I never considered myself a gym person. I had belonged to another local chain gym for several years but never actually went there. I kept telling myself I would go, kept paying my dues and kept gaining weight. Last May, friends told me about a fitness challenge and I decided to give it a try. That was 9 months ago, -20 lbs ago , -7 inches from my waist ago and over 100 of the intense but fun and absolutely effective boot camp classes ago! I like to think I know when I'm doing when it comes to weight loss as I've lost over 275 pounds over three years. Then I hit a very frustrating eight month plateau and decided I needed help. That's when I met Agnese and employed her to get me back on track. I complain a lot when working out with her but I have now lost weight seven straight weeks and counting. I started attending Mannys 5 am, Tuesday and Thursday boot camp class the last week of June, 2012. In the beginning, I was so out of shape I wanted to give up the class completely. My continuing is a testament to Mannys unique balance knowledge, professionalism, energy and personality. It confirms that he has chosen the correct line of work and is truly a master of his craft. Since I began, I have never been disappointed in boot camp; in fact, it is something I truly look forward to!! I truly feel as though, with Mannys help, my life has been fundamentally changed for the better. Im sure I was on my way to having a stroke or heart attack, due to the lack of a regular exercise program and motivation. Because of Mannys boot camp, daily I feel alive and full of energy. If I had to change something about the program or site something negative, it would be that I did not begin the program sooner. He gave me my life back, and for that, Im forever grateful!!!!!!
I have been training with Jesse now for about 5 months. We only train once a week and then he e mails me a very detailed plan for the five day in between our sessions. I have never heard of a trainer doing that. His sessions are very intense. No chit chat unless it during the reps. He focuses very much on overall range of motion and balance when we work. This has been a lifelong problem for me so I really appreciate the extra attention. He is an intense trainer you will never see him checking texts or looking away. He watches every movement and makes sure it is correct or adjusted. I tend to drift off on my own so that kind of attention is important to me. My initial goal was just weight loss. Im down about 10 lbs but my waist is down two sizes so I have put on some muscle to be sure. I was rather surprised at that. His insights into nutrition and a regular massage therapy regimen (important for me because of mobility issues) have led to some good results. At the end of each sessions I am exhausted to the point of sitting down for a while. For me that is great and exactly what I am paying for. If you a truly interested in training and working hard, he is your man. If its a socializing and gossip experience you are looking for go elsewhere.
Rob is a great trainer. My wife and I have used him for months now and if your goal is to shed some weight then Rob is your guy. His facility is awesome and the meal plan he provided at the beginning was tough but great too. At the end of the day, if you wanna be healthy it'll take work. Rob makes the journey there a little bit easier and you couldn't ask for a better quality individual in regards to his personality. Fitness and health are his passion in life which really shows in his desire to make you better each session.
I started my journey in April of 2014. My goal was to gain a decent amount of muscle through weight training while maintaining a relatively lean body. I fell short on remaining lean and this is where Stacy stepped in. I began coming to her bleacher run and boot camp classes. The entire hour pushes me harder than any other group class I've been to and this was exactly what I needed! I will definitely continue to take stacy's classes. She is knowledgeable and loves what she does- which is a rarity.
Dedicated Personal Trainer that helped me to meet my weight loss goal and to kept me focused. The exercises we did helped me to train for a half marathon and helped me to target certain areas that I felt needed more work on. Emmanuel also assisted me with my meal plans and water intake. I took a boot camp class from Silvia and several personal training sessions. Every workout was different and challenging. Silvia is motivating and focuses on training as well as diet. I just wish she could make all of my meals - she is also an amazing cook!

Before going to Soupar as a personal trainer I had tried gyms, workout videos, and morning boot camps. All of them ended up being incredibly boring, and when it's boring it's not effective. Soupar know how to keep the workouts interesting and effective. He took the time to talk to me and figure out my goals, then crafted a carefully planned routine. And the plan is not rigid, but is tailored to address any issues that may occur during the time between visits. I credit him with helping get my weight down, my cholesterol in control, and helping get off the medication that the doctor put me on. Outside of sessions Soupar keeps track of all of his clients regarding exercise and diet. Overall he is a consummate professional who takes the goals seriously, while keeping the journey fun.
