Latest Review: I highly recommend Travis as a trainer. As a business owner, I have learned to find the best and trust them to do their job. Travis is an expert at personal training and he proven to me that I trust him implicitly to do his job. I am 57 and have worked with Travis for almost two years. When I started I was in terrible shape and overweight. I am actually heavier now, but that's because I lost many inches of fat and replaced it with lean muscle. Follow his instruction and you will get results. For instance, I do not like to run and we never do more than 5 minutes of any type of aerobics. I ran for 45 minutes recently (chasing a runaway dog) and barely broke a sweat. When I started with Travis I could not walk just 1 mile without terrible back pain. Travis starts by making sure he is clear in understanding a person's goal(s). He evaluates the person's physical condition then constructs a specific long-term plan to reach and maintain those goals. Travis lays a foundation so a person can continue to safely and rapidly build upon that foundation. I seldom make recommendations and take other people's recommendations with a grain of salt. I recommend Travis implicitly because I know Travis, having worked with him and experienced far greater results than I ever imagined. Phil Brewer President Alpha Environmental Services, Inc.

Latest Review: One of the best decisions I have ever made! After 6 months laying flat due to a medical condition I lost a huge % of my muscle mass. I could hardly sit up in bed at the age of 30.. After seeing 7 different specialist in my healthcare world, I had pretty much given up hope.. No physical therapy or even gym workouts were helping due to a surgery scar tuning from my rib cage all the way down to my pelvic bone.. ONE week after starting with Thrive, I was no longer shaking while sitting up and I could even pick both legs off the ground using my stomach muscles that had not engaged for over a year!!!!!! Amazing work and soooo worth the money and our 1hour drive!!!!!

Latest Review: 243. The number flashed on the scale, staring me right in my bewildered face. I stepped off the scale, tapped it with my big toe, and stepped back on. 243. I stepped off the scale and shook my head in bewilderment. How did I let this happen? How did I slip this far? I had thought my face looked round mere moments ago in that family photo, but 243…this was a disaster. A disclaimer… I have struggled with my weight and body image my entire life. I am not, nor was I ever, the most athletic individual. I swam competitively for a number of years, and I took a number of dance classes in college, but athletic is an adjective I would never use to describe my physical ability. Back to 243... From that moment on, I made myself a promise. I would change. I would take my insecurities and confront them head on. I would become athletic. Bolstered by this determination, I began the tedious process of vetting a gym. At the time, I was working downtown at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, so finding a gym close to work was crucial. After some preliminary online research, I grabbed my co-worker for moral support and trekked down the block to Gold’s Gym. Shannon, my fearless cohort, was already a member of Gold’s Gym and urged me to join after our tour of this gleaming tower of physical perfection. Needless to say, I signed on the dotted line. I was a member of a gym. It was time to shed the pounds and increase my self-determined self-worth. I adopted a new mantra: Your dreams only work if you do. The next day I had scheduled my free fitness assessment with someone named Brittany. I arrived, changed into my workout clothes, and checked in at the front desk, nervous, anxious, and ready to run out the door. Seconds later, I was greeted by a girl in a red trainer’s t-shirt with her name printed across her heart and black workout shorts. She stuck out her hand, shook mine, and took me upstairs to take my measurements and learn more about my fitness and personal goals. Little did I know that this fitness assessment would be more than just assessing my then lack of physicality. It would be the foundation and formation of a friendship and mutual support system. We clicked instantly. Brittany possessed the right amount of sass and drive to whip me into shape and encourage me every step of the way. Immediately after the assessment I signed up for three months of personal training, twice a week with Brittany. Fast-forward nine months later. I was strong. I was confident. I was athletic. Brittany had completely changed my life for the best. I was at my gym 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day before and after work, taking boot camp classes, swimming, lifting, and doing yoga. Brittany had taught me that physical fitness was more than just lifting weights, it was nutrition, it was mental health, it was finding an inner balance. She taught me that fitness is a journey, with twists and turns along the way. That we have good days and bad, and we can assess each as it comes and not stray from the goals ahead. She helped me realize my potential and pushed me to meet it. The moment I met Brittany my life changed. Through her friendship, she helped me discover that I could do anything I set my mind to. Your dreams only work if you do, so it’s time to keep working.

Latest Review: I have trained with Felton for over 3 years. I train with him so I can be a better runner. He keeps me strong and helps me stay injury-free. With his help, I've run numerous half marathons and full marathons. He also helps me be aware of how I treat myself when I am not training. The food I eat is more diverse and overall healthier. I am a 41-year-old wife and mom who works full time, so trust me, my diet is FAR from perfect. I still go thru the drive-thru way more than I should. But Felton encourages me to take a step back and look at the big picture. Stop beating myself up for “setbacks.” Instead listen to my body and know that some days will be healthier than others. All my days now work together to create a more complete, happier and fitter person.

Latest Review: Brian is the perfect fit for us. We are older and have all the aches and pains associated with age and lack of regular exercise. He is so knowledgable of the body/muscle/balance etc...he has us working on very specific movements to build our foundation so we can then progress. He send us workout routines to do on our own to help speed up the process. Checks in, amends routines as needed. Brian is flexible with our schedule. I'm very happy with him. I would recommend him for anyone with any level of physical fitness.
