Theresa is absolutely an amazing violin instructor! After taking violin lessons from many skilled instructors, I found Theresa very effective and engaging. She is great at teaching to both adults and children, and I'm so grateful to be one of her students:))
My son is 10 years old and he has been taking violin lessons with Danielle for more than one year. Danielle is very patient and resourceful teacher. My son said he feels very comfortable to ask Danielle questions and she always gives him a variety of songs to keep him interested. On the admin side, Danielle communicates very well with me. She updates me with my son's progress periodically. Also she is very responsive with schedule changes. Therefore, I highly recommend Danielle as a violin teacher.
Andi is a very patient teacher. I’m 50 and just beginning the violin.
Although I only had a few lessons with Caitlin, I found her advice and teaching style helpful and informative.
Katie is a wonderful teacher! I am an adult student with no experience with the violin, and she has helped me to feel at ease and truly enjoy the process of learning to play this beautiful instrument. I have made an incredible amount of progress in three months. She is knowledgeable, collaborative, and fun to work with.
My teenage daughter really enjoys her violin lessons. She feels like her technique has improved a lot with Clare’s direction and that they use the lesson time efficiently. She also enjoys Clare’s teaching style. Clare is punctual and responds quickly to texts or emails about questions. I’d highly recommend her.
Im provided with private violin lessons and I feel really grateful to have Kimmy as a teacher. She really relates to you on a level seldom teachers do. She's very supportive and laid back yet pushes you to improve too. No complaints! :)
I have had violin lessons with Jared for almost 4 months now. I have some basics in violin but had not played for 17 years. Jared helped me to get back to playing pretty fast. His technique is great and the teaching is pleasant. He makes the learning fun. He is also very patient and flexible with my busy work schedule. Thanks!!!
Hello, my family has used the Woo sisters for our children's music lessons for the last year. Our daughter is taking violin lessons with Esther, and Grace teaches our son and daughter piano. Esther is an extremely talented player that has the patience and caring to teach little children an instrument that requires great attention to detail and focus. Esther is always positive, caring, and creates motivation and passion through her teaching style. Her ability to communicate to a 5 year old in a way they understand exactly what she is teaching amazes me. Grace's passion is the piano, and it shows through her teaching. We have had several piano teachers prior to Grace. Her attention to detail and positive attitude bring out the best musicianship in both of our children. Their playing ability has improved by leaps and bounds through her instruction. Her mastery of the piano and dedication to her craft have made her into an incredible teacher that is passed on to all of her students. Both of the Woo sisters are flexible on teaching times and have never been late or canceled an appointment. I highly recommend both teachers for learning the piano or the violin.
Thanks Jessica for teaching our 2 kids. She offers violin lessons for older one and piano lessons for the younger one. We had lots of trouble with our previous teachers. Jessica knows how to deal with them not practicing and help them set goals for their music learning. Our 2 kids also have different personality and talent level and she seems to tailor her style accordingly. I would recommend her as a piano and violin teacher.
I really enjoy taking lessons from Jessi. She's very patient and easy to work with. She's also a great listener and has a lot of tricks to address specific issues I have. I work full time and I'm taking lessons mostly for fun. It's great to have an instructor who is understanding of my schedule and can put together a practice regiment that makes the best use of my time.
We are Premium Lessons. We offer piano and violin lessons.
Experience is key! I have been teaching private lessons for 14 years and teach almost 50 students a week. I feel confident in my program and will help you learn the most for your time and money.
I help prepare students for symphony, school orchestra auditions and other pieces they wish to work on. I also provide writing and SAT tutoring.
I offer guitar, piano and violin lessons to ages three to adult. I have been teaching for 25 years. I know that learning styles must be addressed for each student to be successful. I see every person as unique and important. I derive great joy from helping others learn to play music!
I am an experienced cello teacher with a great passion in music, and I am offering private lessons. I help students prepare orchestra pieces and offer two recitals per year. All young cellists are encouraged to join their school orchestra, Solo and Ensemble Festival, and local youth symphonies.
I am now accepting new students! I just graduated from Indiana University with dual masters' degrees in music, in guitar performance and violin performance. I also teach piano and mandolin. Please visit my website for videos of my playing. I've just moved to Seattle and I'm looking forward to helping you with your musical journey!
We are a family known locally for our transcriptions. We teach piano, violin, viola, cello and bass, as well as very beginner flute and drum lessons. We also teach basic music theory and help others try to learn how to transcribe their very own favorite songs to any instrumentation. We also perform our own transcriptions for various events, such as weddings, services and parties, and we take any custom requests they may have, from Elvis Presley to the Beatles and Miley Cyrus.
Violin is a delicate, yet passionate instrument that can bring much enjoyment in playing. Come to a free first lesson in our exclusive private studio; try it out, Since music is my passion, I want everyone to try it out. So I am giving you your first lesson for free! There are no obligations. Here are some reasons why bringing in music in a child's life can enhance his/her education and personal growth such as the following: 1. Early musical training helps develop brain areas involved in language and reasoning. 2. Studies show that students who are involved in music have higher SAT scores. 3. Violin practices self-motivation, dedication, and self-expression. 4. Musical study enhances teamwork skills and discipline. 5. Music helps the student focus more on âdoingâ vs. observing in the workforce. We are accepting students from ages five and up! Our prices are as follows: * $15 for half an hour * $22 for 45 minutes * $30 for 1 hour Remember, first half-hour lesson is absolutely free!
My name is Caleb Tizon. I'm a senior at Edmonds-Woodway and an experienced violinist. I have been the concertmaster of my school's Symphony Orchestra for 3 years and am second chair in the Chamber Orchestra. I have also been a member of the Cascade Junior Symphony and the Seattle Rock Orchestra. I give solo and ensemble performances pretty often, and have gotten a number of awards and recognitions. I am here to offer violin lessons from beginner to somewhat advanced (as long as you're not better than me, otherwise you should look for a more advanced teacher). Just to give a hint as to my level, the most advanced concerto in my repertoire is the Barber (1st two movements) and I'm currently looking at the Sibelius and learning it very gradually. I'm available anytime after 3 on weekdays (other than Monday, because I have my own lessons) and virtually anytime on weekends. I am also available for performances if somebody wants a violinist or an ensemble to play at an event for them.
