I was a relative beginner to the guitar when I started lessons with Otis. From the first lesson he was patient, encouraging and enthusiastic. He tailors the lessons to the types of music and songs you are interested in. He has a wide range of music knowledge and styles which make him an ideal teacher who can help any student take that first step toward becoming a guitar player or help a seasoned player hone their skills. Highly recommended!
I took acoustic guitar lesson with Andy for 6 years before moving out of the area. He is an outstanding teacher. I learned more from Andy in those 6 years than in the 40 years prior of playing guitar. I highly recommend him for anyone from beginner to experienced.
I have taken guitar lessons from Alan Donati for a number of years in order to better understand music. Being a weathered rock/blues drummer myself, I can attest that Alan is a very accomplished musician and seasoned music teacher who learned his craft via years of playing in rock, blues and jazz bands as well as attending Berklee as a solid foundation. Alan can teach a number of instruments well such as guitar, bass and piano alongside incorporating music theory with the practical applications. He is very adapt with technology as well as “old school”. I have seen Alan teach many students with great patience with tailored attention to the particular student’s interest. Some veteran musicians can only play well but not teach. However, Alan can obviously do both. And so I am giving Alan an outstanding review and rating.
Wanted to take piano lessons, so I called the owner, Kris, and he made me feel very confident and comfortable in going with his studio. Charlie, my piano teacher, is very good. He's attentive, patient, and most importantly challenges me. Great experience so far. Highly recommended.
David has been teaching me guitar for a little over a month now. I have already seen great advances in my technique, rhythm, and understanding of music. I have been playing guitar for 9 years off and on, and I have never had professional lessons. I can say that after a month with David, I am playing better than I ever have and believe that my guitar playing skills will continue to progress rapidly with David's help. His teaching technique is very casual and fun, almost conversational, and his insights are spot on. He is exactly what I hoped for in an instructor when I started looking at guitar lessons and I would highly recommend him for anyone who loves guitar, regardless of their skill level. He is a 'must hire' professional!
Just bought my new guitar, got a free music lesson and learned my favorite song. I am totally impressed thanks you so much. I can't wait until my next lesson.
I have three guitar lessons with Evan and he has already given me so much great stuff to work on! I had been teaching myself for about six months, but Evan has done so much more for me and shown me so many ways to improve. I am really looking forward to continuing learning from him.
My boys started learning guitar with Felix and have continued to grow and now love playing for the past several years. His methodology of teaching makes the learning fun and exciting with the ability to start playing the instrument immediately without even knowing how to read sheet music. Felix makes the learning experience a very positive one and one that my boys have cherished. I highly recommend him to anyone who really wants to learn to play guitar.
I’ve been a guitar student of Pierre Fortin going on two years. I knew immediately that Pierre was going to be a very good fit for me. He has a wonderful teaching method and vast knowledge. I’ve become so confident with him that any time I find myself struggling with something, all I need to do is give him a short explanation and in seconds he understands and explains how to correct it. It’s amazing to me that he is able help me so expeditiously. He is a very patient instructor. And not only is he a great guitar instructor, he really has become a good friend. I would highly recommend Pierre whether your simply looking to improve your playing skills or just starting to play the guitar. I feel quite fortunate that I found Pierre for my guitar instructor. You’ll find it quite evident when he tells you, “I love what I do.” And he really does.
Mike is great teacher. He keeps the lessons interesting and challenging. He is also very motivating! I can't recommend Mike enough! A++ experience.

She was always very patient and always encouraged my son to reach the highest goal he could achieve. Her greatest ability is how she connects with my son, and customizes his piano lessons according to his strengths, while challenging him. She is a very concerned and caring teacher." "Our daughter enjoys her lessons with Mrs. Nicole, and has learned to play very complex piano pieces, as well as learned to read music. In addition to teaching her regular piano pieces, she also taught Ashwini to play some fun Disney music pieces. Mrs. Nicole is very responsible and a very conscientious teacher. She was never in a hurry to finish her lessons, and she was very punctual." Visit my website or Facebook (centerstagelessons).

Hi, my name is Frank Murphy, and I'm 42. I've been playing guitar for 30 years. Playing guitar is my favorite thing to do and teaching it is just one of its many rewards. Because of the guitar, I've been in bands that have toured. I've recorded several times for myself as well as doing sessions for blues, jazz, rock, metal, country, and shred. I've performed for thousands, and I've met some of the most interesting people. I teach in a manner which will lead you to finding your own voice on the guitar as an individual. I am well versed in music theory. Lessons are $60 for 30 minutes.
I am a professional guitarist and songwriter. My passion for music began in elementary school. I have been taking guitar lessons since I was eight years old and have been teaching for over five years. I've dedicated my life to sharing the emotional well-being that comes with making music you love and with being creative.
I have been teaching one-on-one lessons for close to 18 years. I am an enthusiastic and creative instructor to all ages and skill levels. For beginning students, I teach the basic mechanics of the instrument, how to read music, and within a month the student will be learning songs of their choice.
I'm an artist, musician, and writer. For many years, I've really enjoyed passing along the guitar and writing skills I've developed. Helping someone learn to play the guitar and express themselves is the greatest reward for any time spent in teaching. Reading and writing are the foundation of communication and make one's way to the world. I haven't met a person yet that wanted to develop his/her skill at reading or writing who did not achieve his/her goals working with me.
I cater to all levels of playing. Rock is my specialty. I have been teaching for over 30 years now. I started out at a store in Dartmouth, called The Music Barn. Then, I moved to a store in Fairhaven, called Chic's House of Drums, and finally, I moved to Symphony Music and taught there for 15 years.
