"I would definitely recommend Chung Music Academy to someone who is interested in learning to play the guitar. I have been receiving guitar lessons for 5 months, and I find Vaughn to be a very knowledgeable instructor who uses a hands-on approach to teaching that is easy to follow."

"I had a 45 minute piano lesson with Ryan. He was extremely professional and also made me feel very comfortable asking questions. He had a very easy manner and did not intimidate me. I will definitely have more lessons with him and recommend him to my friends as well. FANTASTIC!!"

"I found Andy on Thumbtack and am very happy I did. Andy is a very skilled pianist and great match for what I was looking for in a teacher. I played for about 8 years as a kid, and dabbled with piano and other instruments ever since, so have a good ear and sense for music, but my mechanics and theoretical knowledge are sorely lacking. Andy was quick to recognize and understand the kind of instruction that I need and the biggest impact thus far is in teaching me how to practice. He's versatile in his own skills, so is able to focus on my desire to steer towards blues/jazz. My wife was skeptical about finding and hiring a teacher via thumbtack, but now, after seeing my progress in less than a month, she's interested in joining in the fun and having Andy teach her as well. I highly recommend him."

"Over the last 10 months I have been taking weekly piano lessons at the Vanover Music Academy in Houston with Dr. Krume Andreevski. My teacher is a highly educated talented pianist with real-life teaching experience while actively involved in performing musical activities. As an adult student I enjoy learning piano in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. However, I very much appreciate that Krume’s teaching attitude provides strong discipline and professionalism. Friendly, approachable, organized, enthusiastic and very articulate Krume cares deeply about improving his piano teaching practices. He shows great flexibility to best accommodate each student’s unique skills, abilities, goals and needs. I do my scales, arpeggios, chords, Hanons and piano course exercises but at the same time my teacher insists on me playing Schuman (for now) because the ultimate goal of learning piano is making music. With exemplary stage presence and charisma, Krume has a special gift to connecting with his audience and always gets a great emotional response from his public. Joyfully alive, skillfully delectable, honest and filled with heartfelt emotion, his piano playing is always inspiring. I strongly recommend Mr. Krume Andreevski for students of all skill levels and ages who understand that learning the piano is a serious commitment. To achieve piano playing mastery you need the best quality teaching. "

"I've taken instrumental private lessons throughout my childhood and adult life and Chaundra met and exceeded all expectations. She was thorough and made learning interesting. She worked at a pace that suite me best. Chaundra was always punctual with her appointment times and we never experience any communication problems. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to take piano lessons!"

"John Carney was a great source of 'reason' for me in a time of chaos. He helped me to see beyond the fray, and focus on real-life issues. John brings a unique perspective that quickly differentiates undesirable symptoms from the root of the issue. I like to hit things head-on, and not waste time on incidentals. That's what John helped me to do! Can't say "THANK YOU" enough!"

"We've been going to Mr. D for 4 years. He is an amazing pianist and has a lot of tools (fun worksheets, songs, games) to help motivate kids to learn piano and piano theory. He also uses positive reinforcement (praise and stickers)."

"I am very pleased with Amy Lauro's piano lessons for my son. My wife and I moved our son from a teacher focused on small kids (elementary school age mostly) to somebody more suitable for middle school/high school age; the transition was smooth, and by being present at a number of lessons I could appreciate Amy's method and tactful approach, yet persistent and eventually yielding very satisfying results. My son improved his technique, attention to detail, and overall approach to playing piano music."
