Linda has been teaching piano to my two children for the past five years, and we could not ask for a more patient, caring, professional teacher. She genuinely loves what she does. She provides the right amount of motivation which comes from really getting to know each student. We are so happy with our children's progress. They are encouraged every step of the way while also being challenged. And we know that the real reason they are still even interested in piano is because of Linda.
My daughter enjoys her piano lessons with Ms. Wilson. She uses creative games to make learning fun and cares about the development of each of her students. My daughter enjoys the games and skill building assigned practice time on the iPad as well as the traditional keyboard time. The variety keeps practice interesting and provides great options to practice on the go. My daughter looks forward to her lessons and the encouragement she receives as she grows as a student.
Miss Wilson was very patient and gentle with my beginner piano student. I was able to see progress within a few weeks. She gives confidence, steady guidance and love in every lesson. My daughter LOVES Miss Wilson and wants to be taught by her for the rest of her life!
My 17 year old daughter and I are taking piano and voice lessons from Mrs. Brinson. She is very professional and efficient. She is willing to help students define and achieve their own unique goals.
Valetta did a fantastic job with our young daughter. She was very patient & made my daughter feel comfortable. I would highly recommend her to anyone who requires piano lessons for their child.
Valetta is very attentive to me as a student. She teaches in a clear way and my piano playing has tangibly grown since she began teaching me. Highly recommend!
Great teachers & great services!! My kid is having so much fun playing the piano!
I can take a choir with average voices and lead them to become an outstanding group. The First United Methodist Church of Mt Pleasant had an average of 8 - 12 singers. When I left they were averaging 20 and above and were singing music at the top of their ability and loving it. I know how to challenge singing voices.
Incredibly helpful, responsive, and effective with a great teacher referral. Thank you!

I have been teaching piano and voice lessons since 2000. I believe anyone can learn to make music. No matter your age or previous experience, you can find a way to express yourself. My mission is to meet every student where they are at and find the way that helps them become more proficient in their music-making. Piano is one of the most accessible instruments, and I have never met a student who couldn't play. Give it a try; no matter what anyone else has said, I guarantee that with time, work, and patience, you will be able to make music. I also believe that singing is one of our most primal expressions of emotion, and whether you have a hard time keeping a tune or you've been singing your whole life, I can help expand your ability to use your voice in whatever way you choose. I am able to provide music education in the following ways: Piano lessons for children and adults (1st grade and up) - Pop - Jazz - Classical Voice lessons for teens and adults (15 and up) - Pop - Jazz - Classical I also offer lessons in music theory and coaching for songwriters. My rates are: - $25 base rate per half-hour lesson - $30 in your home (within Memphis city limits) - $35 in your home (outside Memphis city limits, within a 30-minute drive)
I can teach you how to play the piano/keyboards by ear so that if you can hear it you will be able to play it. I can also teach you to play any kind of drums.
I am able to explain & teach my students on a level that most other music instructors cannot... I teach my students how to "see" the music.
