Jamie did a GREAT job on a very special children's book I've always wanted to create for my grandkids. BEAUTIFUL work. She went, above and beyond, I'm very happy and look forward to working with her again...:)
The team at Blinkist is always super stoked to see what Jason comes up with next. Jason showed great initiative and got a special project off the ground, in which he visually interprets what he learned from one of our summaries. He's a go-getter, no doubt, with a sturdy understanding of leveraging contacts and social media. Plus, the illustrations are charming. /Emily @ Blinkist
I have both of Lee Anne's books from Amazon.com. Her illustrations are visionary and augment the spirit of the stories brilliantly. I've seen some of her paintings and watched her work. I also own one. It's a fabulous redering of the Amtrak Union Station - Clock Tower in downtown Portland, Oregon. I absolutely love it!
I have had the privilege of working with Deborah in 2 projects now. She has always been very polite and nice to work with. Her work is amazing and very professional with a unique flavor that reminds me of Dr. Zeus and other illustrators. I highly recommend her for any children's book or project.
I was very pleased with Theresa's graphics for my book cover A Time to Speak. She was very easy to work with and when I told her what I had in mind, it came out exactly as I had envisioned. Thanks,Theresa, I can't say that enough!
Ms. Alarcon designed and illustrated a beautiful cover for my novel. She was very easy to communicate with and was always open to feedback. Throughout the process, Ms. Alarcon explained the choices she made and how they would help the book get discovered in the Amazon marketplace. The next time I need graphic design or illustration work, Ms. Alarcon will be the first person I contact.
Melissa is providing the illustrations to my newest children's book pair, "Everything Is Different"/"Todo es distinto". She is extremely talented and creative. I share each illustration as I receive it, and I have had an amazing amount of positive feedback. She gives the characters personality and is great with a touch of humor. She has definitely invested much time and effort into her work. Things in this case have run past schedule, but that is due to understandable personal circumstances. I know I will be tremendously happy with the final product. Our communication is open and we are both honest with our expectations of each other. I love working with her!
My work stands out for its whimsy, the joy it exudes, and the intensity of colors and subtlety of its subjects. It is in naive style that shines through and it playfully captivates the audience. Some of my subjects pinpoint environmental issues. Others highlight family and place. And others transport you to that place that you see on the page. My job is a creative meditation, and fills me with joy. I never am bored, for there are countless things to paint. I can capture in a painting the crux of a cause I work for, or the possibilities of joy in our world. I add new techniques each day to create increasingly different moods and effects, to entrance the viewer.
