This is a great school I have trained for years mostly in a commercial setting like cardio Kickboxing and franchise Martial Art Schools and I hold several Black Belts. After taking a few weeks of classes that are offered as a free trial I quickly realized I had a lot more to learn. The owner of the school teaches the majority of the classes which is very rare for someone of his caliber. My son is also taking classes and although I was apprehensive at first because the instructor was only 17 years old I was happy to hear that he was home grown coming up the ranks since he was 7 years old. Aside from being an accomplished gold medalist I found out that even at 17 years of age his skill is extraordinary the first time I sparred with him as he very politely swept the floor with me.

I took a few Kickboxing classes for free and I loved them. You get one on one personalized instruction in a small semi private class setting. I lost twenty pounds going about three times a week with some dieting advise the trainer gave me. The best part is they are about half the price of some of the other schools that I tried.

The best traditional Kung Fu and kickboxing school on the island. The instructors are very experienced and personalize the workouts to fit every students needs and desires. The prices are also EXTREMELY pocket-friendly. I highly recommend them.

There was a time where the wick within me was covered in wax. Muhaimin Nor tore through my soul and discovered the ember yearning to become a flame. Just when I thought I hit rock bottom, my plummet into the rabbit hole brought me to a place I've never been before. I was too busy wallowing in my sorrows, but Muhaimin lifted me up and said, "There is no such thing as a loss or a bad experience, only growth." Step by step, day by day, I scaled my way up and out of that rabbit hole. Muhaimin is not just a coach that holds pads and counts out repetitions, he invests time and passion into his students and clients. The first day I met Muhaimin, three years go, my attestation was, "I want to be a competing fighter." He transformed me from a "wannabe tough girl" to a humble warrior. With Muhaimin as a mentor, friend, guide and coach he pushes me to levels of success that my body and soul never thought possible. On my journey towards success to becoming the woman I am today, Muhaimin continues to guide me through inevitable mental, emotional and physical speed bumps. This is a man with heart that will invest time and passion into your goals, whether it is training for a fight, a body building contest or to simply be a babe on the beach. I have never met anybody in my years on this earth, that holds the amount of faith for me as Muhaimin Nor. From the day I walked up to him and expressed the desire to be a fighter, Muhaimin made that happen. Three years later, I am competing in Muay Thai and it would not have been possible without his faith and investments. He turned me into a person I never thought I could be, happy and hopeful. He is very thorough while teaching Muay Thai, explaining how and why fighting stance, blocks, punches and kicks are done. My schedule isn't always static and he's very accommodating. Pays attention to if you're getting fatigued or if you still have a little more in the tank when deciding breaks. Good conditioning and stretches. Excellent personal trainer and would definitely recommend.

It's going great so far. He keeps workouts fun by switching it up and incorporating kickboxing. Looking forward to my results a few months from now!

I've been looking for a kickboxing studio to stop being a lazy bum. Gym was not an option because I just don't like it, and I sort of feel uncomfortable around muscle maniacs. I stumbled upon a Groupon deal for ILKB and decided to try it out, especially since the place was down the block from my job. The first class was a killer. The first 20 minutes or so is very intense cardio and conditioning. You will be sweating as much as you would in hot yoga. Then comes the best part: punching/kicking the bag to your heart's desire. The instructors are really (and I mean really) energetic and great at motivating you. Every class they teach you different combinations getting you to work out your entire body. After my first class I ended up signing up for a whole year! It's really fun and really hard at the same time. The instructors really make it their goal to push you to your potential, and help you reach your fitness goal. The staff there is so nice and so helpful. They are always ready and willing to help in any way, shape or form if you need it. The facility itself is gorgeous, neat and very tidy. The locker rooms even have everything you could possibly need. All you need to bring is a towel, water bottle, a lock, and yourself! They don't call it ILoveKickboxing for no reason... I pretty much go every day now.

I was walking to the gym one night with a friend and she convinced me to try something new. I was very hesitant at first, but it has become my new addiction. The staff there is very friendly, energetic, and they actually pay attention to your form unlike many other places. The warms ups and bag work are very challenging, but you definitely get a great overall workout. This has replaced my gym visits and I've noticed better results coming here. I have yet to leave there feeling like I didn't get a great workout. If you haven't already, definitely check it out!!! You won't be disappointed!!!

Real results. I had NEVER thought of doing something like kickboxing before my friend asked me to go with her. It was a lot of fun, but on top of that I could not believe how quick the results came. The workouts are VERY hard at first, but once you get passed the initial hump they get easier and you realize how much progress you've made. The BEST part I believe was for the first time in my life I actually felt strong. I didn't mind carrying the heavy bag of groceries down the street any more. This was a great fun way to get stronger and healthier.

