Work went as expected, on time completion, reasonable price for an all-inclusive package of services (including sub-contractors where needed).
My front porch was sinking into the ground and pulling away from the house, so it really needed a lot of help. Sonny from Accurate not only answered the phone right away, but was out to the house with a plan and an estimate just a day or two later. The price was good, they know what they're doing, and always kept in touch to keep us updated on the progress and any hiccups along the way. There were some additional things that needed fixed they found along the way, but were very upfront on what would be needed to fix it, the costs, or if it was something I'd be able to handle on my own with a little instruction. Accurate is proof that working with contractors doesn't have to be a nightmare, so I'll gladly be calling them again in the future. I'm very happy with the work and highly recommend them for, well, pretty much anything.
Ernest did an outstanding job and was a pleasure to do business with. If all contractors were like Ernest the world would be a different place. Highly recommended
If it wasn't for Thumbtack, I would have never found Concrete FX...I can't say enough about Brian and his team....for this job, I had a stamped concrete patio put in and front stoop and stories done....I'm amazed how awesome the patio came out...it looks like wood! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be contacting them again (they also do Epoxy for kitchen countertops). If you want quality work at a fair price call Brian!
I would like to congratulate Duane and his colleagues on a truly exceptional job. This was a relatively small job, removing a failing wall and replacing a concrete slap (about 7'x8'ft). Duane visited our house very promptly, and noticed that beyond the problems with the wall/slab that three storm drains were blocked which my have contributed to the underlying problem. He provided a very! detailed and reasonable quote, his team performed the work over a rational time period (given weather constraints) and the result was exceptionally well done. I would like to highlight a few facets of the work which I truly enjoyed: 1: the attention to detail, while the drains were flowing, it wasn't quite fast as expected, he and his team actually worked till they found a chunk of old copper drain pipe deep in the storm drain. 2: the attention to quality, the concrete work was beautifully finished, the drains were resealed after clearing 3: the project was completed in a timely fashion. While not the only project on his books, it was completed well and in a reasonable time frame.. No long waits. Overall I was very happy with Goubeaud and Company's work and I will absolutely hire them again in the future.
Zach did a great job for us on 2 of our rental properties. We've been through 3 other contractors in the last 6 months who gave us a quote and then disappeared or did a portion of the work and then never came back. Zach was at the homes within a couple days of approving the quote and he did an excellent job fixing damaged concrete on the steps, retaining wall, and sidewalk. We will definitely be using him again in the future!
The guys at Level Line did a fantastic job on our patio addition. They took the time to make sure all the little details were perfect like matching shingles and siding to the exact colors of our house and finding a concrete stamp that we didn't just like, but loved! I appreciate that he enlisted other local guys from our community to do the concrete and the electrical work. That means a lot. I would recommend Level Line to anyone looking for a professional to do any upgrades or additions on their home. I know we will definitely work with him again.
Would recommend him for any concrete work. Redid my back porch.
Disaster evaded. I couldn't be happier. My refurbished deck looks like new and is stronger and safer than new. I had a large deck, approximately 20 years old, that was ill-maintained by the previous owner and was long overdue for a major overhaul. The horizontal surfaces were rotted, pitted, splitting and splintering. I thought I needed to replace the flooring and railing with better material than pressure treated wood. I was shocked when I priced the TREX decking material necessary for what I had in mind. I consulted Ron whom I knew from our mutual interest in a charity. He discussed options and savings opportunities with me. I went with his suggestions which resulted in an extremely reasonable cost for the refurbishment. He reworked, sanded and was able to save about half the pressure treated decking. He replaced the other half with new boards. And he replaced the top surface of the railing with brightly colored TREX that provided a nice highlighting effect once Ron had cleaned and painted the entire deck. It looked like a new deck when he was done. But all that shines is not gold. In doing his due diligence, Ron checked beneath the surface (See example of what he found). The six major posts that support the deck were rotted to the core. It was only a matter of time before the deck, its contents and occupants went tumbling down. Ron provided a deep concrete foundation that extended above ground level for each post and did so at a very reasonable price while giving me the confidence that this deck is now safe and built to last. Due to Ron's diligence and professionalism, my family and I dodged a bullet. He is a highly experienced and proficient workman of exceptional character. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking the contract services he offers.
Dino was professional in every interaction whether in person or on the phone. He always answered his phone when I called or returned my message quickly. He listened carefully to the work I wanted done (construction of concrete parking pads) and provided a timely and fair quote. While I ultimately decided to hire another contractor for the project Dino remained professional and respectful even as I communicated that I was going in a different direction for the project. I would definitely consider hiring Decano Construction for future concrete projects.
