I have to say to myself, Why haven't I done this sooner. On Friday night we had a ladies night, 5, and Tony prepared 5-6 dishes and each one was amazing, delicious. He prepares well by asking all the right questions regarding the group he is preparing for and then executes it exquisitely!! I can't wait to plan my next event with Tony and I will also be doing some cooking classes with him. Tony from all of us ladies on Fri May 29th we thank you so such a wonderful special evening.

I had the pleasure of working with Allison, she came to my house and gave me cooking lessons. She was very patient and fully explained everything she did. I learned so much from these lessons. Tanya prepared and presented a simply outstanding dinner for four at our hotel in Ocean City New Jersey last night. She brought all food, cooking equipment, created a centerpiece for the table, prepared the 4 course meal as we enjoyed drinks. Combined with Linda serving, this was just perfect! The food was gourmet and very meticulously prepared and presented. We all loved it and look forward to doing this again.

I have taken several cooking classes with Jolynn and have enjoyed them tremendously. She loves cooking and her passion shows through in her classes. She is patient and insightful. She tells the best stories about the food and the land the food comes from. At the end of each class, is the best meal prepared by Jolynn to complement the class and the conversation is intimate and fun. Jolynn provides a wonderfully beautiful experience with her cooking classes!

We used Barbara’s services for a cooking class for my friends Bachelorette Party. The class was informative and we learned a lot about raw and vegan cooking. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to try it in my own home.

The Full & Happy Yogis Table experience is like nothing else in Philadelphia. If you are looking for a unique way to unwind, relax, and enjoy a phenomenal 5 course meal in Philly then you have to try this Yoga hour + Dinner combo. NamaStacia is the yoga instructor and makes you feel like a new person by empowering you to release everything that's been holding you down and focus on just being in the moment. She works with yogis of all levels and is especially great with beginners. As for the food....well the chef, Onna, just outdoes herself with cuisines from all over the world so you get to taste new things but get that good comfort food feel too. She sends recipes and tips after every event and she is so open to helping others find their groove in the kitchen. Oh it's also BYOB which is great and you always leave...FULL AND HAPPY! Definitely recommend!

Fast, professional responses. The chef is familiar with many cuisines and helped me create a menu that my guests still talk about. The food was so good! I highly recommend hiring Comfort Cravings to cater your event. We loved the food so much that I'm planning to book the chef for a cooking class in my home.

I have hired Dineomatic a couple of times, both to teach cooking classes for my business (which were fabulous and fun!) as well as to cater my company's holiday party. Matt has a contagious love for food and flavors, and his cooking shows that. He willingly took on a South American themed menu for our party, and produced delicious, colorful dishes that my guests loved. He paired the food with festive signature cocktails that created a buzz as my guests arrived for the evening. So cool. If you are looking for a caterer to help you create a memorable event with great food and drink, hire Matt!

Donna came prepared and spent three hours patiently showing my friend and I proper knife/cutting techniques. She was very knowledgeable on the proper care of knives, the different kinds (the must-haves) and how they should be sharpened/maintained. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. I also ended the night a large/delicious dish of tabbouleh to enjoy over the next few days. I would highly recommend Donna to anyone who is looking for a personal cooking lesson/demonstration.

We had an excellent time cooking with Chris Paul. It is clear he is exceedingly knowledgeable about food and how best to prepare it. He can easily craft lessons for any skill level from novice (us) to expert (him). We had a great time learning cooking and baking basics with him over four classes. If you are interested in learning more about cooking, I highly recommend taking a class (or four).

I contacted Kathy through Thumbtack to provide a cooking class for Central Jersey Tri Delta Alumnae Chapter. Seven of us met Chef Kathy at Jersey Girl Cafe in Hamilton, NJ. We assisted Kathy and learned how to make: Tuscan white bean and organic spinach salad, Napoli Chicken, butternut squash rice pilaf and molten chocolate lava cakes. We spent about 2 hours cooking the meal and then enjoyed another hour eating it. Kathy gave great tips on everything from how to use a chef knife to the best way to keep chicken breasts from drying out in the cooking process. Along the way, she gave us information about healthy eating and freshness of vegetables we choose. Kathy has an easy-going personality. Our evening was fun, informative and delicious eating. I would definitely recommend Kathy and all her cooking/catering expertise. I look forward to doing this again sometime.

Christina was a great cooking instructor. We gave her our dietary restrictions & requirements and she developed the menu. We enjoyed learning new techniques and the food was excellent. The ginger carrot soup was the biggest hit and enjoyed again last night. Thanks Christina!!

Great hands-on teacher who really knows what he's doing. Plus, the food is sooo good!! From ingredients to cooking methods, this is the best cooking class I ever had. I learned new techniques and how to properly season, prep, and cook veggies and proteins. Definitely recommend and I'll work with him again soon. Perfect for a gift, meal prep, or to cook a whole meal for a party.

What an AMAZING experience!! We hosted Paul as our guest chef for a series of cooking classes and he delivered more than we could have ever asked for. I consider myself a guy who knows his way around the kitchen, but after one class with Paul I learned new meal preparation and cooking techniques, and feel even more confident around the kitchen... and I was the host! Our guests raved about their experience and continued to request follow up sessions. Some people even hired him as their personal or family chef! Paul is extremely personable, passionate about his craft, and a true professional!

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
