Deborah Drake is incredible! I was first introduced to Deb over a year ago, after she invited me to be a part of her weekly writing group we affectionately called Tuesdays with Deborah or better known to us as A Writers Support Group for Reticent Bloggers. She created a safe haven for writers and bloggers to incubate their ideas and share thoughts weekly. Which turned out to be some of the best inspiration, not only for my writing, but for my business as well. I have also had the opportunity to work with her on my first book, The Art of Working for Yourself which she was my editor and voice on my shoulder, helping me get out of my own way. I have to thank her for helping me keep my writing voice as the project went along. As tough as the process sometimes was for me, Deb was pivotal in making sure I stayed on track and helped me flush out ideas from the cover to my bio. I would work with her again in a heartbeat. What more can I say, Deb is good at what she does.
Louisa is a very nice English teacher. At the beginning of Jan, I was going to have an interview, and I need someone to help me with English conversation. That's why I found Louisa. We met at a coffee shop downtown Seattle several times. She was really patient, she helped me with both general conversation and interview questions, and she helped a lot with my wording problems. I really appreciated her job.
Fran did an outstanding job in creating my resume and cover letter. She is very professional to work with and is highly detail oriented. Fran took my so so resume and turned it into outstanding. I'm confident that my resume will produce interviews. I highly recommend Fran to anyone looking for a professional resume writer/editor.
I retained Ms. Daniel to edit my manuscript for publishing. This was a manuscript of poetry and abstracts that would require an editor a great deal of patience. While I didn't have a deadline to complete this editing task, it would require her professionalism and constructive thinking. She tackled the issues with a very positive and forward thinking approach. She expanded the readership for the manuscript dramatically and addressed each poem and abstract in such a way that I was awed by her creativeness. We maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process, even though we were 1500 miles apart. My manuscript is now ready for publication and the publisher is very impressed with the high quality of the manuscript which I credit Ms. Daniel.
With wholehearted confidence, I offer my recommendation for Lynn Murphy as a writer, editor, project manager, and essential member of any team. I am the editor-in-chief of ALL IN magazine and its website, allinmag.com, and I had the pleasure of working directly with Lynn on numerous projects during her time at ALL IN. She is an enthusiastic and energetic worker, always bursting with new ideas and skilled at communicating them to the rest of the team. What stands out most about Lynn is the way she becomes the glue person in any group; she develops strong relationships with everyone else on the team, unites everyone, and is the key to keeping lines of communication flowing in all directions.
As an editor, I found Casey to be a highly capable writer who meets deadlines, responds to communication quickly, and delivers every time.
Have worked with Barbara on many writing projects over the past 20 years. She's an excellent writer, editor, and teacher! Very detailed, observant, and nuanced.
I looked for an editor who had a knowledge of the law to do a tech edit of my novel because Iâm not a lawyer. Brian Roberts did a terrific job. He more than met my expectations. He unearthed those paragraphs that needed a re-write to become understandable. He gave characters voice in their own dialect. He could be counted on to finish chapters in a timely fashion. I would seek his services for future projects.
Judith was both editor and publisher of my book in 2012. Her technical skills for the page were exceptional. She has a fine eye for detail and for artistic look. Her keen sense of story made the book better on every level. The prospect of getting a book to print and to e-reader readiness was daunting for this author. Judith handled it all professionally and with good humor. Tasks were accomplished on time. The finished product has garnered many compliments. I'm very happy to be working with her on a second book.

I am willing to take the time to ensure each student succeeds. I check up regularly even after the tutoring sessions are over to confirm a solid understanding of the topic was developed. I do not do work for individuals but instead guide through them the questions and tasks at hand to ensure they are properly approaching the assignment.
