Have had a very positive experience with this music studio. I started guitar lessons last fall with Ian Harrah. I am a complete novice - could not be further from being "a natural" - and Ian has been so patient. The owner, Brad, has also been very easy to work with when scheduling my first visit and setting up payments, and he even called just to see how lessons were going. Definitely recommended!
I have worked with several teachers over the years and Jimmy is by far the most knowledgeable and thorough teacher I have ever had. Not only am I playing things I thought I would never be able to play, because of Jimmy I now have an understanding of theory and my instrument like never before. He often times goes over on lessons until he is confident I understand the concept he is showing me. Jimmy is also one of the funiest people and I love my lessons.
I’ve been taking bass lessons at Inspiration To Movement with Mr Adam since October. Prior to starting lessons, I tried teaching myself for a few months. In a short time at ITM, I’ve made more progress than I did on my own. I have taken music lessons in the past, but it is sticking better with these lessons. I highly recommend ITM.
Joe jumped into lessons right away. He was very patient and I suspect that I'm going to learn a lot from him!
I really enjoy working with Paul. The lessons fit my learning style and pace very well. He is focused on helping a person become more musical. He is also focused on the positive progress I am making and helping me to work through challenges.
My kids have been taken guitar and violin lessons with Lilia, and they love it. She's very professional and friendly. She teaches the kids at the appropriate level and speed. I have truly enjoyed watching them learn their instruments without worrying about their comfort and safety.
I took piano lessons with Tim and it was an awesome experience. Perfect touch for a beginner like myself. I feel much further along than I would be without Tim's instruction.
Had a great first lesson! - reviewed a good amount music theory since I had not taken piano lessons since high school (25 yrs ago). Very much enjoyed Hannah's personality - pleasant and cheerful but focused. She kept the lesson focused so it was very productive and a great review! I also like that we have set attainable goals for the next couple of lessons!
I am extraordinarily pleased with my ukulele lessons with Steven Fox. In just a very short time, I have already started playing. He is a consummate professional and quite a talented musician. I'm excited to go to the lessons every week!
Stu teaches my 8 year old daughter accoustic guitar. Even though she has a notoriously short attention span, Stu has managed to keep her interest for months now by providing interesting, age-appropriate lessons that work for her skill level. Knowledgable about guitar, music, and how to work with kids.
Charley has given my teenager guitar lessons for almost 3 years. He started with no experience and is now playing both acoustic and electric guitars. Charley is flexible, really good with children/teens, and has a wealth of music knowledge.
My son started piano lessons a little over a month ago. Erin is very patient and constantly comes up with new ways for him to learn based on how he's doing. She's a wonderful teacher.
I took voice lessons from Amy for about 5 years. She greatly helped me in learning all the proper ways of breathing and all that goes into being a better singer. She also gave voice and piano lessons to 2 of my nieces and they loved Amy and looked forward to their lessons with her. She's very talented and uses her God given musical gifts to help others.
Connie is very sweet, professional and knowledgeable. Her teaching method encourages the student to grow while expanding on talent and areas of strength.
We offer musical lessons of all kinds, and we are specializing in guitar of all levels: beginner, intermediate and beyond.I will work closely with you to find out exactly what you want to learn.Fast, and produce the best possible results. Plus, you'll have a good time doing it! Guitar instruction is important to me simply because I have experienced so much in my life and have learned a number of key concepts of what to do to understand the guitar (and what NOT to do!). I believe I am very good at teaching, not simply because I understand the guitar, but because I understand the students. Looking forward to hearing from you. Happy Holidays!, Mark
I have over 30 years of experience in playing and teaching guitar and am certified as a recording engineer. I specialize in folk rock but can play and teach any style. I also play mandolin and electric and upright bass.
I give individualized lessons that differentiate and work with my students' different learning styles. Along with the piano, students will learn theory and aural skills to increase their musicality. Students have the option to travel or have the teacher travel. Accommodations will be made.
I provide guitar lessons for all skill levels. I love teaching kids, but they must be able to do simple addition and subtraction. The rate for a half-hour session is $25, and the full-hour session is $35.
I've been teaching for over 20 years for all ages, from 4-year-olds to seniors. I teach classical, popular, jazz, blues and more. I have over 10 years of my piano recital's best on YouTube -- search on "mypianostudents playlist." I have been able to advance hardworking students to playing Beethoven's Fur Elise in only 3 years.
I've been studying music for ten years and giving informal lessons for seven years. I played guitar in the Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra and have played guitar and bass for various rock and jazz gigs. More importantly, I have a talent for communicating and explaining the language of music, as well as the language used in instructional books and videos. The most complicated musical concepts and techniques can be made simple if they are broken down into smaller parts and practiced.
I bring a great mix of classical, soulful, contemporary, and gospel singing styles to the table. I allow the student to grow as best fits him/her starting with a foundation of classical. That way, he/she receives the techniques for longevity and vocal health along with developing a sound that will be attractive to millions!
