We recently discovered a gas leak inside our home and multiple leaks on the exterior to the outdoor kitchen, pool and generator. Our gas company came out and of course they had to shut off our gas. First thing I did was to call our go to plumbing company, a big name company but we were met with an outrageously expensive quote over $15k so we sought a second opinion. I went to thumbtack and found Blue Otter Plumbing & Drain. Here’s a mom of 4 kids youngest 1 and oldest 13. I felt like I was living a nightmare. No heat, the last few days had been pretty cold, no hot water, no stove to cook, we’ve been eating out daily. Boy was I glad I found this company! They sent James Brant, their master plumber, He came in and showed care and empathy to our situation. We instantly felt he was God sent. From the moment we met James, I knew he was the right person for the job. As a master plumber, he brought expertise, confidence, and genuine care to his work. He carefully explained what happened, how he would diagnose the problem, and how he planned to fix everything—starting from the least invasive methods before moving to more extensive repairs if needed. His professionalism, attention to detail, and integrity were evident throughout the process. At the end, we paid almost 50% less than the initial quote from the big name company. I’m sincerely grateful for the honesty, skill, and customer-first approach James demonstrated. He is competent with conveying knowledge of the work and performing the task. The before / after were seamless and no mess, completed in a timely manner, with a confirmation of quality work.Following the company protocol, he discussed the work request, as well as, all the other plumbing areas - to ensure all things are appropriate. Next, an estimate was provided with the scope of work. Then work completed. We were very comfortable with Cameron in our home independently completing the replacement. Definitely, keep / recommend for future plumbing needs.The pricing is higher, in the range for larger service providers estimates, which was discussed. The hope is to see future savings as the business grows and adjusts to the Aubrey market. We have previously had yearly maintenance contracts with the HVAC side of the business and plan to continue with Sailors Air & Plumbing to support our local community."See more
