John really builds a workout plan around you; your fitness level, everyday schedule, and more importantly your training goals. My first workout I made the mistake of not eating a good breakfast and I literally felt the consequences. John has helped me establish a healthy training diet so my body gets the fuel I need and I get the most out of the workout. I recommend John Cross to anyone looking for a serious personal trainer, who constantly pushes you to better yourself.
He's really great at tailoring workouts to your ability level, keeping things challenging without overworking you. I've been sore after every workout! It's awesome to have someone to teach you proper form and to make sure you maintain that form throughout the session.
I started working with Mike in mid-October this year. I had some very specific goals that I wanted to work on - dropping my body fat percent and preparing for my first triathlon. I am well on my way to meeting both goals thanks to Mike's help. In just 6 weeks my body fat percent has dropped from 11.3 to 9%. Mike created a customized training plan for me that incorporates a mix of strength training and cardio (swim, bike, run). We have set a target time frame for my first triathlon. The first time I met with Mike he tested my range of motion throughout my body to identify weak points. I was impressed how well the plan he created helped me strengthen these areas in such a short period of time. He also comes to my house twice a week which is super convenient for me. Words I would use to describe Mike are - professional, intelligent, motivating, goal-oriented, patient, supportive, and easy-going. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for some support in reaching your goals - whatever they may be (fat loss, body building, etc.). Best personal trainer I've worked with.

Casey has been training our office for about 3 months and we love him! He is knowledgeable and we are constantly thinking of things we can ask him about health and nutrition during our sessions. He tailors our workouts to the individual to increase or decrease intensity or difficulty. Casey knows what he is talking about. We have laughed and learned so much and cannot wait to continue working with him. All of us have made advancements in our health by working with him too. I personally have dropped more weight as well as increased my endurance for things like moving boxes, running and everyday activity too. We love Casey and you will too for sure!
Simply put, Devin is invested in your success. I just completed a three month program with Devin and have been extremely happy working with him and the program he put together for me. I have trained on my own for five years and needed some help relating to working with a few injuries and polishing off a more proportioned physique. Devin covered all the bases from goal setting, training, technique, nutrition, injury prevention and care. I know other clients of his and know he works well with any skill or knowledge level and helps personalize your training to your own goals. He is personable, friendly, and encouraging. He is punctual, and communicates well and in a timely manner.
I highly recommend her for anyone!! I am a super beginner for any kind of training/weight training. Melanie made the training as an easy and fun activity for me. I learned so much from her, and I can def feel that my body was more stronger than before. If I were staying in Utah longer (I had to leave Utah for personal reason), she would be my trainer again.
Kristen does an amazing job. She does different exercises every time and I love the challenge and the change. She is very friendly and the workout goes by really fast because I'm having fun. She takes into consideration my bad back and since I have started working with her over 2 months ago, my back problems have diminished a lot and they continue to decrease the more I exercise. She also listens to what I say. I told her once after a really intense workout, that I preferred the high intensity, and she kept doing higher intensity workouts after that, which I have loved. I haven't lost weight, but I have gained muscle and I've lost not only fat, but also inches around my waist and hips. I look forward to further getting into better shape with Kristen as my personal trainer!
I go to workout with Jakob at a gym. We focus on three workouts. He teaches that these three movements are the basis for most all fitness goals. They help burn fat, increase strength, and bulk up (if you are looking to do that- then just make sure you eat as much as an elephant) He helped reassure me that I won't look like nasty people in magazines with weird bulging. That they are most likely injecting themselves with something. I am glad that he keeps things simple. It helps me learn quickly and get results. I am sore after our workouts!
I have not finished my training with Kurt @ KB Fitness, but he is phenominal. He goes the extra mile for his clients and is knowledgeable and encouraging.
Burton Arias was my personal trainer for 18 months. I have RA in my knees and at that time weighted 280 lbs. Burt was sensitive to my needs & abilities. He taught me to use weight machines, free weights, & my own body weight to increase my fitness level. We also talked about good nutrition & what I could do to improve my diet. Burt Arias is very passionate about health & fitness. He is excellent at tailoring his programs to fit his individual clients. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a personal trainer & fitness coach. I plan to hire him again myself.
