Started from the bottom and working our way up. Learning to read music along the way. Georgie Starr is an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable in guitar and other instruments. Very reasonably priced for the quality of lessons that you get. I will continue to take lessons from him until he pushes me out the door. Very highly recommended...

It was through a Google search that I found this site, thumbtack, and used its service to find a guitar instructor. I consider myself fortunate having met and being able to take lessons with Michael. He takes the time to learn a prospective student's background to tailor a customized curriculum for the new student. I've been piddling around with guitars for over 20 years and he's helping me mend my haphazard style into a more solid, well rounded, and longer term playing form. My interest is parallel development understanding the theoretical under-pinning of music alongside with the fundamental techniques of guitar playing. Michael is skilled in technique, knowledgeable in theory, broad in approach, and enthusiastic about teaching. He's well organized and professional. All the positive qualities one would want from an instructor.

I have been taking lessons from Damon every weekend for 6 months, and I can’t tell you how much learning from him has changed my musicianship. Before I went to him I was timid and unsure of myself as a musician, but after a short time I started seeing significant improvements. Career changing improvements. Not only did Damon fix my bad vocal tendencies, but he gave me amazing opportunities to sing around Dallas, and continues to do so. Most of all, he helped me to define myself as the artist I knew was inside of me somewhere, but was thwarted by years of rejection and mistakes. Damon taught me how to be confident, proud, and true to myself and the music I wanted to make. Thanks to him I am now writing my debut EP the way I want to. The way I always knew I could.

A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning. ~Brad Henry Liam does all of the above with ease. He is excellent at being able to understand his students needs and work with them no matter what level. I was hesitant, as a beginner to even take lessons from such a highly skilled teacher. He immediately put my fears to rest. He has put me at ease and made my piano experience fun. I look forward to continuing my journey with such a talented and humble teacher. I would highly recommend him to anyone at any level.

I'm so glad I found a guitar teacher like Vic. I have always been interested in learning to play guitar and wanted the best instruction possible. With only a few lessons, I feel that I've grasped concepts of music theory and already become a better player. He's patient, kind, and a very skilled musician. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. I completely recommend working with him!

Dennis has been an excellent teacher. He is clearly knowledgable about guitar playing and is an effective teacher for my learning style. My lessons have been fun as well as educational covering both necessary fundementals and fun stuff! He is very personal and welcoming. I take my lessons in his lovely home and am always made to feel comfortable. He has been very accomodating and understanding when I have had scheduling issues and he makes prompt return contact. I would recommend him as a teacher.

f you’re looking for serious results and a no-nonsense approach to learning an instrument, I highly recommend The Ridglea School of Music. Taking music lessons as an adult can be intimidating. You don’t really know how your secret inner-desire to be a rock star will be taken by those you share it with. Usually people just smile and nod. The only thing that’s a sure thing, is that you’ll find someone who will take your money and tell you “good job.” Why bother, right? It’s so much easier to just sit at home and play the same tabs over and over again and pat yourself on the back. From my first lesson with my teacher Eric, he took my dreams of starting a band and showed me how to make them happen. Eric met me where I was and gently let me know what I needed to work on. I never felt intimidated or embarrassed. I wanted results and Eric showed me how I could achieve them the right way.

I contacted several competitors prior & they would take long to reply. Zera was not. They responded quickly, politely, & set things up very easily. No back & forth. They have a good interactive site. You can pay online. Very easy people to work with. As far as the lessons, my son is liking it, he looks forward to his lessons every week. I cant ask for more. He is learning bass guitar with Jordan.

Michael is quite proficient in both his own abilities on guitar and also his ability to teach. He is patient, and happy to answer all my questions which I appreciate as an intermediate-level guitarist. He was happy to tailor my lessons to specific areas that I already knew I wanted to address, as opposed to forcing me into a highly structured, pre-determined lesson plan, which again I appreciate. I highly recommend Michael for anyone looking to become a better guitar player and musician.

I have been with Pete going on a year and really enjoy my lessons. I am a late senior learner and have specific things I want to learn... Blues and Boogie Woogie. Pete listened to my needs and has given me great direction. I still struggle with reading music and changing chords quickly, but I know that will come with practice. Great patient teacher!

Zach taught me bass guitar for almost two years and it went extremely well. The lessons I received from him were fast paste whether it was jazz or funk the music I learned was new and awesome to me. We covered some very fundamental rules and jazz standards that helped take me to the next step. Seems like Zach knows a lot about what he's doing.

I began taking guitar lessons from Kenneth when I was 14, and right away, I noticed his ability to mold the lesson into an experience that fit 𝘮𝘺 musical interests and what I wanted to learn. Whether I wanted to learn theory, practice a certain technique or rudiment, or just have fun learning a song, Kenneth could always adapt and make the lesson interesting and enriching. This is a quality that many music teachers lack, and it’s the aspect of his teaching that kept me enticed for so long. In addition to being a great teacher, Kenneth is a passionate music fan of many different genres, and through taking lessons with him, I was exposed to many new musical concepts that opened my eyes to the world of music I was yet to discover. Though I no longer take lessons, I can say for sure that my time with Kenneth has made me a much more skilled, receptive and well rounded musician, and I am very thankful for all the things I learned.

Andra is a dear friend of mine. She is incredibly talented, easy to relate to, and she has a wonderful presence about her. She has helped me with learning how to better express myself through music and has taught me a thing or two on the bass guitar. I would highly recommend her as a teacher!
