Sarah really knows how to help you she makes a plan that works for you. She makes sure that you totally understand what you are putting in your body and that you understand how to keep track of your protein, carbs and fat. She is always there to give you support and answer your questions. With Sarah’s help I have loss 25 lbs and continue to lose. Sarah taught me how to control my weight not by dieting but by keeping track of what I eat. Sarah is a great nutritionist and coach!
Since graduating college, I've been extremely focused on my career and advancing myself in the workplace. While I'm proud of my professional experiences, I found myself starting work early, staying late, and leaving no time in between for workouts and health. I decided 3 months ago, I would change that and have been working out with Joe since. I could not be happier with my results and it has definetely been a decision for the best. Joe programs workouts for me 3x a week, has me boxing 2x a week, and schedules cardio 1x a week. He's even begun programming a meal prep plan that I will start next month. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure his clients reach their physical and mental goals. Even when he's out of town, he arranges for other trainers to step in and monitor workouts. Joe has been training me at EFF for over a year now and I can honestly say I can't see myself being committed to my own health and fitness with anyone else. The workouts are different every day with a grand variance of equipment that I either didn't have access to or would never have attempted on my own. Joe always pushes me to do my personal best. It has been Great working with Betsy.I have learned many things on how our bodies react to exercise , what works and what doesn't as well as better nutrition to compliment the work out.I have had great results in weight loss and learned much about healthier living. Sam has been the first counselor that has provided me with not only individualized support, but effective suggestions as well. Most counselors I have found tend to listen well, but just send you on your way. His direct approach is firm yet extremely effective at working through issues.
After meeting with several trainers, I found vanoy to be the most knowledgeable in fitness, health and nutrition and fairly priced for his skill set. I started training with vanoy in the summer of 2012 and still work with him a year later. I have recommend him to several family members and friends who where not disappointed. He has changed my life in many ways and besides a trainer I consider him a good friend. If you are looking for a trainer who actually cares and is not just after your money chose vanoy.
Heather was a wonderful Crossfit Level I Trainer at Crossfit Troy when I joined there in 2011. I had just retired from teaching at that time and transferred my membership from Crossfit Heights because it was a farther drive. I felt bad when Heather left to work at another box. I have been a Crossfitter since 2009. I have had many fine coaches, but the only time I met my ideal weight was when Heather was my coach. I'm now 65 years old. I have arthritis in my knees, and am about 20 pounds overweight...but I'm still active thanks in part to the great trainers I have had. I placed 2nd in my age group in the Autism Awareness 5K in Fletcher April 30th, 2017. I highly recommend her as a coach.
I have to thank Alexa for all her hard work and encouragement during the years we worked together. I really appreciate her encouragement and practical advice and suggestions. Even when I felt down and discouraged, she was positive and patient. Wherever she goes and whoever she works with, their lives will be improved and happier because of her work. I struggle with diabetes, and during the time we worked together, we dropped my HbA1c from 11 to 6.8. It's been amazing for my health and my energy levels.
My experience working w/Mark as my personal trainer has been in a word EXCELLENT! I’m nearing 3 years training w/Mark. I’m down 30 pounds, have increased strength and stamina to higher levels than when I was in my 30s! As evidence, I recently completed a local triathlon, finishing ahead of many athletes +20 years younger than me! I've been meeting with Karin for less than 2 months. Karin is friendly and professional - but more importantly, she will make you get things done. Come to coach with Karin and expect to work. After 2 months I'm thinking more clearly and I have more energy than I've had in years. Her style of coaching approaches the person as a whole: nutrition, exercise, stress, motivation, life goals, fulfillment at work, etc. Because of Karin my far-off life goals are starting to turn into real-time plans. Book some time with her - it'll be the best thing you've done for yourself in years.
