Paul and Stephanie catered our wedding this summer and we were very pleased with their professionalism, the taste, quality, and presentation of their food, and their dedication in helping us realize our wedding vision. I was first contacted by them on Thumbtack in response to our request for a wedding caterer. We had already exhausted options from The Knot Vendor List and had been both overwhelmed with prices and underwhelmed with food taste and quality. Paul and Stephanie reached out to us quoting a plated meal including beef and fish for the same price as the cheap chicken buffets we'd been experiencing. They were kind enough to visit us in our home where Chef prepared generous samples of all the dishes we were considering. While we were eating, Stephanie took down details on the wedding and presentation. The food was phenomenal and hands down better than any other samples we'd been given. Chef even bustled about in my kitchen and found my Tupperware so he could package up the leftovers and leave them in the fridge for us. We decided to also take advantage of their pastry side and get our cupcakes for our dessert table from them. Stephanie hand delivered them to my work so I could sample them with the Fiancé. Chef did a great job at making me feel comfortable with everything he was preparing with his knowledge of gluten free cooking and baking and comprehension of cooking safety for individuals with Celiac. Nearly all our item we ordered were gluten free, and the ones that weren't, were kept separate. The months leading up to the wedding was simple and easy communication, I wish I could have said this for all my vendors. Payments expectations were made clear and could be easily made by credit card. Stephanie made time to have two additional consultations to discuss food plating, food table decorations, and cupcake topping design. I supplied her with a binder and the weekend before the wedding she had a phone consultation with me to review the details and it was evident she had already looked at all the contents extensively. The day of the wedding the catering team was on point. They jumped in and took over many of the duties our wedding coordinator was not attending to including setting up our appetizer and dessert tables and guest tables to my design plan. The food was excellent and all of our guests have said they couldn't stop stuffing themselves with delicious noms. The plating was lovely, the cupcake toppings were just as I'd envisioned, and the waitstaff and bartender were very attentive. Stephanie was present at the wedding and Chef Paul had prepared most of the food but was catering another event. I was so pleased with her and her staff and her attention to detail and hard work helping us create our day. They packed up all the leftovers for us and we were told they were the last vendors there still working hard at helping everyone clean up. If you are looking at catering a large event do yourself a favor and check out Paul and Stephanie. They are not only a great chef and planner duo, they are also incredibly kind and compassionate individuals. One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't know Stephanie was also a wedding coordinator, I wish I would have hired her instead of the girl we did. Additionally, their prices are more than reasonable and worth every penny.
KT's Hospitality did a wonderful job catering our corporate event. They delivered exactly what we needed and provided all of the extra supplies for a great presentation. The food was delicious and their prices were very reasonable. Jessica was very responsive and easy to work with. Would highly recommend.
Chantel and her team did an outstanding job of catering our event. The food was delicious (cooked to perfection and nice and hot with many choices), the service was great (the ladies were all warm and friendly) and the set-up and clean-up was flawless. I received many compliments from guests regarding the food. They will most certainly be my caterers of choice the next time the need arises and I would highly recommend them!
Francisco was better than I could have possibly hoped for. I had a last minute need for a caterer for dinner for my husband's 50th birthday party, AND needed several accommodations for a variety of food allergies. Not only did Francisco respond to my request quickly and provide delectable allergen free Mexican dinner buffet for 16, he communicated with me to get clarity on the food issues and arrived early, with what we needed. The guests were impressed and I will definitely be using K&F Catering again! (Oh and the price was very reasonable and in line with market rates for his services!)
We hosted a dinner party for 10 at our home. Nola and her assistant Flo prepared an amazing meal, from appetizers through dessert. Nola was so easy to work with through the planning stages and had great ideas for how to optimize our home and time with our guests. As if the delicious food weren't enough, she also made sure the kitchen and dining room were clean before she left, which was an added bonus to an otherwise exquisite evening. I would highly recommend her and will not hesitate to call her again when we entertain.

Brett was professional, timely and made delicious food that was tailored to by unique palate. It was a great introduction to thumbtack and having a professional chef, with how busy I am with work. Greatly appreciated, and looking forward to continuing to utilize this in the future.
Sami came to our home to help us manage our Thanksgiving feast. She brought her daughter to help. Sami made us an amazing curry butternut squash soup that had coconut, cashews, green onions and bananas as the condiment toppings. Everyone raved. She also made us a potato parsnip mash instead of regular mashed potatoes. These were delish. Her gravy was the best I have had. Sami and her daughter stayed through to dessert and made sure that everything was sparkling clean before she left. I am rating Sami a 4 because she is still new to this business and there are always things that can be improved. Within in a short period of time I am sure she will be a 5. I would use Sami again and will recommend her to friends.
