We had an awesome session with Katie at the Bachelorette party we threw in Austin! The bride had wanted a fun yoga class one morning and Katie was the perfect fit! We had a very relaxing (yet, sweaty) morning workout by the pool. Katie was quick with a personalized message and I could tell she really read my message thoughtfully and delivered exactly what we wanted. She was on time and a blast to work with! Thanks, Katie!
Alice instructed a yoga class during my friend’s bachelorette weekend and we couldn’t have been more pleased. To give her a 10/10 wouldn’t be adequate to describe how happy we all were with Alice and her class. Alice put so much thought and care into preparing the perfect class for us and her execution matched her effort ahead of time. Alice is a true professional and worked to personalize the class both for the theme of love and “open hearts” (even teaching us all a special mudras that we are still talking about!) and also for the skill level of each yogi in her class. You can’t find a better private yoga instructor than Alice and I would seek her out for this exact experience again if I’m in Austin!

About the time I turned 50 I realized my boot camp workout were over, so on the recommendation of a friend, I sought out Carole. The minute I saw her smiling face, I could feel the her positive energy. I didn't know what she could do for me, but I just had to do it! Over the course of our sessions, Carole was able to zero in on my kinks and prescribe exercises that targeted problem areas while understanding that as we get older, some of us need to exercise more efficiently. More weights, stretching and a little lower intensity really helped me immensely. Carole is constantly pursuing knowledge and experience in new areas of health and fitness to bolster her already commanding knowledge. Plus, she has a philosophy that encompasses both Eastern and Western approaches to health. Her impressive background in mixed martial arts and body building are always present so if you want to go for it, she will take you there! If you just want to focus on restorative techniques and yoga, she can help you with that, too. She's extremely flexible from session to session, depending on what your body is saying that day. I can't express enough how much I enjoy training with Carole and how much she has helped me. I highly recommend her.
I had an amazing private yoga class with Jamie. She is an excellent yoga teacher and human being. She has an outstanding background and is certified to train both novices and aspiring yoga teachers. Highly recommended!!
Sarah's yoga classes are phenomenal! Not only are they beneficial to your body, they soothe the soul as well! She makes you feel comfortable and has a very welcoming way about her. I highly recommend her for group or private lessons.
I've had a few private yoga classes with Abi and she really knows her stuff. She gave me just the right cues to really transform a few balancing poses that were giving me trouble, and she gives adjustments and suggestions that are subtle but totally change and open your practice. Her approach to yoga isn't only physical, but is totally grounded and approachable. She's also very personable and puts you right at ease.
I love taking Zoe's Groov3 class, and Standup Paddleboard yoga classes. She is so kind, loving and has a big heart. She makes you feel welcome, and involved with the group. She loves what she does, and she passes that love on to her students. I am so glad I met her, and really love her classes!
What can I say about Beata? I knew that I needed someone to help me get started as I've never really considered myself graceful or someone who has good balance. Also, through various injuries throughout my life I wanted to be able to become more flexible and learn how to relax more. I couldn't have asked for a better yoga instructor. First and foremost Jill is such an amazing individual, which then feeds into every aspect of her teaching. She doesn't just see yoga as something physical. But through her class, she takes you on a journey home to yourself. You can tell that there is a deep purpose behind what she has chosen to dedicate herself to. Her love oozes out onto her students and makes them feel safe and grounded while also encouraging them to take risks and go deeper into their practice. She helps you feel comfortable & challenged... which generates so much personal growth. She is great for ALL LEVELS, from beginners to those who have been practicing for a long time.
Lauren is warm, engaging, and an accomplished professional able to work with all levels of ability. As an instructor she is easy to follow and always offers a satisfying combination of poses. Her voice envelops the room, creating calm energy; her out breath always makes me relax and become more present. Of the 8-10 yoga teachers I have had, Lauren is definitely my favorite.
This video was easy to follow and so beautiful too! Very peaceful way to practice Yoga. The instructor keeps it all moving smoothly and I love the end where she takes us through a time of relaxation. It is so unique! I definitely recommend this video and instructor.
Absolutely love Marjorie Montufar's variety of yoga classes - Hatha, Vinyasa, and Meditation practice. Marjorie's experience shines through her intuitive yoga instructions. She takes time to assess the needs of her students prior to starting classes. She offers comforting guidance for all stages of my yoga practice, including proper yoga positions, alternative positions to avoid injury, breathing techniques, meditation. Most importantly, as an instructor she encourages learning to listen to your physical limitations while still stretching your mind and body to find balance in your life. I have been attending classes under Marjorie for 6 months now, each class I leave feeling more relaxed and centered, knowing I have accomplished so much in so little time.
She was an excellent yoga instructor, cannot recommend enough! I have some shoulder injuries due to a surgery I had earlier last year, and she did a great job of not only working around it, but making it feel a bit less stressed after our session! She does a great job of describing exactly what to do to get in and out of certain positions, which is usually hard in a private instead of a class. Lovely woman, can't wait to see her again.

By far my best experience doing yoga! Each session was a solid workout and a lesson in breathing. One of Taryn's finest skills is her ability to listen and apply feedback. She adapted sessions based on the conversations that we had about what was working best and the direction in which we wanted to go. Taryn is professional, mindful and down to earth. I would certainly and highly recommend Taryn as a yoga instructor.

April provided a small group yoga practice that focused on a closer reexamination of basic poses. She was attentive to the needs, questions, and abilities of each of us while still maintaining a flowing and well rounded practice. I left feeling much more informed and confident with poses that I had practiced for years.

I have been teaching at Corepower Yoga for the past 2 years, and I am looking to let go of some of my corporate studio classes and really hone in on individuals who would like to get more one-on-one attention. Whether you are a beginner who wants to learn the basics or a more advanced yogi who wants to polish your practice, I will completely customize the class to your experience level and your goals. My past clients include both casual and competitive athletes (muscle flexibility and strength training), business professionals (stress and tension management), senior citizens (increased vitality, joint and muscle relief), and women during pregnancy. Some of the styles of yoga I specialize in are the following: * Vinyasa -- we flow with control and conscious breath, connecting the breath to each movement. * Hot -- this one incorporate poses from Bikram yoga and tackles every part of the body. Oh, and it gets real hot (more difficult for a home practice). * Restorative -- if you want to feel like you just got a massage, this is the class for you. We loosen our body's fascia tissue as we hold postures for 3-5 minutes in a calm, serene setting. I look forward to connecting!
