Anitabh M. says, "After reviewing all the contractors, we picked NTBHM as they came out with the best price and had provided a detailed estimate. The estimate also was like a blueprint of what they were going to do. It gave us a good understanding of what is needed to accomplish these somewhat complex projects. The Traditional Indian Swing installation was super complex to achieve. One company gave me renderings of what they can do but quoted a very high amount. NTBHM initially had different plans but they came for a in-person visit and then leaned towards the same option which other company gave. But their estimate was almost 1/2 the cost of other company. They gave us a date of just 2 days after we confirmed to go ahead with them. We were given a plan of what is coming up but when the crew arrived they decided to play it different. The first thing they did was to cover all existing furniture in the room. They then built the platform for media room. They made sure that the platform was strong and sturdy. They asked for the paint used for the walls in media room and came next day to complete media room painting. For Swing they got treated wood which had a big crack. Once we told them to bring a new one they immediately got a new one. This time though we found that treated wood beam is not good for indoor because of off-gassing chemicals. I spoke to Alan and Troy and they then decided to order new wooden beam. The project got pushed to next week but upon request to get strong untreated Douglas Fir wooden beam, Alan went himself and got one. The crew then got going and then installed the swing. As the beam was going to take all the dynamic load of Swing and people sitting on it, the lead foreman Primo made sure to find the right plates and Studs which will take the load. He found the right spot and then made sure that the beam is secured really well. Primo is very knowledgeable and was a framer before working for NTBHM. His assistants Walter and Ronnie were good support. They did everything precisely as laid out by Primo. They all were very good to work with. I’m super impressed with the communication Alan and Troy maintain with their clients. Right from putting everything on the estimate to then executing everything to the T. The only thing I would encourage NTBHM to do is the prep required to start the job. The crew and the leadership have to communicate little better so that there are no stoppages or delays in any project. Also, the material and things which are agreed are what goes into the final project. For all my future projects, I’ll definitely hire NTBHM. Highly recommended. The reviews on google speaks for themselves."See more
