I was very impressed with the professionalism and quality of the JR Capital man who came to fix our various electrical wiring issues. Everything was laid out in a quote, he did what he said he would do, he was very courteous and cleaned up all the mess (from cutting drywall, etc) after the work was done, and I was able to pay with Paypal which made life very easy. I highly recommend him and will be hiring him for future electrical jobs. We live in an old Shaker house that needs plenty more electrical updates.
I had a complete tear off and re-roof done. I was pleased with the roofing job. I was really impressed with the clean up after; not a nail to be found. I would recommend them.
Tim installed drywall in a garage with vaulted ceilings. He went well beyond the call of duty by fixing numerous pre-existing scrapes and gouges on the walls. He also painted the entire interior. He did a great job, under difficult circumstances (weather). Tim clearly takes pride in his work. I will definitely be using Tim again in the future.
Not only was he detailed in his inspection, he was detailed in step by step; How it happened, what it affected, how it spreads, the effects all area, what was needed to correct the situation. All while being a person not a "know it all!" Then on time too! Need I say more?
I am 68 years old and have hired many contractors in my time and i must say that Paint Masters were the best i have ever dealed with. I am a stickler and a former tradesman myself so i am not exactly easy to please. These guys did everything expected and then some. The price was about half of the other quotes i received. They did the best top quality work, and even repaired some large holes in my drywall for free! I would reccommend these guys to anyone, in fact i am hiring them to refinish my wood floors next month. 5 Stars for Dennis and his crew!
Herb & crew did a fantastic job re-shingling my 1958 garage, which needed a total tear off. He came over on a Sunday within 24 hours of our first Thumbtack contact to give me an estimate, and I could tell right off that he is a very thorough person: getting out a ladder and climbing up on the roof, checking the gutters, looking at the wood from the inside of the garage, etc. His estimate was quite reasonable, and it included some wood if needed and gutter tune-up. Also, he did not try to sell me a bunch of other stuff that I did not need to get just this one job done. All of this added up to absolutely no surprises when the day came for the work to be done. His crew was extremely polite (this is very important to me) and had obviously been roofing together for a long time, evidenced as I peeked out the window a few times to watch, and saw how coordinated they were as they worked together as a team. They worked hard & efficiently, and had the job done in about 3.5 hours. Their work is clearly high quality and looks just beautiful, I am thrilled with the results. They also cleaned up after themselves *completely* - except for the pretty new roof, I can’t even tell that they were here!! Herb runs a great company, and I fully recommend them.
I needed a list of projects to be completed in 30 days for the sale of my home to go through. Mr. Anderson took on all the electrical, plumbing , roofing and construction jobs on the punch out list. I was impressed with the quality of work provided. Best of all everything was completed on time as promised. I'm very happy with the service provided by Mr. Anderson and recommend him highly!
This is going to be long, prepare yourself Ill try and keep the history short: 1) Move into the house after remediation was supposed to have taken care of: a. Mold in the attic b. Clogged soffits c. Bathroom vent being vented directly into the attic Fast forward 6.5 years: 1) We have water getting into our bedroom and I crawl into the attic to find the source (the vent stack 2) I notice that the ceiling is rather black and suspect the either the mold has returned or the original company didnt do such a good job of removing the mold previously 3) I fix the leaking vent pipe myself but I call out a roofer to get their opinion of the situation in the attic 4) He agrees we have poor ventilation and need to remediate the mold and we discuss various items on a hit list of things to fix I begin researching and learn a lot more than I ever expected about attics, mold and proper ventilation. We decide that the obvious first step is remediation and then fixing the smaller (and bigger) jobs. My wife does a quick search for our city and mold removal. I am expecting to call several places and have several visits (I like doing at least three) with several quotes/estimates following. I make my first call at around 7pm in the evening and I speak with Ed at ABC Mold Removal. Its immediately apparent that Ed knows his stuff and their business. After I hang up with him not only do I have a verified handle on the research Ive been doing myself I have an estimate in my email well below what I was expecting to hear, a complete rundown of what will happen when they come to our home, an even better idea of the various items I need to fix/update to KEEP the mold from coming BACK as well as two of the items off my list included in the estimate namely: 1) pulling back the blown in insulation from clogging my soffits which was, obviously, never done when we moved in and 2) correctly venting the bathroom vent to the outside and not just up to the ridge vent. He also recommends I look into updating the ridge vent we do have as these have been updated and improved dramatically since the one we have was installed. I like the quote and agree with all that needs done and I call him back later and schedule a date. He says he can be out within about 3 days which actually was too soon for us and we moved that out about 7 days (on a Saturday). Fast forward once again to the day of the job: 1) They arrive on time. They stated between 7:30am and 8:00am and they arrive a few minutes before 8am. a. At this point, I have to mention two things that struck me: 1) they greet me professionally and call my Mr. Strauss even though weve already exchanged first names. This continues throughout the day and 2) they remove their shoes. No prompting, no booties, no asking if they should they just did it. All day long, in and out to bring in equipment. Some people might be