I hired Bill for electric guitar lessons. I actually shopped for an instructor who would fit my learning style best. I learn by doing things hands-on, not so much auditory learning. After trying 4 different instructors, I decided Bill was the best fit for me. Other instructors were good but did not have what I was looking for such as: not teaching according to my learning style, not understanding my goals, or making me feel like I learned nothing after the first lesson. I felt none of these will Bill. After my first lesson with him, I knew he would be a great fit for me. You can just tell he has experience by interacting with him. I left the lesson feeling satisfied with the information I learned and that I am capable of reaching my goals. He takes his time with each lesson, does not rush, and welcomes all questions. He is patient with newbies like me and adept at explaining things in a manner that I will understand. I never feel overwhelmed with the information he gives. I like that he gives positive encouragement when you do something correctly. He will also help you correct you if you have bad form/technique. Bill is very professional, he responds to inquiries quickly. He has the knowledge, experience, and background to help you reach your goals. He has a great personality and is willing to work with your schedule. I highly recommend Bill as an instructor!

Playing piano has always been a life-long dream. I started piano lessons late in life and never dreamed of finding an instructor like Chris Rooney. His personality, professionalism and teaching techniques are above reproach! I look forward to every lesson and strive to do my best as my progress is a reflection on the professionalism exhibited by Chris.

My 11 year old son has been taking guitar lessons with Mike of G4 guitar in Frederick since September. Mike is an excellent teacher and guitar player. He has a lot of patience and experience. My son had very little experience playing the guitar, I am amazed by how much better he sounds and how much Mike has taught him. I highly recommend Mike at G4 Guitar!

I highly recommend taking vocal lessons from Rob. Working with Rob was fantastic. I wasn't sure about my vocals, so I started taking lessons from him not too long ago. He goes into great detail of what vocal exercises to practice, and how to do them. He'll also answer any question you have about vocals. Even if you can't meet him in person to do the lesson, he does offer online lessons. I intend to take more lessons from Rob in the future.

I took guitar lessons with John for a number of years at the Music and Arts center in Germantown. John was an incredible music mentor to me and challenged me to push myself further with every session. John and I stay in touch, and even though I no longer take lessons with him he continues to provide me with advice and support. Incredible musician, incredible teacher.

Great instructor. He taught both of our girls. He’s patient, has a nice calm demeanor, and was able to encourage them to learn more. As a result, our girls not only know how to play and read music, but they genuinely enjoy it.

Our son (now 8) has been taking lessons with the studio for about 2 years now. The teachers are great, share their love of music, make the lessons fun and serious all at the same time.

    About

Variety is what separates myself from other music teachers. For instance, on guitar, I teach students not only how to read, but to compose and improvise music in their favorite styles. Piano students are also free to choose their favorite styles on piano. While I do teach classical piano, I do not force my students to only learn classical music.

    About

I offer beginner guitar lessons. I don't charge much because I don't have a degree; I'm just really into music. I can teach chords, scales, rips and tricks.

    About

As a guitar teacher: Nontraditional teaching methods. I'll teach you what you want to learn instead of wasting your time with grueling regimens. I offer musical guidance As a performer: I'm using sounds from an old video game console to make technical dance music. Having a lights show or using a projector makes the performance more visually appealing.

    About

I have turned lessons with some kids into 6-8 year long mentoring relationships. Some have moved onto musics schools and Universities. I work with people from ages 7-61 currently. I have a 100% success rate with my students, but only when time and practice is regimented by the student . Studying and playing music for 30 years has taught me a lot. I base my lesson plans entirely ontbe individual I am working with . No 2 students of mine ever share the same lesson plan , unless requested by those individuals. Most of what I teach I learned by what “not to do” I have found that learning from past mistakes, in all fields of music, had made me very aware of what people should not do as well as areas of focus and strength.

    About

I teach country, Southern rock, scales, chord progression, slide guitar, and blues to any age and any style, from the start until you're better than me.

    About

I provide all levels of bass instrument instructions and tutoring in music theory, harmony, and sight singing proven track records.

    About

I am very enthusiastic and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that my student is learning and is on their way to becoming a successful musician.

    About

I teach guitar and music techniques that help students play rock, funk, jazz, Spanish, and pop music. I will show you how to become a guitar legend.

I love music, I love seeing someone's face when something I teach them gets some traction and seeing them comeback motivated to learn even more. I'm also a student of music from Robert Johnson on up.

    About

Hello, my name is Jonathan Cole, but you can just call me Jon Cole. I am currently a music education major at Alderson Broaddus University with a focus in voice and piano. I have been taking lessons in both arts for 10 years. I am qualified to teach at a beginner and intermediate level and even advanced in most cases. I would love to teach you or your child, and I certainly don't charge much. Thank you so much for checking out my profile!

I've purchased a Squier Bullet used and started trying to learn enough of the basics to start knowing what I don't know. I can play the chords A, D and E fairly reliably, and I've been trying to do speed drills between them. (I'm following the Justinguitar beginner's course if you're familiar with it.)
