The service tech arrived at my home on time and was very friendly. My carpets came out very clean. My only complaint was they took a really long time dry (over 24 hours).
This is the first time we have had our carpets professionally cleaned since we purchased our home in 2014. We had been using our Bissell and decided it wasn't cutting it anymore... So we hired Evergreen. Jameson and his wife Tess arrived on time. They were very professional and polite, we showed them around and discussed what we wanted done and they got straight to work. We added a small chaise lounge cleaning and a small area rug. The work took about 2 hours or so and looks amazing. I wish we would have asked about an odor additive, because after they were done it was evident the previous owner had a dog (we have a cat). While the carpets were drying it smelled faintly like a wet dog... Not their fault at all I just wanted to mention it so future people can ask about it. The carpets legitimately took about 12 hours to be DRY, DRY. They were walkable in about 4-5 hours for the most part. The carpets, chaise and area rug look absolutely fantastic and was a great value. Prices were very reasonable, we paid the price quoted plus the chaise add-on, they did the area rug for free. I would highly recommend them and will use them again for spring a spring cleaning refresher. Great Job!!
Eric was on time, quick, friendly and able to get my leaky drain fixed very quickly.
All New Again is an outstanding general contractor company. Don’t let their webpage fool you; they do it all, not just restoration after something bad happens to your home. They are a full service contracting company who employ certified plumbers, electricians and builders. They are licensed, bonded and insured. I could not be at home while they worked on my kitchen reno for 2 days and I always felt like my house and possessions were safe-everything was still in my home after the work was done. They are honest and upfront about costs. They arrived to every appointment on time and prepared. They made multiple planning visits and even asked one of the project managers to come in a review the project. My plumber, Dan Gibson, came over at the end of a long Friday after a long week just to hook up my sink after the plumbing inspection passed. Erin Peabody, my electrician, was highly informative and produced excellent results. Josh Keller assisted them in the job and he was professional and when I needed advise about some dry rot on the exterior wall, he provided me a thorough explanation of what needs to happen to fix it and how I can “bandage” it up until next spring/summer. They answered all of my questions with patience and were professional and courteous the whole time. I know they are not the cheapest or are they the most pricy. They are fair and their work is outstanding. I recommended them to a friend the other day, she called them and Dan called her back within hours and had an appoint set for the next week. She is incredibly pleased. Other contractors I called either never returned my call or failed to call me back after meeting with me. I will never use any other contractor ever for major home reno or repair. Amy
I manage a 61 unit apartment community in Tukwila, WA and have used Best Home Improvements on several projects over the last couple of years. Paul and the others at BHI have helped troubleshoot and repair exterior damage from water infiltration problems on a number of occasions. They have renovated units by doing full kitchen/bathroom cabinet replacements, tub surrounds, shower replacements and have replaced landings due to dry rot. I continue to use them because their work in always above expectations. This company takes pride in their work and was always on time. This is the best company I have ever worked with.
Robert was available and came out to access my water leak immediately. He came back the next day and removed the damage and started the drying process. He is very knowledgeable and had a lot of great advise to help with the situation. I would definitely call him again.
We are really happy with the performance and quality of the work that Hawaiian Construction, LLC performed for our fire rebuilt home in Sammamish! The owner Robert and his team did a great job within the time line. Robert had negotiated with our insurance company many times and doubled our original costs to insure that all repairs were completed properly the first time and brought it up to code. They upgraded our cabinetry and Granite Counter tops without additional costs. The cabinets that were originally there was Particle Board Type or avg. Cabinets. We got High Grade Plywood Box Cabinets. So if there is ever a water leak these cabinets should not get damaged and they will dry out. If they were what was there Particle Board type of cabinets, they would swell up and need to then be replaced. The Granite Counter Tops which was upgraded to the 1-1/4" thick slab type of stone versus the 3/4" type that was there and Robert also included all Granite tops in all bathrooms with under mounted sinks which we had just laminate counter tops and surface mounted sinks in. Robert did a lot of upgrades which includes the exterior deck as well, he never gave up on our house and made sure everything was replaced including the Furnace and all the duct work when the insurance company just wanted to clean it up, we also got all new flooring and all new siding on the home. Robert upgraded the flooring in the Kitchen, family Room area to engineered Flooring when we had Laminate Type flooring, new tile at entry and fireplace. Robert did get the insurance company to replace the entire roof system because of the faulty truss system which the insurance did not want to do until Robert told them that he would bring in a engineer to prove what he found out, then to work with the adjuster who was under half of what it should of been to complete the job. If you ever have a claim, there is no doubt you can count on Robert who has your best interest in his mind at all times! We sincerely appreciate all your hard work and dedication, Robert!
I needed to remove an old retaining wall that was falling down and rotting. It was made of railway ties and was 70' long and 5-6' high. Julio and his crew did a great job without complaining. The job turned out to be much bigger than anticipated. All the work had to be done by hand including the removal of 80 old HEAVY ties from a steep hill. They also had to carry most of the stone and fill in 5 gallon buckets due to the location of a shed and the collapsing hillside. The wall itself collapsed adding to the difficulty. Add to that the nasty cold and rainy weather and it was not fun. They replaced the wall with new 6x6x8 treated landscape timber and reinforced it with posts in concrete. They also installed a drainage system which the first wall did not have. Throughout it all, they had a tremendous attitude and were promising that the job would get done and that they wanted to do it right. Julio did not ask for more money than his bid(even though the job probably took twice as long as planned). I did voluntarily give him additional funds. It was well worth it and the wall looks great. I now have confidence that my shed and house will not be sliding down the steep hill into the creek.
