I have been with lifelong Fitness for a little over a month now. Garrett is my trainer and I couldn't be happier with both. The gym is available to me whenever I need it and Garrett has been great to work with my schedule. I'm 28 years old and I started my weight loss and getting fit journey in Sep 2013. After being overweight since 8th grade I knew that if I could get started on my own (after many - many - attempts in my life) that I would eventually get a personal trainer for more guidance. I started at 245 lbs and I lost 25 pounds on my own from changing my diet and only running - but I had zero experience in weight training and was pretty overwhelmed by all the information out there on how to get in shape. So I contacted Brian after the new year in Jan 2014. I could tell right away after meeting him that this is his passion and more than just a job to him. Since starting with Brian 3 months ago I have lost near 20 pounds (almost in the 100s!!) all while gaining muscle at the same time. He has given me some things I wasn't able to give myself before: passion for fitness, muscle growth, and knowledge about how to workout properly and knowledge about my body. My arms are bigger, my stomach and waist are smaller, my chest is flatter, and my legs are killer! - I have grown (and am still growing) in strength and am extremely happy now when I look in the mirror and get compliments from family, friends, and especially girls - and most importantly I feel great about myself and I no longer focus on the negative energy and thoughts I was feeding myself every day about my appearance.
