About

Jessica was our wedding officiant. We got married in Syracuse because my husband is from there and we wanted a small wedding. We found Jessica during our planning in October she was quick, we met with her once and then she followed up a lil over a month before our wedding in June to go over ceremony details. Jessica provided sample ceremonies but we chose to write our own. We met with her the week of the wedding it was quick and easy and we never doubted she knew what she was doing. The ceremony was as great as can be with an officiant who doesn't personally know the couple, she read our ceremony with a few hiccups. A few guests mentioned that it felt like she wasn't as connected, but as expected since we didnt have a personal relationship. We were happy, wrote our own vows and thats where the personal touch came in and it quickly moved on to our reception.Worked for us! We also received our marriage license a week out so she was quick and efficient with mailing out the application. I'd recommend her for anyone looking for a quick ceremony.

About

We got married September 2015 and Kat Was fabulous! We wanted personalized vows but weren't comfortable in writing our own (neither of us are literary geniuses). But Kat came up with "repeat after me" vows that were beautiful, personal, and just traditional enough! I highly recommend her for your wedding (or other event) needs!

I wasn't able to use Jeanne as our officiant because a family member stepped up at the last minute. However, Jeanne was very easy to get a hold of and communicate with and was a pleasure to work with for our short time. She was open and willing to do whatever my fiancee and I wanted for our ceremony. If we didn't have a family member to officiate our wedding, I would have been more than happy with Jeanne uniting my fiancee and I in our marriage.

About

As an elected Town Court Justice in NYS, I have the honor of officiating at marriages throughout New York State. A couple who wish to marry in NYS must apply in person for a marriage license to any town or city clerk in NYS. The application must be signed by both applicants in the presence of the clerk. After the marriage license has been issued, the ceremony may not take place for 24 hours. However, after the day the license is issued it is valid for 60 calendar days. A marriage license issued by a town or city clerk in NYS (outside NYC) costs $40, and includes the issuance of a certificate of marriage Registration. There is no requirement in NYS for a premarital examination or blood test to get a marriage license. You will have to prove to the marriage license issuing town or city clerk, your age and identity. Proof can be provided by a birth certificate, baptismal record, naturalization record, or census record. AND, either a driver's license, passport, current employment picture ID, or an immigration record. Information about any previous marriages must be supplied as well. One or both parties may elect to change their surname upon marriage by entering the new name in the marriage license application. More information about this process can be obtained from the issuing marriage license town or city clerk. Besides the marriage officiant, you must have at least one additional witness who will sign the marriage certificate. Although there is no age limit for such witness, and parents often wish to include a child in the momentous event, please consider that the witness must be competent to testify in a court proceeding as to what he or she witnessed.

About

With over 7 years of experience in deejaying, I've recently started performing wedding ceremonies, as well. I take the same one-on-one approach to both, talking to you through the process, finding out what you want to make the day special, and making sure that you have the tailored experience that you're looking for. My goal is to understand you well enough to make your celebration come out right. Pagan, and "spiritual-but-not-religious" are specialties when it comes to ceremonies. My rates are very reasonable. I offer a package deal. Book me to DJ your wedding, and you're entitled to my performing the ceremony for half price. (If the ceremony and reception are close enough, of course.) As an added bonus, I'm also an artist, suppose you want one of your wedding photos immortalized as a painting. For an equally reasonable rate, I will use your photo as a model for an acrylic painting on canvas.

About

A wedding is a union of two beautiful and unique individuals, and your wedding should reflect that. I believe in a personal approach in which your personalities should be given an opportunity to shine through making the ceremony as memorable as the reception.

I have "a way cool family-friendly, earthy, groovy place" available for outdoor events, although you don't have to have your event at Turtle Dreams for my event planning, wedding officiation, group art projects, kava kava ceremonies, didgeridoo storytelling or entertainment. Are you looking for the different? You found me! I develop one-of-a-kind packages, and I will work within you budget to create fabulous memories. Do you want to make a totem pole with all of your guests' handprints, have a bonfire and drum circle, be led to a stone altar accompanied with a chorus of bull roarers or something else that's unusual? I am your guy!

About

Don't know what a wedding officiant is? Don't worry, a wedding officiant is someone who is legally allowed to marry people. This works out well for people under many different circumstances. They may not be a member of a faith community. There may be different religions in the relationship. For a wedding officiant, this is no problem. This is your day! It should reflect you and your spouse in every way. It is my mission to create a ceremony that does just that. My ceremonies are custom-built for each couple. This reflects their individual dreams and desires on that special day. By working together, we can create your perfect day. Many of the couples that I have been lucky enough to join together have commented on how important this personalization was for them. The benefit of using my services is affordability. It seems that no matter what you do for your wedding, you will be spending an arm and two legs. Please review my packages and fees section on my website, and compare.

About

Relationship counseling can be fun because I do short-term solution-oriented counseling. People love that I tell stories they can relate to; they generally last for 3 to 5 sessions and people go away feeling good about themselves. My joy is performing weddings. Part of that is helping people to understand how they got to be who they are. I do a genegram (family behavior history which is often great fun considering family dynamics). Occasionally, some counseling happens here and then we meet again to write the wedding. Each meeting is about an hour and a half. I will do the rehearsal, and there is a charge for that depending on mileage ($50+). The couple makes personal choices for readings. We three write the weddings, and the couple chooses what words or even letters get to stay or go. People love the personal feel this has. No wedding is like any other. The couple is free to bring readings they are fond of for we three to include. We can do much of this by Skype!
