Latest Review: My name is Kelly and Erin Kenney has been a long time friend of mine. She was my roommate for 3 years in college and boy did she save my health. I started off running long distances in college (very slowly by the way). I remember living with Erin and noticing how dedicated she was to her health. I would be shoving my face with doritos and starbursts while Erin was eating quinoa and bananas. I began to become frustrated because I was not seeing results from all of my running. My goal at that point was to lose weight. One day, I decided to ask Erin. I knew she was a nutrition major and seemed to be the perfect person to ask because I was putting in the work but I just wasn’t getting the results I wanted. I remember her saying, “Kelly, you love to run but you don’t eat like you love to run.” I remember thinking, huh? What does that mean? She further explained that my body needed the proper nutrients in order to get the results I was working so hard for.
Fast forward a few years, I lost roughly 20 pounds just from her guidance of trying to eat more food ! She gave me great options and always had an alternative if I had a craving. Finally, I decided I needed to ditch the running because honestly, I was getting bored of it. I started doing Crossfit ironically enough (seeing that I am 5’11, this isn’t common for someone my height and female). Immediately, I began to notice I was sore and run down all of the time. I felt that I was eating okay, but I needed something to change. I wanted to get bigger now!
So, I called Erin! At this point, I had realized that she was the nutrition guru. From making me protein waffles to teaching me that cocoanut oil is your friend, I knew that she was the perfect person for me to run to once again. Now, I have been doing crossfit for three years, six days a week. Erin has been my nutrition coach through the entire process. With her guidance, I have seen extreme changes in my body composition. She created a meal plan specific for my needs with food I LIKED! (Like I previously said, my diet consisted of doritos and starbursts and a lot of donuts). Besides creating an easy to follow, true to my food preferences, and helpful food plan, she has always been there when I need her. If I cheat or want a substitute, she answers me right away, that is why Erin is special. Her ability to give me substitutes or help me when I cheat is what has kept me on my plan.
She is kind, caring, strong, compassionate, and intelligent. You are not a number to her, you are a person who wants to change for the better. Please, take my UTMOST recommendation for Erin. Whatever your goals are, she can help you! She has been my sole guidance in both losing fat and gaining muscle. If you are looking for a change or just need to take control of your health, she is the perfect person for you!