We hired advanta clean to remove the wet floor and help dry the subfloor. Advanta clean did a great job to show up on time, provide us with great information about how to handle the situation and what to expect in general. They were very professional and addressed our concerns also with great patience. Once the floor was removed and subfloor was exposed, it would have been good to have a safe (& walkable) cover on top until new hardwood was placed (due to kids in the house) which was a little disappointing but it wasnt a big issue in general. Will recommend them to anyone in need ...
"Handyman" Mike is awesome. I work for a very large restaurant in Seattle and it seems we always need something fixed whether it's a broken faucet, light bulb change, heat issue, paint chips, bathroom plumbing, you name it, he can fix it. I really like that I have someone I can always count on. I highly recommend Mike for your remodeling and handyman needs!
We had Advanced clean our church pews (about 30) and a few additional chairs. They arrived on time, worked efficiently and got the job done in just a few hours. They got some spots out that I thought were impossible. They were very knowledgeable about types of stains and what was needed to clean them. I pointed out a couple of small ones that came up after the material began to dry. They went back and got them right out. I highly recommend Advanced for cleaning pews in a short amount of time with minimal drying time and a good value.
My husband and I live in Seattle; we hired Slick Rock Services to take out a short fence in our backyard, bury a sump pump pipe, remove a curb, and install a concrete parking pad in our back yard. Mel and Shane were amazing! They were very thorough and conscientious in putting together an accurate quote for all of the work; they even came out to our property twice before we hired them to make sure the quote would be as accurate as possible! They were super friendly and very professional. The work was done pretty quickly (it was springtime so they had to work around the weather when it came to pouring the concrete) and we didn't have any surprises on our invoice in the end, we were charged what we were quoted. We had a great experience with them; our back yard and new parking pad look great!!
Scott came to my home to remove an old over the stove hood vent and light assembly; which included the removal of it, the cleaning of the duct that vents through the roof, and then the installation of the brand new hood. He did a great job. He was on time and thorough and as an addition while on the roof, he threw in some time to clean out the gutters while inspecting the roof itself. I already have in mind a few more jobs for him. His rates are competitive plus he's a very nice guy.
SOS Water Damage Services provided superior service when I had a water issue at my home. From the start with a very quick response time. Highly knowledgeable of the situation and all aspects that needed to go into the project, from tear out to dry out and reconstruct. Also, tremendous in the understanding of dealing with and processing the claim through homeowners insurance. Every member of the crew were professional at every moment and went above and beyond to ensure that my home was kept clean and restored to better than new. Attention to detail and communication were impeccable. I will use SOS Water Damage Services for any future needs for both myself as well as my client’s homes.
Called Nicko on Labor day 2015 about replacing flooring in my office room, about 130 sq ft. He came over in less than 30 minutes (lives close by) and gave me an estimate for the job and we agreed on a date. He delivered the wood and I gave him a deposit for the amount of the wood. The wood needed to adjust to the conditions in my house and he came back the next week to install it. He put on 3 coats of Swedish finish over 3 days leaving a day in the middle to dry. He sanded between coats and detail sanded along the walls by hand. The job exceeded my expectations and looks great. He did an excellent job of blending the new floor with the existing floor at the doorway so you don't notice any difference. He will be putting hardwood floor in my living room in about 2 weeks. The wood has already been delivered. His price is very competitive. He is a small operation and will not burden you with contracts, written estimates and paperwork, just good honest craftsmanship. He communicates well by cellphone and email and that will be your record of his bid.
We had Puredry come out to our house to remove and dry the mess that had A cured from a busted pipe in our basement. We had about 6" of water in our basement and pretty much ruined everything. Ben and one of his techs came out and started working right away. We appreciate there quick reaction time, expertise and the care they put into our disaster. They still contact us every once in a while to make sure that we do not smell any dry rot or mold. Our project is finished. We definitely recommend Puredry for any issues like we had.
The cleaner was very professional and my carpets were clean and dry within a couple hours.
I had a sewage flood in my condo and despite 3 phone calls it took 12 hours before the management co had a plumber here. Two days later I was given Daniel's name and his crew came and immediately assessed the damage (that night) making plans to begin drying in the am. Daniel fully explained the initial plan. I sometimes received several calls a day if key decisions needed to be made. It took time to deal with HOA and my insurance which was frustrating. But he kept me in the loop. He even took pictures of my many knick knacks while packing them to help us get them back to where they came! I trust Daniel and his decision making. He was a man of his word. I believed he had my best interests in mind and that took worry away from me during this stressful time way. Don't wait 3 days for your HOA or insurance co to bring in help. I would call Daniel and he will respond soon after the event. He will care for your home and you: The "Wright Way." Thanks Daniel and team!

We are not a Franchise Company. Therefore we dont work for the Insurance companies like the Franchise companies tend to do. We also do the project from start to finish including repairs to sheetrock, painting, floorcoverings etc.. The Franchise companies only handle the water damage cleanup and then you are on your own. We represent the homeowner with any insurance claims to make sure the homeowner gets the most of the claim and the home is restored to a "pre loss condition" with less stress to the homeowner
Honesty is our goal and we reach it due to our free estimates.
