Awesome working with Chris! My daughter has tried piano lessons twice in the past and her interests always fell off, but with Chris she's motivated to even PRACTICE without being told. I'm loving it!!

I initially contacted Penelope for voice lessons for my daughter who loves to sing and play ukulele, it so happens she plays uke as well. She works with my daughter on voice in conjunction with ukulele lessons and my daughter loves it and is learning how to hone in on her skill. She travels to our house for the lessons which is also so helpful for us and she is very reasonably priced. We highly recommend Penelope and are very pleased with her knowledge base and teaching style.

Barbara has been coming to our house to teach my family music lessons for years! She has taught myself and my children piano and guitar. She is always on time, is highly reliable, has worked wonderfully with our kids since the age of six, and we've enjoyed working with her. She has taught to our needs ( music lessons for fun and education! ) and we look forward to working with her in the future!

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE Speak Life Productions. Our two sons take drum lessons there and they love it. They have learned a great deal in a very short timeframe. In fact, with very short notice, both sons played drums for a huge community event - just the two of them. That is something they would never have done prior. The couple who run the company provide exemplary customer service. You have got to check them out!!

My kids, ages 5 and 10 years old, enjoy taking piano lessons from Henry. He is patient with them. He helps them correct their mistakes and is encouraging when they lose motivation. He has been flexible with our crazy schedule. I would definitely recommend him for those wanting to try learning an instrument for the first time.

I had an amazing experience learning piano here. My instructor, Sharon, is truly gifted in both her musical knowledge and teaching ability, guiding me through difficult pieces I never thought I could possibly learn. I used Living Waters Music for close to 6 years and enjoyed every minute of it ?

Loved the listening to what I was looking for (in choreography), the assimilation of all of the pieces (the types of dances and sings I wanted included) and the outcome of choreography and instruction. Marilyn did it all! No where better to go, ... when I want what works best for me!

We were very fortunate to find Luck Studios and Ms. Luck through Thumbtack (to think I was originally looking for a handyman). We wanted to give our son piano lessons because his high school didn't offer a music program. He is on the autism spectrum so finding a teacher that could connect with him and be patient with him was so important. Ms. Luck is wonderful. The lessons are affordable, she has a great curriculum and my son seems to enjoy his lessons very much. Thank you!

We feel very fortunate to have found Mrs. Bolds. My daughter has been taking piano lessons for over a year, she enjoys the lessons and her love of music has grown. We have had such a wonderful experience. Mrs. Bolds is very patient, supportive, she challenges, inspires and truly connected with my daughter. I would highly recommend Jennifer Bolds! She is an amazing, gifted and extremely knowledgeable teacher.

Kate Clemons has helped me to prepare for two professional musical theatre auditions in the past two years, both times knocking off inevitable rust (at ages 55 and 57). I am living proof that she CAN teach an old dog new tricks! She brings new life to the way I was trained vocally, both in speaking (focusing on the mechanics of the voice) and in singing (classical vocal training) and gives me new, practical exercises that I can easily put into practice immediately. I heartily recommend her studio to both young students just beginning and professionals who need some "spit and polish" -- and everyone in between!

      About

I can give the best of both worlds in my music lessons by combining an intuitive, ear training based approach with a strong foundation in music theory. My hope is to teach my students the skills they need to keep growing as musicians long after their lessons cease.

      About

We have teachers in our store for most instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola, cello and voice. Our teaching environment is relaxed and kid friendly, and our teachers shape their lessons to the musical tastes of their students. We'll get you started by finding out where you're trying to go and give you the tools to get there, so you can play music and have fun! Ask around, you'll hear good things about Moe's Music!

      About

I am a voice talent, instructor and coach, particularly in the musical theatre style. Audition techniques and acting coaching are my specialties.

      About

The Young Peoples Guild of the Performing School of the Arts offers class in the following areas : piano, voice, modeling, dance and instrumental (e.g. drums and violin). The classes are half an hour (private) to one hour depending on age and classification. We ask students whom have studied previously to audition. This is mainly for placement. The YPG is equipped to teach all levels and all genres for ages three-adult. What makes us unique is that we tailor our services to the needs of our students and focus on making sure that the students have fun while learning.

      About

I train on breathing properly for singing. I train on all styles, and I have trained in opera, classical, pop, and R&B. I teach site reading, give my students a schedule to practice at home, and help them find their own sound. I train in vibrato, falsetto, and all other mainstream voice diversions. I can train male or female. I teach at a studio in Virginia Beach called OBW Theatre Company. If close or nearby, I can drive to a student's residence, if necessary. It's $30 for a half hour if you don't want to take a whole-hour session.

      About

I am a Hampton Roads native interested in teaching beginner to intermediate piano and voice lessons. I have a B.A. in Music Theater from CNU and a minor in vocal performance. Since graduation, I have performed as a musician both as a soloist and as part of several local choirs including Virginia Choral Society and Cantori. The pinnacle of my career was singing the national anthem at the National Walk for Epilepsy in D.C. in front of an audience of 5,000. My latest project is working on a musical improv comedy show. I enjoy helping others tap into their potential as well-rounded performers.
