I cannot recommend Liam highly enough. He says that his first priority is the client, and he is completely genuine in this. I was exploring renovating just a portion of my kitchen as part of a two part renovation plan, and I very much wanted to use him for this. He took great and painstaking care to understand my vision for the kitchen. He also very gently relayed to me that renovating only a portion of the kitchen would actually cost me more in the end. He engaged me in a gentle reflection on why I wanted to do this at this time and to consider waiting to do it. He said, "it hurts me to see you waste money." He knows that I am retired but very well me be able to go back to work at a later date. He spent over an hour with me. After thinking it through, I likely will wait and do the whole kitchen at a later date. When I told Liam this, he was kind and very supportive of the decision, which meant that he actually lost business (although, if and when I can do the full renovation, I, of course, will use him). Something else well worth mentioning is that Liam is both punctual and extremely reliable. Whenever he said he would call, he did. When he told me he would do research on Carb 2 certified cabinets and call me the following day, he did exactly that. This is characteristic of him. You really don't need to look any further for a contractor. He is genuine, conscientious, reliable, painstaking in his work and honest.

Mike and his crew were extremely professional and did great quality work in a incredibly short timeline. I've worked with a lot of contractors and BSB was top notch when it came to pricing, timeliness and overall quality. They priced the job fairly and didn't end up charging me any "extras" at the end of the project. They worked throughout the weekend and during the nights in order to keep to the extremely tight timeline we had and they turned the space over to us completed right on schedule. They also had top notch craftsmanship throughout the project and the finished space looks better than we had originally envisioned. I would highly recommend Mike and BSB Renovation for your next remodel project.

I purchased a 203K Streamline renovation property through Fannie Mae which required me to get a contractor approved by my mortgage company prior to closing. Top This was one of eight contractors that I had look at the property and quote the renovations needed to not only have the property meet code, but also some cosmetic work I wanted done. Mike was extremely accommodating and very clear in his assessment of the job and what it would take to finish the work. While others tried to charge me twice for overhead and labor (I work in accounting, so I spotted this easily), Mike's estimate was fair at a bit over $17K. The job was broken down into itemized descriptions as requested by the mortgage company and very clearly outlined the work that would be done. The job included, but was not limited to: water damage repair, coating the roof, tearing down an unsafe deck that was beyond repair, re-wiring the electric for the entire house and reconnecting cut wires, reconnecting all of the plumbing that had been ripped out and stolen, replacement of all radiators in the home, replacement of parts and repair of the furnace and water heater, put in a new bath/shower in the bathroom, drywall, and replacement and capping of windows. All work was completed with high level of standards and was very clean. The work was completed in about a month, during which Mike consistently updated me on the progress of each part of the job. We routinely had walk-throughs so he could show me what was completed and what part of the job they were moving to next. Because the experience was so positive, I ended up adding on a few items which he quoted for me and completed while he was working on the original job. It was a pleasure working with Top This, and I am now blessed with a beautiful new home. In the future, I definitely plan on using Top This again if I have another project. I highly recommend them.

What can I say about such a wonderful experience as having my entire top floor renovated? Not many people can say that about working with contractors- I had heard some nightmares but not with PRDR. In a week they managed to transform what I thought was an unfixable mess into what looks like a hotel. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s been 3 months and I still walk down the hallway - which had no Sheetrock on the ceilings due to a roofing nightmare - and I’m in awe! 2 bedrooms , a bath and the entire stairwell all had new ceilings, new walls where some had gone down to the brick, and the entire thing painted in a week! They were punctual to a fault- never late and Never left early. Wanda talked with me at length before we started and helped me figure out things down to the right color for the walls!! I had a totally unrelated plumbing problem during the time they were there and the “ guys” fixed it for me as a favor!! If you are looking for honest, hard working, and skilled workers( and so friendly!!) this is the company to choose!! I would refer them to any and every one!!

ZERO STARS FOR KING CROSS LLC . Project: Complete garage renovation. Paint walls grey. Epoxy floor. Hildener was the woman who I spoke with and sent pictures of what I wanted. My garage ceiling was lowered without asking me if it was ok to do. As a result of work done to walls and garage ceiling lowered, my garage door was rubbing on new drywall resulting in a jammed garage door. Before Hildener and her workers started the job, I could open my garage door all of the way. Because of their work, I had to hire a professional to install a smaller garage door. Moreover, I had to keep sending Hildener pictures over and over again of how I wanted my floor to look. Hildener is horrible with attention to detail. First picture is what I sent to her several times saying this is what I want my garage floor to look like and second picture is what they did. I hated it so they removed because they applied beige paint over top of grey and because the beige wouldn’t dry, they had to remove all off the garage floor and afterwards they just threw paint on my garage floor, third picture It took them two weeks to do this. My garage floor has a crack in it and they didn’t even care to fix it. The drywall wasn’t painted. It’s just drywall. I asked to tighten my downspout and this is what I got, fourth picture. They filled the downspout with this white stuff resulting in my downspout leaking at the bottom, fifth picture. My lights kept going out while the worker was in my garage and I own a daycare. So the children were subject to my lights going off. I made such a big mistake by selecting King Cross LLC. I kept getting excuse after excuse, delays, no show resulting in me having to call Hildener for explanation as to why no one was here working. Excuse after excuse. I paid her $3,500 for a disaster and regret ever paying. I’m considering taking this to small claims court because I clearly did not get what I paid for. I DO NOT RECOMMEND KINGS CROSS LLC.