I am almost 50 years old and starting working out with Caralee after I moved here from a tropical paradise where I thought I was in shape. I knew her before but did not work out with her as I worked out with another trainer. I cannot say what a difference has made in my body and whole perspective on eating healthy and living healthy. I have always worked out and never been really happy with results and never been able to get my butt in shape. Within three months of working out with Caralee I actually had a firm butt (as my best friend can tell you as she had told me I needed something like a Brazilian butt lift but not after working out with Caralee for just three months after years of other trainers). I was much more active and energy level really high. We are working on that flabby area on the arms now and I can see a change in just a few weeks. . Caralee is not just a person you workout with you. She listens to you what you want to change and then creates a plan to get there - food and body. She restructures your eating but not in a way that makes you feel deprived (she loves ice cream and cake herself if you can believe it.) She acts as kind of a therapist as she listens to your daily struggles to see what is triggering perhaps pain and bad habits and suggests how to modify. She may cost more than some other trainers her and that is because it is not just a workout.. It is nutrition counseling and food plans and therapy (alone at least 150 per hour). She is on the journey with you and wants you to succeed. She of all understands where you are and it is not always easy (who does not cake and ice cream),She creates the plan for you to get there. She is worth every dime.
Alisha is a fantastic trainer! She has her Exercise Science degree -and she knows her stuff! She writes a new exercise workout JUST FOR YOU each time she trains with you. They are new, challenging, mathematically and physically calculated for just your body! During training she demonstrates each exercise before you do it, and explains how the muscles are building from that motion. She has a very keen eye on your form and your body's signs as you're performing the exercise. She can tell when your body can do more -and pushes you and your mind to do it! Talk about moving the carrot! But that's what a great trainer does! She gently asks you to do more -and you're pleasantly surprised that you actually can do it! She has good goal ideas to keep you focused and motivated on days in between training. She's clear in communication, invoices, and scheduling. She can accommodate changes to your schedule too. It's SO nice that she can come to you! Her equipment that she brings in is in great condition. I've trained with her for a year, and am very pleased with my muscle tone, shape, and stamina I've been able to gain since training with her! I've enjoyed my exercise time with her -and more to come!!!
Ariana is awesome! My favorite thing about her training is that she can read my levels and abilities very well and adapt my training to it, then increase intensity to challenge me when I need it. Plus her personality is fun and outgoing! Her boot camps rock and will have you doing exercises you didn't think you could do! Wouldn't recommend anyone else but her! ?????????
The picture on the left is from 2014- A time when I worked out and thought I was knowledgeable about my workouts and diet, but I so wasn't! Shortly after that, I started getting in to the gym and trying to learn the ropes in the gym on my own. I had been working out hard and consistently, (at least in my opinion at the time), and putting on muscle for about a year and a half. At the beginning of the year I decided to enter my first figure contest and asked Nate to be my trainer. Best decision EVER! Contest prep is not easy. The dieting is intense and hours upon hours of work are put into the gym almost all week long between lifting and cardio. Nate has made this journey not only bearable, but enjoyable. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes everything involved in this process extremely understandable! He is super reliable and dedicated to no end to what he does. I finally have found my "thing" and have never felt more motivated about something- and I owe much of that to Nate! If you are ever looking for a trainer or nutrition consultant, no matter what level you are at in your fitness journey, he is the best person for the job!!
I had never been to a trainer before and was incredibly nervous to begin my weight loss journey. Ray immediately made me feel comfortable and adjusted my exercises to fit my personal needs. Both of my ankles are very weak and he always pays close attention to the level of intensity that they can take. I have never felt better or more energized. I honestly look forward to every session with Ray because not only is he the perfect fit as a trainer but he makes the entire process fun and never ceases to motivate. I never would have been able to run on the treadmill in the beginning but now can run and not feel so intimidated. I have lost 15 pounds so far and while we have a long way to go, I know I will reach my goal because Ray is my trainer!
