They removed all of the paneling in the basement, installed new drywall in the 4 rooms, replaced the ceiling drywall, completely renovated the bathroom, installed new light fixtures, and painted the entire basement. They did such an amazing job, that we had them move to the upstairs and fix an outside light fixture, replace glass in the door and paint 2 bedrooms. He was extremely kind to my mother who is 78 years old and hard of hearing. I live in another state and Olivert would facetime me to go over everything that his team was doing and would keep me updated throughout the entire process. If you are looking for an honest contractor that does SUPERB work, then you you need to call Olivert and his team. THANK YOU OLIVERT!!!"See more

I had Storm doors, and front door put in by the J
Evans construction. The door measurements were incorrect and the door sweep was installed to "fix" the incorrect measurement. So that there is a wide gap between the door and the sweep on both storm doors.
There are other problems with the job but I will have to do the corrections myself.

It turned out my storm door installation was simple. In order to be installed, the framing around the door had to be made to accommodate the door. He explained well why this was needed and told me how much more it would cost. I agreed to the additional cost. He steadily worked to complete the job. The new frame looks great and the storm door works well.

Excellent Work! Build Care Plus responded quickly, great communication. After sending photos of work to be done, he came out, looked over everything, and proceeded to repair the bifold doors. Came back the next day, picked up needed materials, and started work immediately…reinforced the door frame. Installed the storm door, and replaced two doorknobs. Worked quickly and efficiently. Will come back to caulk as it is raining. Would hire again.

Steve was professional, personable and most importantly efficient. I would highly recommend him. My husband & I were interested in having a storm door purchased and installed. After a terrible 4 week long process with Lowes, I turned to Thumbtack and found Steve. After 4 weeks of back and forth, Lowes told me a special order door was needed, would take 6-8 weeks to arrive, and would cost nearly $1000 to buy and install. I was in touch with Steve on a Saturday, he came out to measure by Tuesday, and realized Lowes mis-measured and the door size did not need to be special ordered. The color I wanted was special order so Steve warned me it might take 2-3 weeks to arrive but when it arrived two days later, Steve came out and installed immediately. Entire process from measuring/quote to installation with Steve was 4 days and half the price of Lowes! Great experience. I would definitely use Steve and Minnis-Brown Home Renovations again.
