I started working with Kathy in May of 2017. After a few weeks, we settled on working together three days a week, which has been key to my success. Frequent training is definitely better, it keeps me on a constantly improving trajectory instead of always playing catch-up since the last time. Let me tell you about my experience with Marinello Fitness. I contacted Daniel approximately 6 months before I was due to go to Navy Boot Camp. I was 30 years old and at 195lbs, I was overweight. I hadn't really worked out very much in my life, and so I wasn't used to doing so and as such I was very unfit. I couldn't even do five push ups and I certainly couldn't run down to the end of the a football field without being out of breath about half way there. To be able to be boot camp ready I had to lose some pounds, be able to do more push ups and sit ups as well as run 1.5 miles. I had to be able to compete with 18 years old who were fresh out of high school. It was a very intimidating prospect for my future and it left me very anxious. After contacting Daniel, he promptly got back in touch with me and after first assessing my current level of fitness, he came up with a great work out plan to help me reach my goals and that met my budget restraints. The plan was for five days a week of personal training and was not overly difficult, and he was careful to help me make sure that I didn't injure myself. He also gave exceptional advice on diet and nutrition that was healthy, and would still enable me to have delicious food. Throughout the entire process Daniel was never judgmental and was very patient, pleasant, encouraging, and always cared about my long term success, he is an amazing motivator. By the end of my time time working with Daniel I ended up being able to reach all of my goals, losing more than 20lbs, and not only meeting, but exceeding the requirements to pass Navy Boot Camp. I was able to do more sit-ups than any of the 18 year-olds that were there! If you ever have the privilege to work with Daniel, I suggest you take it. He will help you reach all of your goals in a way better than anyone else can. I also know for a fact that Daniel is always getting big dollar offers from oil rich Sheikhs in the Middle East to help them with their fitness and their golf game, so make use of him while you still have him.
I have been trained by both Megan and Jason, they are both amazing at what they do and really know how to motivate you! I have done boot camps and personal training sessions. They give you a meal plan and help you reach your goals! They both really know how to kick your butt, but I Love this place!
This guy gives top quality and is hands down one of the coolest guys around. He's very attentative to how you do the movements and makes sure you're doing everything you need to to reach your goals. Ian Fitness is one of the best fitness studios I have every been too! The Boot camp classes are amazing, they are always a varied routine and lots of encouragement from the trainers. I have been working with a personal trainer here for over a year and have lost weight, inches and feel much stronger. He has really helped me reached my personal fitness goals! Definitely check it out!
My wife and I have been with Matt for the past 4 months and have been pleased with our results. He's a great trainer, easy to get along with, very flexible with our schedule and most importantly has a kick ass mustache. When I first started with him, I had a nagging shoulder issue that Matt was able to work out by strengthening that particular part of my shoulder. He's done a great job formulating a workout tailored to the areas that I was looking to improve. As an added plus, he helped shape our nutrition to help us shed the extra pounds we were already losing from our workouts. If you are looking for boot camp instructor or overzealous crossfit leader to bark at you for an hour, Matt's not for you. If you are looking for a knowledgable, personable trainer that will push you and not break you, then Matt's your guy. That being said, we highly recommend his services.
Every physician loves to tell us - "eat less, exercise more". Really?? Consider my mind blown by this super secret squirrel nugget of wisdom! Ladies & Gents, in reality, getting to the gym and working out on a regular basis is no easy feat. I enjoy physical activity, but I will also find a billion excuses why I just couldn't make it in today. This is where a great personal trainer comes into the picture! I have trained with Jr on and off for nearly 4 years now. This guy holds some solid certifications such as ACSM and Crossfit Level 1. He also studied to become a personal trainer not by reading a book (which is how many trainers get certified), but by actually going to school (National Personal Training Institute) for over 6 months. Working out with Jr, you will never catch him looking at his phone, or at other clients, or chatting with his gym buddies - all attention is focused on YOU! This is a very important detail in my book. He is respectful, knowledgeable and really fun! After your initial fitness assessment, he will identify your level of intensity and areas of weakness to focus on. Jr does a great job of keeping things interesting and constantly varying our workouts: from strength training to crossfit style circuits, to summer boot camps on Green Lake, there is no room for workout boredom, ever. Even though I love my Crossfit gym, I still work with Jr when I am looking for personal attention or just need to spice up my workout routine. And yes, he is a genuinely good guy, which makes working with him a pleasure.
Wanted to up my fitness a bit, so I tried his Tabata boot camp. It was awesome! All the exercises were possible without equipment so it could be done anywhere and he customized the workouts to the areas I wanted to work on most. Always available for help and gave solid advice to fix any issues I was having. Definitely recommend!
What a great experience - the training is intense and fun all at the same time! Ryan is willing to work with my crazy schedule so I am able to get both personal training and participate in the weekend Boot Camps in on a regular basis. He also has the knowledge and the experience to help me with the best exercises to accommodate my old glory days injury's which is huge. If you get the chance you should drop in for a workout - it's well worth it!
Ihor really knows his stuff!!! He is one of the hardest working people I know! He will not let you quit, really cares about you to help you reach your goals, and is very disciplined when it comes to fitness!!! He truly is the perfect candidate for a trainer or instructor because of his caring personality and extremely hard work ethic! He will get you where you want to be...give him a chance!!! Corinne at Cura Vida Fitness has been doing a superb job! We met for an introductory lesson where she assessed my fitness level and talked about my goals. She was very personable and easy to work with, also does a great job at catering to my scheduling needs and is very responsive to any type of communication. She's also a great motivator and very knowledgeable in her field. I would highly recommend her booty camps as fun short sessions to meet others while getting a workout and I've also taken advantage of her nutrition help in order to optimize my results.