I used to exercise regularly but lost touch over the past year. Mike was very helpful in understanding my requirement and pushed me just right to get the best out of me. We did some really good full body exercises and weights. Followed it up with some kickboxing cardio. Left me feeling really good after so many months. What I also liked was that he taught stretching exercises after each set. That really helped. I am going to work with Mike for a few months to get back in shape. Mike also explained why we were doing what we were doing. Thanks Mike for being a great teacher.

Training Day 1 a success: he seems nice and definitely tailors a routine to your specific needs--and I need someone who's gonna kick my butt at workout (but not in a drI'll sergeant kind of way, which he is definitely not). Looking forward to future kickboxing lessons as part of the routine as well!

Bill is an amazing trainer and mentor. Very laid back and simultaneously incredibly motivating. I came in to continue training kickboxing but now we do all kinds of trainings including workout to increase mucle mass, fitness and since he is a black belt in Isshinryu (Karate) we started that as well and all I can say is that his patience, skill and flexibility are absolutely remarkable. If you are looking for someone to help you with advanced training or just guide you through the basics, he is the person for it. Also, he teaches kids as well of all ages so if you're a parent with a child and would like them to get some exercise and have a mentor, Sensei Bill is your man. Thank you Bill - look forward to continuing training with you

I've had a great experience working will Coach Bill Pratt. He has met my personal needs as a collegiate athlete and I can see my improvement from week to week. He is very knowledgable about self defense and fitness in general and has a very diverse skill set. I attribute my staying healthy for the cross country season to the strength he has been building with me.

I have been working with Coach Shomari for over 2 years. This is a record for me because normally I get bored very quickly and give up on my workouts. What I love about working with Coach Shomari is that he comes to my house (I don't like going out to a gym), and he makes the workouts varied and interesting so I am never bored. He does not yell and scream at you if you are doing something wrong, or if you are not putting in 100% effort (If you are tired or not well). He works around whatever restrictions you have. I highly recommend Coach Shomari.

Coach Shomari is very thorough. I’ve already had several sessions with and love the workouts. He stresses form above all so you get the full benefit of your workout and minimize injury. Overall, I’d recommend Coach Shomari for anyone looking for varied workouts which can include weight and boxing training along with cardio fitness.

There is not enough words in the world to describe how much this great man can help you. A few years ago I thought I was well equipped with my skills, but he showed me so much that I now know I knew so little. Mark can take you up and beyond your goals and is a great mentor and my go to man for advice. He is so wise and talented and I can't wait to train with him more in my future for the world of MMA. Not only is he knowledgable in MMA he is great for boxing, bjj, kickboxing, and muy Thai. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to be serious in the world of fighting, self defense, anyone who wants to be fit or anyone who needs a great friend or mentor to talk to. Mark goes beyond my description, you just have to try him!

I've been training with Sladky for around two years. As a lifetime swimmer, I am athletic but pretty uncoordinated. Sladky has taught me everything I know about boxing/kickboxing and Muay Thai from the very basics like technique and how to throw punches correctly, to more advanced moves (e.g. spinning back kick), taking the time to break things down for me when I need it. Over the years, the types of workouts that we have done have changed based on my interests and Sladky is very perceptive as to what I want to focus on, for example, changing my workout to mostly pad work in the ring when he realized I was lifting more on my own. During our time together, Sladky has continued to push me and challenge me as I have improved. He has advanced my skills and strength by pushing me with more aggressive pad sessions in the ring while consistently reminding me of the fundamentals of my technique when I need it. On a personal level, I feel like Sladky cares about me improving in the ring, but he also takes the time to ask me about my life outside of the gym – something I think is important to build trust between a trainer and an athlete. Our workouts are just the appropriate balance of intense effort broken up by humor, which makes training with Sladky something I look forward too. I am so pleased with how far I have come in my boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai skills. I would highly recommend him to people of all skill levels.

I train under Guru Glenn in Jersey one of Andy's students. Love taking a ride into NY. To train with a real master of the art of fighting. He shows what will really work. The arnis work makes me so much quicker and aware whats going on, it's not a easy art to learn but if your up for the challenge, will inhance you fighting ability 10 fold. especially when i lose the sticks and go with empty hand sparring. The group of guy's that train there are very inviting like you've known them a long time always willing to show you pointers where needed. Been around a few systems, this guy is the real deal. Gene

About

Proper technique is my #1 focus. Once you get the feeling for the techniques we'll move on to the next step; adding power. Unlike most Muay Thai trainers, with me you will not spend the majority of your session hitting the bag, shadow boxing or doing auxiliary exercises such as push-ups, sit ups, burpees (unless requested). I believe training should be full hands on! You'll get 5 rounds of Thai pad, 2 rounds low kick & 1 round boxing with elbows. That's not all, after pad work you'll learn some high percentage sparring/fighting set-ups used by pro fighters, then we'll move onto a live technical sparring session in which you'll have a chance to try out your new tricks, then we move onto clinch drills/techniques and finish our session with live clinch work.
