My best friend and I went to Nashville for a "girls weekend". We included an afternoon of shopping with a stylist, Emily, from Effortless Style. Emily was fabulous! She gave us great tips for our wardrobe planning, she challenged us to try new things, photographed some fun times and gave great advice about Nashville in general. Emily was easy to work with, genuine and so much fun. By the end of the day it was like shopping with a friend more than someone we had just met. I recommend Effortless Style and Emily!

Not only is Chrissy an amazing makeup artist, she is an amazing person. When everything with my Wedding was going wrong, she made this experience the easiest, the most fun, and the least stressful. She is very accommadating and was willing to travel to do our makeup and our trial run. On the day of my Wedding EVERYONE looked stunning, and everyone was very happy with their makeup. Even my husband complimented my makeup. He said I wasn't overly made up and my makeup wasn't caked on. He said it was perfect and I agree with him. I'm already planning to have Chrissy do a makeup and hair party for my teenage daughters, and the same thing plus wine for my friends and I. The only reason I didn't use Chrissy for my hair is because I alrady had a hairstylist for my Wedding. Chrissy is very sweet and makes everyone feel comfortable. After speaking with her a couple times I felt like I had known her for years. I would and have been recommending Chrissy to everyone I know. She is truly amazing at what she does. From the moment I contacted her for a consultation, I knew that Regan was the right fit for me as a bride, and for my wedding party. Regan was genuinely interested in my wedding day vision and took the time to ask important preliminary questions about my skin tendencies, make up use, and overall beauty habits prior to my make up trial. I felt that Regan and I established a great working relationship during the make up trial and were very clear on our "day of" plan by the end of the trial. She valued my input and respected my desire for a more natural-looking appearance. Additionally, Regan was flexible with my geographic location, which was outside of her immediate service region, and worked with my busy schedule to help ease my stress levels during a very chaotic time. Regan's personable nature and caring spirit made me feel calm and beautiful as we prepped the morning of the wedding.     I could not have imagined our special day without the help of Ashley as our Day of Coordinator. I was on the fence about hiring a coordinator at all (since I was so concerned with our budget), but I don't know what I would have done without her. My hope was to have someone to be the point person for the entire wedding day, and she did the job beautifully! You can tell she has a real passion for this business, and with her getting married a year ago, she really knows what a bride needs and expects from a planner and coordinator. She remained very organized and on top of everything. She kept in constant communication with myself and the vendors, making sure no detail was left out. The day of the wedding, she kept the staff, vendors, and wedding party on the timeline we had set out. It was very organized but did not have to be to the minute which is what I wanted for our guests and wedding party. It was able to flow perfectly without being rushed from one event to the next. If there was ever a hiccup, she handled it with ease and discretion, because my husband and I just had an absolute blast without any stress or worry. She worked so hard from assisting with all of the set up and tear down, cuing the transitions from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception, and then to departure. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200.     When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

    • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
    • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.

    Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

    Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more.