Jim remodeled my back porch and converted it to an office as well as adding a small deck and stairs, tore out my exterior concrete basement steps, poured a new set and finished them off with double exterior doors. I couldn't be more pleased with the workmanship and finished product. He's my first call for my next project.
I called and set up an appointment and Clean concrete design showed up and completed the job within a timely manner. The quality of the workmanship is highly recommended. I will definitely call them for my next project. Very knowledgeable with all aspects of concrete jobs. Clean concrete did a sidewalk, steps and patio with a stamped with a gray color finish. Pictures: before it is sealed.
Mike Morrow and his company did a large, stamped, stained concrete sidewalk for our commercial building, as well as a standard concrete sidewalk and pointing of a stone foundation. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He came when he said he would come, and he did the work exactly as described and for the price he quoted. I highly recommend Morrow Contracting.
My basement floor, size approximately 435 sq. ft., needed leveled. The floor height varied up to five and six inches toward the center. It sloped downward toward the drain in the front and back upward toward the front wall. The floor was painted concrete from at least 50 years ago, and in a few spots the concrete was slightly chipped and cracked. The rear of the basement had a slight slope but was not as drastic as the front part. I had cement contractors suggesting to break up only the front half of the existing concrete and pour new concrete. I also had another flooring contractor willing to pour the leveling compound Ardex. Cost for the Ardex job would have been $3,200, but that was for using only twenty-five 50# bags of Ardex. If I needed any more bags of Ardex, I would have to assume the cost after the first 25 bags at a cost of $60.00 per bag. I was very reluctant to do this. I found Bamm Flooring and Construction with a very good rating and called them. Tony Georgevich said he could use Quikrete Concrete Mix for leveling, as long as I covered the finished floor with either slate, ceramic or porcelain tile. Tony, Adrian and Ray did an excellent job. They worked for about two weeks from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The floor still had some unevenness. However, it was 95% improved. They ended up using over 117 bags of 60# Quikrete @ $2.78/bag. I was so glad I did not use the Ardex product. After this leveling was complete, they laid the tile. This floor required 30 cartons of Brazilian Slate Porcelain. My basement floor is such an improvement that I actually love working in it now. Tony is a perfectionist and you can tell he is proud of his work. I would recommend this company for any flooring job, regardless of the difficulty. After they finished the floor, I asked if Adrian could help me unclog my gutters and insert gutter guards, which he did. Overall, I am very happy with the job that these guys did and would call on them again for flooring or other household projects.
I wanted a patio. I decided on a stamped concrete one. Also wanted a fence in the back of my yard. And some lattice work on side of deck. I am very happy with the work. Glad I went with Thumbtack.
Did a great job on our concrete stamping on the driveway and front walk way. Definitely recommend!
5+Stars-This is the only contractor you ever need to hire....custom built wooden gate, bulkhead installation, masonry work, drywall...professional and competitive prices. I highly recommend this contractor!
M&M Construction has always done excellent work. They have done everything from roofing to concrete work outside my house. Inside my house new construction and renovation in my bathroom. They have installed a brand new kitchen, installed a full bathroom and added and additional room on to my house. Always on time, gets the work done. You couldnt ask for a better contractor.
I was looking for a contractor to parge my basement wall and contacted Keith through thumbtack. I was able to talk to him immediately upon receipt of his email and schedule a next morning appointment for my job. Upon arrival, he went right to work and finished the job quickly. The work was very professional and he cleaned up at the end of the job. I thought that his charge was fair and reasonable for the service that he provided. He also let me know that he will stand behind his work if a problem would develop. I was also pleased to find out that he has others working for him that specialize in work other than just concrete and Keystone Restoration Solutions can offer these other services when I need them. I can highly recommend Keith and his company and look forward to using his services again in the future.
Concrete Parking pad and sidewalk. Frank is the best. Very concerned with making sure the job is done right. Had lots of great ideas, always checked with me before making changes. Very attentive and always in contact by phone or in person. Will have all future work done by All American Contractors. Highly recommend them.
Pressure washing and sealing. The guy knows his product and it shows! He took the time to explain what he will be doing and why. I have aggregate and regular concrete, it he made both look fantastic! I'm having my garage floor done in the fall next, and you can be sure that he will be the contractor I call. If you want professionalism, and a great job, call Mike and Pittsburgh Driveway and Garage, you'll be happy you did!
