced and intelligent tutor.

I really like working with Bina because she customizes her approach and lesson plans based on my need and my weakness. Bina provides materials and homework prior to each class, which is great because it forces me to study more! I also have a crazy schedule, and Bina has been very kind, accommodating my ever-changing schedule.

Stacy was AMAZING when she worked with my daughter, Clementine, when we were worried about her reading ( and writing ). We came to Stacy when my daughter was in 2nd grade, and I am so HAPPY with the results!!!!!!! Clementine LOVES to read. She became a kid who could not put down a book! And she became an incredible test taker, with top scores, I don't mean to brag, it is just here is a kid who we were WORRIED about... I must say, Stacy gives a lot of homework, that focuses in on the mechanics of reading, and we had our daughter do it. And, I think that really helped. Clementine progressed so quickly, with Stacy. I am VERY Pro---the Orton Gillingham technique. Long ago, when I was a kid, in the 70's, I did not know how to read, and unfortunately I fell through the cracks with methods that did not work for me. But, finally in 4th grade, I got an Orton Gillingham tutor, and I did miraculously, with this technique . I was a struggling kid, academically, who then went on to do really well in high school, and went to a really great college (Oberlin), and then Graduate School (NYU). I don't mean to brag, but my point is, I believe in this technique, and Stacy is FANTASTIC !!! She is the best....worth every penny, but have your kid do the homework.

I've been a student of Mr. Frost's since I took his Chinese class in middle school. After the class, I reached out to him to help me become a better trumpet player. I have not just become a better trumpet player, but also a better musician. He showed me how to explore dynamic range, develop my tone, and read behind the notes of a musical composition. Most importantly, he gave me the tools to work on becoming a better musician on my own. Now I play for the MIT Concert Band and in the pit for the school's musicals. Thanks Mr. Frost for being the best teacher one could ask for!

Sandy is a great tutor. The moment I walked into her working space we felt (my family & I) welcomed by Sandy with a great warm smile. I automatically felt comfortable with her, as she seemed very caring and eager to help. I told her that my son needed a lot of help with reading and she told me not worry and that he will have a great learning experience. She has been very understanding of my son needs. She even reach out to his teacher in school to be on track with his needs. Sandy has also manage to fit his classes at convenient times and is always reachable by phone. I strongly recommend Sandy, she truly care about transforming my son into a confident and fluent reader. I am very happy and can thanks her enough.

Cheryl has been an asset to our transition to Lincroft and Middletown Schools. She is patient and kind - yet firm. My son, 8th grade, went from, “I have no idea what they are doing in this school!” - to “I got this Mom!” He was not doing well AT ALL - then after two weeks, he scored a 78. After four weeks, he scored a 92 and 95. And, he ended the quarter with an A! I’m really happy we hired Cheryl to support him. Great techniques. Very very highly recommended!

I'm Polish. I’ve lived in NY for several years and attended various English courses. Kathy was my first teacher who concentrated primarily on speaking. We worked a lot on my pronunciation and general speaking skills for over two years. I have learned a lot not only about English grammar but also enriched my knowledge about the culture and habits of Americans. Kathy was very patient, a good listener and interesting to work with. I’ve really enjoying the lessons and spent very nice time with her. She was easy to contact and very flexible. I’m glad to have met her not only as a teacher but also as a person. After all these years we are still in touch. I hope she continues to teach in the future and I would definitely recommend her.
