I have taken Gentle Yoga with Asya at Sun & Moon for years. When I heard that she was offering a more personalized therapeutic class, I jumped at the chance to address my particular problems -- back issues, bad knee, Morton's neuroma in my toes -- all things that made some yoga poses very challenging for me. It was wonderful to have her focus on my issues, and she helped me develop a personal practice to work on these things. Her gentle and encouraging voice, strong knowledge of anatomy, and inventive teaching style made it pleasurable as well as useful.

If I could give her 6 stars I would! I am a tennis teaching professional and my job is very physical. During the last few years I had been experiencing injury after injury which was taking all the enjoyment out of my work. Corey is actually one of my students and she encouraged me to try Yoga with her. I was skeptical at first and thought Yoga was for "other people ". I could not have been more wrong! After one session with Corey I could tell this is exactly what I needed. I have been working with Corey for the last 6 months and I feel 20 years younger! Corey is not only a fantastic Yogini. She is incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in many schools of physical fitness. Like Pilates, Cross Fit, TRX?? She knows it all. Incredibly, her expertise does not stop there. Corey is also a walking repository of nutritional information. Going to Corey is a great value, she just knows so much and is so willing to help! In conclusion, the other thing I like and admire about Corey is that she practices what she preaches. She is in great shape and an athlete herself. As an athlete, that's important to me. I highly recommend you give her a try. You will be glad you did!!

Mona is the best yoga instructor ever! She creates custom sessions based on how you're feeling and needing. Also, she has this vibe that automatically puts you in a "zen" mode, which is very pleasant after a long day at work. I've also taken Aerial Yoga classes with her and we have a lot of fun trying out new poses with the silks. I highly recommend her yoga classes.

This evening I took Natasha's yoga class at LaFitness. This was my first time in her class of which I was impressed. She knew her moves and poses and gave good instruction. Will be attending her class.

I don't often take Yoga however one of the things I enjoyed about Dante's Yoga Class is that he gave the history and context for each of the moves. He was professional and patient as he observed to make sure I did the moves correctly. I look forward to taking another class!

Nicole is amazing. Her credentials say she is a certified fitness trainer and yoga instructor, and she is every bit of that. She is a master of her crafts. But she is way more. She is a coach, confidant, motivator, and most of all, a gifted healer. As a physician, I know a healer when I encounter one. I feel so blessed to have invited Nicole to help me with my journey. After just a few weeks of being tortured by Nicole (nobody says health and fitness are easy) I am in my best shape in years. If I learn some of her amazing communication and motivational skills, she may make me a better doctor as well.

I work in an office environment and after years of having such a sedentary lifestyle I think yoga with Dagmara was just what the doctor ordered. She is professional and worked at my pace and provided positive support and patience with my inflexibility. Already after a few sessions I have a greater range of motion and feel calmer. Thank you Dagmara!

Selene's yoga session was great. I felt like I learned so much just from one session about how to do each pose correctly and how to modify poses in a beneficial way when you're not totally there yet. Selene's vibe is accepting, warm and encouraging & I didn't feel pressured to do everything perfectly. At the end of our session I felt rejuvinated in mind, body & spirit. Highly recommend!!

My experience at Seva studio exceded my expectations. During my Reiki treatment I felt deeply connected with Lauren's process and by the way I reacted to the method that she used during my treatment. It was my first experience with Reiki and I feel that it definitely helped me with the issues that were afflicting me, and allowed me to be more self aware and less stressed. The environment upon entering was soothing and induced immediate relaxation. Lauren focuses each treatment based on the individuals personal history and motivations. I would recommend Seva Studio to anyone looking for healing through Reiki, yoga or meditation.

Kayli was a phenomenal instructor that effortlessly created a open, accepting and tranquil space for us to do Yoga. As a person who has never done Yoga before, I greatly appreciated the patience she had for me. Despite having a plan for the lesson, Kayli did not hesitate to spend more time on certain poses or even to veer of course of the lesson just so I got the most out of each pose. With encouragement from her every step of the way, I was able to really grow in my own skill and ability. Ujjayi is still my favorite practice, but after working with Kayli, I am confident that I can master more intricate and complicated aspects of Yoga should I ever choose to.

    About

I provide yoga and mindfulness workshops around transformation for people. I teach yoga, as well as meditation.

    About

Showing yoga has no type, shape or body. It's for everyone and yoga wherever you are. I am taking yoga to those who are not ready for group classes.

    About

Rather than offering group yoga classes, I primarily focus on one-on-one private Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy sessions and 8 Week Mindfulness & Grief groups, as well as drop in meditation classes. Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is done one-on-one in a confidential environment. To begin, I lead you through a guided meditation to help you set an intention or goal for the session. Then I gently move and stretch you while you relax on the fluffy mat - honoring your own body's needs and limits. At the end of the session, I lead you through another guided meditation, which allows you to reflect on how the session relates to your life. Then you are invited to set an "action step" to do outside of the session, which will help you take a step towards your initial goal. It may be to relax, to heal from grief, or family and career related goals. I have been giving sessions since 2003, and offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you don't like the session, you don't pay. (No one has ever had to take me up on this!) I am the author of Mindfulness & Grief, which is based on the 8 week group that I created and facilitate. The program also includes a day long retreat halfway through the program, and is open to bereaved people who have lost a loved one to death.

    About

I offer yoga and meditation services for special cases, such as PTSD and anxiety. I developed a practice for individual or special needs groups to help alleviate stress, anxiety or depression. My clients include high profile people with no time to attend classes and people with conditions that do not allow attendance in a class. I also provide a service for entertainers, especially singers.