I have been working with Alee for a year now, started with online training then I started attending weekly boot camp classes. Alee has a great background and the education about physical fitness, sports and weight management and she does a good job with teaching you about fitness along your journey. What I like most about Alees training guidance is that she keeps the exercises interesting and challenging at the same time. She did a great job tailoring the program to my needs and adjusting them if need be. Alee is very creative and helped me to learn new exercises with limited equipment. She has also helped me to debunk the myths about women lifting heavy weights. Once I followed Alees program I was able to break my long plateau. I have been very active all of my life, however I am now in the best shape of my life. I am 25lbs down, 10% body fat reduction, more muscle mass. I am also stronger and faster than I have ever been. I will continue to work with Alee to supersede my fitness goals, and begin to train with her one on one!!!
I am so grateful for Kris and this boot camp. He has a great balance between pushing the participants to max themselves out without over doing it. He's also creative in the different routines he comes up with which keeps things interesting. I also appreciate the way he engages outside of class about how to pursue a healthy diet. I would never do the kind of workouts we do on my own. It can be painful. But because of Kris, I actually look forward to it.
Alan hosts an incredible boot camp on Thursdays. In addition, I have trained with him for 3 years noticing great results. Unlike some of my previous experiences, he takes a comprehensive approach by building you up with the basics and pushes you to reach your personal best. Finally, his versatility is what has kept me coming back. He provides advice on nutrition, personal training and tri/marathon planning. While he will push you, his manner is very encouraging and supportive.
I had been seriously workiing out (5 days a week) for about a year and a half with minimum results. I started boot camp with Jonella and the results have been unbelievable!!! The work outs are Fantastic!! I continued to shed pounds even during time off because of the snow. The weight training from boot camp was what I needed to take it to the next level!!!!
Stephanie's boot camp changed my life. I was out of shape and overweight, felt out of control and had terrible self-esteem. After less than a year, I lost 35 pounds and am exercising every day. Ran a 10K recently without stopping and can keep up in boot camp with exercises that I couldn't do initially (read: Burpees). I'm stronger than ever, feel more energetic, have a more positive attitude, and feel younger. I trained with Ken at Prime Fitness for 2+ months and I benefited greatly from his patient, attentive, insightful training style. I had specific issues with form that I wanted to address as well as wanting to build strength for my high intensity boot camp workouts. I was expecting to see small improvements and enjoy the experience of personalized coaching, but Ken's friendly, fun, and focused approach to training, plus customized routines elicited both weight loss, strength gains and greater stamina. Kim makes my 3x/week boot camp workouts challenging and fun! She keeps me actively engaged in the exercises, and rotates from one to the next quickly so I'm getting cardio and strength training, with critical core. Incorporating new exercises with my favorites, Kim keeps me on my toes and pushes me to be better and stronger. Her nutritional advice is spot on too. Kim will assess your strengths and weaknesses and guide you to success. There's no better personal trainer out there!
I have really enjoyed working with Ellen over the past few months. I've become much stronger physically and she continues to push me to meet my weight loss goals. She is also a supportive trainer (as well as listener) and does a great job staying in touch throughout the week even on the days we do not meet.
It is so hard to keep me motivated to go to the gym on a weekly basis but having Danny on my calendar helps me to stay focus during the week as I get ready to attend our small group training sessions. Danny is epitome of professionalism. He is is very knowledge about fitness, nutrition and proper technique and is very punctual. I can still remember my first group training session with Danny, and it was around Thanksgiving and boy, my body was so sore for about 3 days after out session that I refused to indulge in the festivities because it hurt to breath or get up to make a plate but I didnt want to gain 1 ounce of fat from eating poorly. Danny is awesome, I wish I could attend more than 1 or 2 classes per week him. His classes are like a boot camp and the results are visible quickly even from attending as little as once a week for about 7 weeks. Just follow his instructions and watch your caloric intake. I recommend Daniel highly for your personal training needs. Good luck on your journey.
I encourage you to work with Doug as a personal trainer. Doug is my 16 year old daughter's personal sport trainer. He has been working with her for two months. My daughter has a goal of losing weight, gaining speed and improving her flexibility to be a better athlete. Doug took the time to find exercises/routines that hit all of her goals. He understood how to motivate her and push her. He varied the locations of the work outs from the gym to the local park or boot camp workouts in his studio. We look forward to working with him.
