This isn't your ordinary, run of the mill trainers--After our initial work out, Pree understood what I was looking for and connected me with a female trainer who's timings fit in around my schedule. Stephanie is amazing. She's very knowledgeable, has a wonderful personality, and will push you beyond your mental and physical limits. Leslie has been amazing! In just a few short weeks she's helped me transform myself from the inside out. Hi everyone! So where do I start?. I had a baby 17 months ago. I ended up having to have a cesarean and 6 weeks after that I had gall bladder surgery. For me this was one of the hardest times for my body and because he was my first baby, all I wanted to do was spend time with him( son no time for working out). Luckily my awesome trainer Devon reached out to me in December about doing some personal training sessions with him and after the first day, I was hooked. Devon is AMAZING, he is so passionate about personal training and about his clients. I have used different personal trainers in the past and none of the others have made me feel as comfortable as he has. Even when I felt like I couldn't finish a workout, he pushed me every single session. I promise your butt will be kicked every single time. I’ve had Andrew as a trainer for about 4 months now. Since I started working out with him, I’ve lost so far 35 pounds. My body fat has decreased. I’ve lost inches off my arms, waist, and thighs, and have gone down 2 dress sizes. Also, my nutrition has drastically improved thanks to his guidance. I have had nothing but great experiences working with Kenneth and Pure Ambition. As someone who had not worked out regularly in years, Kenneth's style of training fit me perfectly. He presented exercises to help me reach my personal goals and even more. He always challenges you with things you may not think you can do, yet he will be there right beside you encouraging you to push through and even working out along side you. Chris really knows how to build your metabolism and is constantly updating his knowledge. Some personal trainers will have you do endless hours of cardio while skimping on the calories, not Chris! Brittany is the first trainer I've ever worked with, but I'm very glad to have found her. During our first session I felt that she was easy to talk to and very thorough in body assessment, health history, and my goals for improving my health and fitness. When it came time for the workout she was encouraging and extremely attentive to form. When she mentioned a diet plan, I was a little scared as I've never meal prepped and certainly didn't want to be hungry. She said I wasn't getting enough calories and I've yet to be hungry (the first few days I even had a hard time eating all of the food). The plan she offered is easy to prep and delicious. I'm 5 days in and have had a consistent weigh in of 1lb down for 2 days now (my weight fluctuates daily so I'll take that as a win!). She's there to check in, and very responsive when I have questions. Client's Perspective I worked with Steve Baldino; an exceptionally knowledgable trainer and effective communicator. Steve took the time to explain things in language that made sense to me. I signed up for personal training at a gym in my building. I hadn't gone to a gym regularly in years, and have all sorts of issues with my shoulder (arthritis, rotator cuff, etc.). I was paired with Steve. He comes to me, so there are no excuses for me not to workoutc and he knows a ton about how the body works. He spent time listening to my goals and learning about my shoulder issues, and has helped me recognize how a lot of my natural movements are causing me pain. He's been manically focused on form, and as a result, I've been able to do a lot of exercises without pain that would have previously been excruciating. Because Steve comes to me (so I'm exercising regularly), and because I'm now doing movements the right way, I'm feeling much more fit and inspired to exercise even on days when I'm not scheduled to meet Steve. One thing that was very important to me was selecting 24 sessions with a personal trainer; I realized I needed expert assistance/guidance to achieve the physical health/looks I desired. During our first meeting, Eric asked me several detailed questions to determine my fitness goals, eating habits, and past physical history. Then, he utilized all this data to plan his first session for our 24. He first asked me to keep a detailed account of my daily caloric intake to monitor my diet. It was quickly determined that I needed to make a significant change. My goal was to lose 20 lbs first then work on the muscle gain. With the help of Eric and an intense cardio regiment the weight came off fast. I was very pleased with the progress after the first 24 sessions. Eric is an excellent trainer. I came to him from a previous trainer, whom I liked personally, but whose training style was no longer a match. I came to Franki as a person who had NEVER stepped foot on a gym. From a dance and Yoga background, I was looking to gain strength and lose a few pounds. I trained with Franki for 5 months doing semi-private sessions but unfortunately had to move out of state for school! During my time with her, I dropped two jean sizes and felt stronger than I had ever felt before. Franki is extremely friendly and encouraging, and you will never feel judged or uncomfortable at The Phoenix Project. The facility is very clean, has amazing vibes, and is never too crowded! I would recommend anyone who wants to get in shape to join this gym ask for Franki. She knows exactly how to work you out in order to help you achieve your fitness goals and will adjust every exercise to accommodate injuries. Aside from that, Franki is super down to earth and someone who I would genuinely look forward to seeing on a weekly basis.

I've doing remote programing at Phoenix for 2 months now. When I started, I could barely do more than 1 pull up, now I can sets of 5 to 10 reps. Coach Franki has modified my training around a shoulder injury and to strenghten my grip while making all other numbers increase. She has been very professional with me, and makes working out fun. Some times I exclusively go to Austin to join her group classes, they are totally worth the drive, she has agreat crowd and close community. Training at The Phoenix project has not only made me stronger, I've made friends and those changes have carried to other aspects of my life.

My experience working with Xavier has been nothing short of amazing. As a former athlete I was looking to get back into shape and regain some of my youth. Over the course of working with Xavier I dropped over 30 lbs. while gaining a fair amount of muscle for a 40 year old. Many of the aches and pains were gone as my body transformed and I implemented the nutrition and weight training routines provided by Xavier. The knowledge I have gained has enabled me to live the active lifestyle that seemed far out of reach 4 years ago. Regardless of your age or gender...he works to develop lifestyle changes that his clients can implement and sustain for years to come. Even though he has moved to TX from MD, I still utilize many of the things he's taught me and have passed his knowledge along to other people walking the same path I was 4 years ago. This is a great place to exercise and ensure that it's done correctly. Several months after a car accident, I needed to get in shape again without reinjuring my back because trying my own exercises made the pain worse. My trainer Xavier tailored my workouts to fit my unique health needs. Every day I'm getting stronger and my back pain has almost completely gone away! It's motivating to feel such improvement so fast.
