Mike used the big duct cleaner thing and, put in a cool UV light, and even explained how everything works to kill the black mold and prevent it from coming back. He even showed me pictures of my ducts, and they were nasty. In only a couple of hours, I could breathe better, and stopped using my inhaler a day or two later. I swear even my cat stopped sneezing as much! I recommended him to all of my family members in the Charleston area, and he even sent a tech all the way to Savannah for my grandmother :) I’ll be getting serviced by FreshAir every time to be able to breathe like this always."See more

When we initially got three bids to replace our ductwork last year, we found ourselves being heavily pressured by two other companies to replace our HVAC unit itself which was outside our budget. Thomas did not treat us like a job and was very informative about other options we had short of replacing a unit that was only slightly too big for our house square footage. Highly recommend Southern Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning!! Mr. Claude McAlhany, service rep/owner, responded to my service call the same day. It was a Saturday and he did not charge any additional fee for weekend support. The problem with my AC was that no cool air was coming out of my vents. Mr. McAlhany was able to resolve the issue within 30 mins. I had blown out capacitor and low freon. Fair price and the lowest labor rate compared to other places that I contacted. Mr. McAlhany took the time to answer my questions and provided quality service. If you have any HVAC concerns recommend you contact Southern Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning first.

I had to have my A/C unit serviced due to some issues that were caused by a previous HVAC company. I contacted The GOAT and they responded immediately. I was able to set up an appointment instantly. They were flexible enough to work with my schedule and time of day. Cullen came out and was able to identify the issue in less than 15 minutes. He explained in detail what was wrong and the solution to the problem. He gave me a detailed overview of the parts expense which was very reasonable. He was able to install two new dampers in about 5 minutes and explained their maintenance plan which we will be using from here on out. And because I needed two dampers they were able to offer me a $200 discount! This was the easiest/stress free experience I have ever had with any professional maintenance service ever. The GOAT will be my first and only call from now on. Every bit of the 5 stars!

First, the employees were all very nice. Unfortunately, my experience went as followed: 1. They came out to fix a leak in my AC unit. 2. The first technician believed it was probably clogged so used a brush and some air to clear the line. He said the leak should be now be fixed once the unit is turned back on runs for a couple hours. I paid $300. 3. The leak did not stop so I called back and they sent out a different technician the following day. 4. The second technician correctly assessed the issue was a damaged fitting connected to the exit pipe. 5. After calling the manufacturer, he informed me that since the unit was old, they no longer made the required replacement part and my only option was a new unit. 6. Not wanting to spend $5,000-$10,000, my friend with HVAC experience stopped over to take a look and fixed the issue in 15 minutes (moved the exit pipe two inches to the other dual exit line with a clean pipe fitting). In short, I feel like I was hustled but am thankful for my friend.
