Kelly was my real estate agent when I recently sold my home in the Sunset Hills neighborhood in Ballard. She went way above and beyond to help me get my house on the market quickly, even helping scrub the garage roof and move huge amounts of boxes in my basement. In addition, she really worked with other realtors at Windermere to help determine how best to show my house, how to price it appropriately, and was a huge advocate for me throughout the process. There was some hand-holding... Kelly has amazing, positive energy and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I worked with Chris last fall for the purchase of my family home. He was friendly, easy to work with and knowledgeable which was a refreshing change fromm my last two real estate experiences. After finding out our needs and wants he went to work narrowing down our option and finding several homes for us to look at making the process of looking at endless homes non existent. I was very interested in one of the homes and decided to have Chris write up an offer below asking. Chris negotiated the deal back and fourth with the sellers agent and ended up saving us 30,000 off the asking price. He also followed through attending the inspection of the home and the re inspection to make sure all the fixes had been done. I was thrilled with the service Chris provided and would recommend his services to anyone. He is top notch.

I went through Zillow to find a real estate agent and fortunately, Oana was assigned to me. She was immediate in her response to connect with me and since day 1 she was an amazing communicator. Through the whole process, Oana kept us alerted, informed, and updated through every bit of information or change. I felt like I was better held accountable because she was always on her A game. She started the process by sending me lists of homes to view online which she asked me to rank. She then set up viewings immediately (I was only in town for a couple of days and had a small window). Along the way, she educated us on all things home buying since this was our first time. We are a young couple and new to this experience but she treated us like a million bucks and really made us feel like we could trust her advise and follow her lead. Once we found the home we liked, Oana worked quickly to get everything done with us and we were able to close in less than a month (which is almost unheard of)!! Through the bank loan and title company process, she was very informative and stayed in touch daily with all parties to help move things along. While we were searching for our home I mentioned that it was my birthday and she brought me a gift the next time we met. After we moved into our home she sent us the most beautiful welcome home gift basket and she still continues to extend her help with anything we need while moving and settling in. Oana is amazing and we are so lucky that we got to work with her. I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy, rent, or sell. You won't regret working with her!!!

    Connie and Larry helped me sell a house on 5 acres and a condominium. From the very beginning when I interviewed prospective agents they stood out. They are extremely knowledgeable. When buyers agents made mistakes in preparing their offers, Connie helped them follow procedure. You will find lenders really appreciate this. They are great communicators. They answer the phone, emails and texts right away even in the evening and on weekends. They provided feedback on how each prospective buyer was seeing the house and let me know immediately if there was anything we could do to get offers. Just as important, they are good people. From letting me borrow their lawn mower to doing things I couldn't do (I had moved out of state) like fixing smoke detectors and cleaning out my garage when the buyers decided they did not want any of the tools and other things I had left behind when I moved to all the good things they do for the community. I cannot say enough good things about Connie and Larry. Selling a house can be a very stressful experience. Connie and Larry make it a lot less so. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. I strongly recommend them to you.

    What do real estate agents charge?

    Real estate agents typically don’t charge a set rate to their clients, but rather earn a commission on the price of the final home sale. In traditional real estate, there is a buyer’s agent and a seller’s agent. The two agents receive 5 percent to 6 percent of the final home sale price and split it evenly, meaning they each earn roughly 2.5 percent to 3 percent of the total home sale.