Sanja reached out to me within an hour of my request for caterers. She sent me a full proposal with menu items, cost break out, and everything I could possibly need. She worked with me for hours on end, revising the proposal 4 times to meet my needs. She was patient, kind, flexible, and so helpful! She has stayed in constant contact with me, answering every question within minutes. Although they were over my budget, because of their diverse menu, and especially her customer service, I recommended to my Market Manager that we spend the extra money. I'm so excited to entertain our clients next week and I know I won't be disappointed!
Chef David Boyd- Private Chef-Down to Earth Cuisine "Delicious, organic, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated dishes"- On August 7th I hired Private Chef David Boyd to prepare an Italian Dinner for 10 in my home. (I had offered the "Italian Dinner for 8" as an auction item not knowing at the time who I would hire) He (and his lovely wife, also hired to assist him) arrived at 1pm to begin cooking for the 5:30pm event. Earlier in the week, we met to decide on the menu, appropriate tableware and wine/beverage pairings for the 5 course menu. We went with a Northern Italian theme featuring peaches because they were in season and seafood. I handled the purchase of the wine and cocktail ingredients but paid half of the per person food cost up front so that he could do all the grocery shopping which he did using local fish/meat stores and organically grown fruit and veggies from our area farmers market. He also arrived with all of his own knives and most utensils needed though he did use my mixing bowls and cookware. The entire meal was then prepared in our kitchen. Because he makes everything from scratch like croutons, mayonnaise, sugared garnish for the dessert etc. it is very time consuming, labor intensive and requires full use of your kitchen. He and his wife worked hard and fast for the 4.5 hours before guests arrived. They were conscientious and they cleaned and emptied the garbage etc. as they went. The result was delicious, organic, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated dishes that my husband and I were proud to serve to our guests. I would suggest discussing the estimated prep time for individual menu items as well as the per person cost ahead of time. Chef David seems capable of working within any reasonable budget, but he does require a lot of prep time if you choose complex menu items so that factors into his hourly rate. I think the dinner cost me more than what guests paid at the auction but that's totally my fault for not being more clear about my budget and for suggesting such complex ideas like an appetizer of scallops served in some sea shells I had. All in all, it was a very impressive, well paced, 5 course meal, and my guests enjoyed hearing Chef David explain the details of each delicious course as it was served. It was so nice to be able to just relax and enjoy my guests rather than stress about the food and clean-up. A really fun experience! I recommend hiring Chef David Boyd of Down to Earth Cuisine for your next dinner party. - Suzy H.
Nichole is an intuitive cook, who loves food and cultivates a sensual experience celebrating flavors. She's wonderful at locally sourcing and prioritizes health and ethics almost as highly as making delicious food. I've tried Nichole's cooking for a variety of diet restrictions and she can do it all. Good food!

We used 314 Pie for catering our wedding and we were very happy we chose them. They responded very quickly by email and phone whenever we had a question, arrived in plenty of time, and were very professional and polite serving guests. Also, they were able to serve all of our 100+ guests very quickly. The pies were very delicious, we and all of our guests were very happy. Highly recommend!
I am a foodie so when i saw fliers inviting for a free food tasting at Stella Maris Kitchen i could not miss it! I was amazed at the quality and variety of the food that was available!! Menu consisted of delightful African dishes, tasty Italian pastas, gourmet American burgers, salads, sandwiches etc. What i liked most was the fact that everything on the menu was the healthy version: no sugar or additives. I raved about them in the office and we had them cater for our Christmas party and everyone loved the food. They have since catered two company birthday parties and a recent send-off party for a member of my staff. The latter event was impromptu yet hot, freshly prepared salmon sandwiches, shrimp pasta salad, garden salad, Jollof rice and tasty sauteed greens for 50 people was delivered at short notice I will certainly recommend you try them!!
Cierra Laub, Jarod Johnson, and Ash Candelario catered our wedding in August 2014. We had about 150 people to feed. The variety of dishes they prepared was wonderful. We had vegans, vegetarians, and others with no food specifications and there was something for everyone. My husband, our guests, and I were impressed with the quality of the food and service provided. Everything was refilled in a timely manner so no one was ever waiting to eat what they liked. The price to quality ratio for the food was very affordable. We had a budget and they did an amazing job to work within and even under that. We would have them cater again without hesitation.
