I engaged Melissa's skills as a copy editor for a short story that I am submitting to a literary publication. Melissa responded quickly, and I sent her a copy which whe quoted me a price on within a half hour. I waited for a few other quotes and she was not the lowest but I liked her descrition of what she could do for me. I engaged her services, she had up to a week to do the work but completed it the next day. She sent me a copy that I approved and payed her the full amount on Pay-Pal. Well, maybe not literally, but it seemed like that at the time.       Most photographers charge you a session fee, then they have a proofing meeting with you and have you choose what photos you want prints of and how many prints you want. They have set packages that include a set number of images and they don't release all the digital files to you only the ones that you purchased prints of. I charge a flat fee and give my clients all of their best images from the session so they can have them printed at a lab of their choosing. I don't make them order prints from me. The people! I have met so many wonderful people and it is such an honor that they trust me to capture the photos that they will be using when they tell their children and grandchildren stories. Photos are always cherished by the client first and when they pass their children cherish them and their grandchildren after.