saying, well, they should. I would tend to agree if it werent for the fact that Ive had work done on my house previously cable, front door, basement heater, etc. None of them just came in and removed their shoes. None. 2) Their setup takes about an hour and half and includes putting plastic down in the room where the access hatch is (our daughters closet), plastic down the hallway they have to come in and out of and a triple plastic barrier at the entrance into the room. They also close up the whole house fan and then, at long last, look into the attic to see what its like. a. I was leery up to this point that they had yet to ever set eyes on my attic and the condition it was in. But they knew their stuff and came completely prepared for anything. They said it didnt look bad and estimated that theyd be out by 1 or 2 in the afternoon. (spoiler: they were leaving my drive at 2:30pm after cleaning up completely and having a small chat with me and, of course, getting paid). In speaking with Ed later, during our chat, he told me that ABC Mold Removal has been doing this kind of work for thirteen (13) years and theres a reason for that: they do a fantastic job! The black, stained attic looked like new wood. The soffits? I could see daylight through them when I went up. The bathroom fan? Vented completely to the outside. Steve the second person on the job did this work even though it was fairly cold out and there was some snow on the roof too. Did I mention Steve comes from a family of 5 roofers? Did I mention that Ed came prepared for anything? The only thing we have left to do is to weatherproof any heat exchange points into the attic from the house and to install a new ridge vent (going with Eds suggestion of Shingle Vent II after watching a video online of how well it works). So, in a nutshell? Highly, highly, highly recommend Ed and ABC Mold Removal to anyone who has the unfortunate need for this service (which is probably more of us than we realize).
Chuck came out on 3/29/16 to give a estimate to repair my roof that was not done right by my original roofer. he was very professional gave me a quote. He came out the following day and repaired the roof.
I worked with Mike from ArmorGuard. I used their baisc roof inspection service. The service provided me will all the information I needed to know about our roof for a fair price. In addition to that Mike answered all my questions I had about the roof. Mike was very knowledgeable, professional, and overall enjoyable to work with. I will be using ArmorGuard for my future roofing needs and I will be recommending ArmorGuard to anyone I know that needs a roofer. High quality work and personal and professional service that doesn't break the bank. It doesn't get any better than that.
I appreciate that he was honest and didn't try to make an unjust buck off a customer. Fixed my roof leak for $52. :) I even had to call and have him back and he responded quickly and addressed the problem at no additional cost. He is definately the roofer I call for any and all roof issues
We had a garage roof leak. and we went through Thumbtack because of previous excellent experience. Of the 4 roofers sent to us, 2 did not reply, and we had 4 quotes of which Chris was not the lowest or the highest, but his work was truly stellar. He kept me informed about when he was planning to come, came in in the morning, left by afternoon and when I went by, the entire place looked like no one had been there but the job was done!!! Perfect job with no mess left behind.
Rob was a great professional who responded in a timely fashion (I previously had had other roofers abandon us). He worked hard until the job and did great work. We had a leak in our roof that two other roofers were not able to fix. So we are very grateful to Cleveland Ohio Roofing!
I had problems with my roof and hire A roofer, he charge me a lot of money And still I had leaks!! I hire mark and repaired my roof at Fraction of the other company, no More leaks! Great experience!!!!! Thanks
Steve was amazing !!! I've had a roofer leak for over a year and had 4 OTHER ROOFERS come try and fix my leak ...none were successful. Steve came out ..worked around my schedule and fixed it with one try :) he's very knowledgeable and experienced and affordable!!!!
I was looking for a roofer who was professional, timely and prompt, and personable. Darrell Yoder was all of these things! Installation seemed to go very quickly and the cleanup was thorough. He was willing to work with me to suit my needs and I could tell he really cared about my overall satisfaction with the job. He got me the best quality products for my home at an affordable price! I would definitely recommend Darrell Yoder Roofing to anyone who wants the job done to perfection.
Dever Design & Build did an excellent job for us on a very large project. Jack paid attention to detail and is very professional. All work was done on time and budget. Jack also provided many ideas that helped save us money on our project when the budget got tight. On a second project we used Dever Design & Build, we had a large roof leak during a storm on a Friday night. We called several roofing companies and no one was answering. We finally called Jack to see if he knew anyone that could help. Jack had a roofer over right away and our problem was solved by Saturday. Dever Design & Build should have been the first call we made. Highly recommend Dever Design & Build.
We were so happy with every aspect of our relationship with Chris tian Construction. It was agonizing for us to decide on the shingles but Robert made it alot more bearable by not pressuring us + his knowledge of the products out there was very helpful. His help with the insurance claim was outstanding. Roofers were all friendly, eager to please + you could tell they took pride in their work and reputation.
Very good experience! The price was fair and the work was done in a decent timeline. We waited until fall to start the roofing process. The roofers were pleasant and did a great job. The materials used were high quality.
Rick was great at providing ideas on how to improve and maximize the space in my small main bathroom. I love the way it turned out! His team of guys were great and did a great job. The tile work is awesome! They all were open to changes as the project progressed and answered all my questions.
